Content spending his time fighting and screwing, Etienne Beauchamp never wanted to be a hero but he couldn’t turn away from a terrified scream in this thrilling paranormal romance.
Taya Briarcroft finds her very own knight in shining armor when she’s rescued by Etienne and the reader can’t help but get drawn into the story as Taya learns that there is more to Etienne than meets the eye but also discovers that his being different doesn’t stop her from loving him. The chemistry sizzles from every page and the sex scenes are hot enough to scorch a dragon but the relationship is on a path that leads to destruction because there are some that think those differences are a big deal which leads to lots of heart gripping emotional turbulence. These strong compelling characters captivate the reader right from the beginning and the fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps adrenaline pumping with lots of suspense, thrills and romance.
Lots of excitement and tension throughout the story as not only does Taya need protection from her original attackers, there are others in the supernatural community who have sent assassins to end her life and a firecracker of a Valkyrie adds a bit of spice to this extremely tense situation. Well written scenes and details bring the story to life and the intriguing events guarantee that there is never a dull moment.
Once again, the Montana Dragons live up to expectations with an action-packed, heart gripping and passionate story that I couldn’t put down and I can’t wait to read the next exciting adventure.

Well this was a cute little fairy tale. Plain Jane is saved by a dragon hottie. Hot sex ensues. She changes him from a playboy complete with his own harem to a one woman type of guy. As a slightly plump book worm myself, it was fun to imagine a Chris Hemsworth look alike falling for me in a matter of days.
For this to work for you, you have to go in totally suspending any sense of reality, and this author makes it so easy to do that. Some paranormal stories try to make it gritty or believable and then you start questioning the unbelievable parts and then I get a little crazy. Not Chloe though, and quite frankly, I appreciate that restraint. She stays in her lane and does it well. She kept it light, tight, and bright, a little sultry and fun. Recommended for when you need a light, fun read on a rainy afternoon or on the beach.

I enjoyed the pace of the story between the main characters. I get the reluctant hero and the damsel in distress isn't for everyone but this went so far beyond the initial good deed that I really grew to love them as a couple. It was also fun getting to meet Mina who came in to the story as the girl you want to hate but fast became an amazing friend and ally to them both. I did not know how close she and Etienne were until much later. I loved that Taya got to show how truly strong she was even when it didn't seem like strength was her best option. The flow of the story was constant and I read the book straight through because I had to know what was going to happen. I will be reading more by Chloe Cole and hope to read Mina's story one day.

Again... couldn’t put it down
I dunno what’s wrong with me or the series, but this just captivated me from beginning to end. AGAIN, just like book one this story is not special and all the details were highly predictable. But I couldn’t put it down.
This was a quick read and again despite what is common traits amongst all supernatural creatures it’s like these books ignored it just to move the story along. We didn’t even get a resolution about the rogue wolves or the fact that they were on drugs or something.... but I still wanted to finish it. 😒

Etienne and Taya had a tumultuous beginning as violent creatures continually tried to end her existence. The drama and mayhem was off the chart and still there was time for a romance to develop between Alpha male dragon, Etienne and Taya the shy and lonely young lady recovering from a recent brutal attack. Every part of this story was riveting and the ending was a complete surprise. Very entertaining and captivating!!!!

A great first read from this author. It was such a thrill ride. Two complete opposite in every way meet one scary night. I loved there chemistry and how they just worked. A few twist and a major turn later. I wish there was more of an ending or even an epilogue because it felt rushed. But it still didn't take away from the story but it could of added to it because it was that good.

3.5 This was a really cute but sexy Dragon shifter book. I felt like the issues were resolved really quickly with no mention of how the counsel reacted or how they found out. It was just assumed that the threat was over. Problem solved. With that being said there was a build up for Mina's book which I do want to read. Overall not bad. I will be looking into the other books in this series.

I really like this series. It is a spin off of the Montana Wolf series I have not read. But it is perfectly understandable without having read the other series first. I've already bought the next book and look forward to reading it because it's about a Valkerie. If you love sexy dragons you will love this book.

Wow!
The first book was dark and didn't really appeal to me.
Taya and Etienne's story was the complete opposite.
Their attraction to each other was undeniable and the suspense and action was spot on.

What a great deal for a great story. No waiting -- no cliff hangers. This book is about a sexy--hot--did I say hot? dragon shifter. The guy's a player with no intention of changing. Etienne comes across Taya, sweet teacher with terrible luck in the men category, being attacked by rogue wolf shifters. Saving her is the beginning of changes for them both. Danger, love, loyalty, bucking the system and steam, lots of steam.
I loved watching the transition and growth of the characters, the addition of a new dynamic character, Mina, and the visit with old friends from the previous series.
I had to wait for the books one at a time, you do not have to. Get this gripping series. You will love the lovers and the emotions Ms Cole drags you through to the finish. A strong recommend for shifter lovers and romance lovers alike

Action packed romance
The first book in this series was so good I couldn't pass up the second book. The stories are so well written you just fall into them. The interaction between the characters is so engaging its almost as if you are I the shadows watching it live. Just read the teaser for Mina story it's now on my summer reading list.
