Bawling my eyes out!

So many books are all rainbows and sunshine and happily ever after, as though nothing bad really happens. This series is just the opposite. Bad things happen, and the characters look for the light, the silver lining, and they pick up the pieces as well as they can. I've cried happy tears and sad tears and angry tears, but never so many tears as the last few chapters. Without giving any spoilers, I couldn't imagine a better ending. Things happen, people are lost and found, and in the end perseverance and love are what bring you through. You can overcome anything short of death.

Oh...my....god!! More tears!! 😭😭😭 I am seriously ugly crying right now. This last book of the series was amazing. I am so glad that I picked this series up and gave it a chance. The way everything worked out was so incredible. I am in awe of this author. I don’t think there is another book I’ve ever read that put me through all these emotions in such a good way. This series is a new favorite of mine and one I would for sure read again.

Oh my goodness! what a completion of an amazing, thrilling, roller coaster of a read!

I've loved Lexi and Cole, since I picked up Branded. They have had a very intense couple of years, with all the questions being answered; the T's crossed and the I's dotted!

The culmination of the horrid things they have both had to live with, the friendships they made and subsequently lost. Their family members, even those not blood, or who they thought they were.

Cole and Lexi were a formidable team, and they grew into each other, they were there or each other, were each others hidden strength and that beautiful creature that is Zeus, what an amazing ally to have in your corner.

This has had me going through a myriad of emotions, felt all the pain they were both feeling.

Awe! how lovely the first epilogue, one year later, things certainly are beginning to turn around.
Blooming Heck! just finished 5 Years later, Zeus was one fine pup! a force to be reckoned with, as well as being a great judge of character he was an integral part of their survival of The Hole.

Wow, what an amazing journey Lexi and Cole have endured. The Remembrance Room with such poignant memories, I feel honoured to have experienced their journey with them, to meeting their children and extended families. The emotional funeral of a much loved friend, to the regeneration of life after The Hole, and now the sweet little pup that is Buckwheat.

Fabulous page turner. Loved every minute of this series.

Three books were unnecessary. This could have been wrapped up in two books. The second book was a waste of time. NOTHING happened. All they did was run, hide, cry, get shot at, run, cry, get shot at, ect, ect. The third one was OK. It picked up a LITTLE bit. It was still nothing great. Nothing was shocking; the plot twists didn't really do anything for me. The whole secret Cole had was just meh. They drug it out. This whole series was drug out. The first book was good, I really enjoyed it. Then it got boring and I couldn't wait to finish so I could finally be done with it. By the end of the second book I was so done with Lexi. I got to the point that I hated her. How in tf do you lose that many damn packs and guns?! Like damn, girl, can you stop losing the cans of beans?! You know how many times she tripped and lost a gun or a knife?! I was just done with her and the story.

I devoured books one and two of this series and couldn’t wait to jump right into book three. Honestly there were parts that felt like they dragged and then it gets moving and is full of twist and turns. Some things were predictable, but added to the story line. I loved going on the journey with Lexi and Cole, these stories really make you either love or hate the characters and you form a bind. I must warn you have tissues for this one because imagine being stabbed, then have the knife twisted, and for good measure toss a little salt on it. All in all a great read for any dystopian lover!!!

I am so glad this is over! There was so many inconsistencies. Some as simple as having a head shaved then three pages later there is hair again and then they seem to remember that oops that head was shaved so it was gone again a page later. The amount of crying in this book is also insane. I just can’t with this book right now.

I really enjoyed this book! I read it in just over a week and I was really eager to finish this book as I have been waiting to see how the story ends for all these characters.

At first, I found this book hard to get into but I think that was because I read the first 2 books last summer so it has been a year! After the first few pages, I started to remember the story and the characters and it was all coming back to me and making sense.

After I got my head around the story again, I have to admit I did find the first few chapters a bit slow paced. I personally like a fast-paced book with a lot of action that keeps me on the edge of my seat, but I can appreciate a book cant be like that the whole way through.

When I was about 200 pages into the book, omg did this story start to kick off! I flew through this part of the book because as I said I love action and faced paced books. There were so many twists and turns and plot twists that I couldn't put the book down!

In regards to the characters, I loved them all there wasn't one I didn't like. I loved how Lexi grew up and got stronger throughout the whole book series but I feel in this book she was so strong and brave and determined. I really like that about her. Also, her and Coles relationship developed nicely throughout the book too.
Although I do have to admit there were times when there was too much romance for my liking. I don't tend to read heavy romance books as I prefer fantasy and sci-fi etc. So at the time, I did find myself wanting to get past the romance parts. It also felt like the romance scenes in this book were the same throughout as it would always be Lexi and Cole saying they will never leave each other and then having a moment of intense passion.

The only thing that let this book down for me was the last 40 pages. Now don't get me wrong I did enjoy this book but I felt like the last 40 pages could have been shortened. These last 40 pages were about life after the Hole and Lexi and Coles life together. It was nice hearing about what happened to each character but personally, I didn't feel like I needed a play-by-play of the wedding and the night of their wedding, but that is just my personal opinion as like I said I am not really into romance books. I feel like this part could have been shortened with a chapter explaining where the characters had ended up.

Overall, I did enjoy this book regardless of the little niggles I had with the romance and last few chapters. I would recommend this series to anyone who is into dystopian book series as overall I really enjoyed the series.

I really enjoyed this book. There was a lot in it, but not too much. You saw the character development throughout the series and what they became in this book. Such great writing.

There were a few twists and turns that I didn't see coming which was nice because I am one of those readers that doesn't like everything to be tired up in a nice neat bow, there has to be some conflict and loss in these worlds because of the evil and all that they are overcoming. If not then it seems like what they were fighting for was too easy. I don't know if that makes sense to everyone or just me, but that's is just my way of thinking.

Cole and Lexi make a formidable team. Over time they have learned how to work together seamlessly and it shows. But the care they have for others always comes before each other, which I love about this book and their relationship. I also love that it isn't all honeymoon phase wither. I was a little annoyed at one point, but its okay, when you read the book I think you will understand why, but then again you might not because you may not share my view.

The authors did a phenomenal job connecting me with the characters and I had actually had tears in my eyes at one point which I can actually say has only happened one other time while I was reading a book. That goes to show me how well this was written.

So this gets the big 5 stars from me which I haven't handed out in a while. I know it looks like it took me forever to finish but that was not because of the story that was other things getting in the way.

So I do recommend this book and this Series. Like all series it can be a little meh at times but all and all good book and series. Kudos to the authors.

I received a copy of this book for free in exchange for my honest opinion. All thoughts on this book are my own.

I’m always worried about endings to series because sometimes it just doesn’t live up to my expectations. This book, however, was not like that. This book was the perfect ending to this series. I feel like this series got better and better with every book. Cole and Lexi have to deal with some stuff in their relationship (due to some secrets that came out in book 2) which I fell makes their relationship seem more realistic. Overall, I think this book wraps up quite nicely.

I give this book a 4 out of 5 stars.

OK

Not great for the third book of a series which had a lot of promise in the beginning. I'm a bit disappointed.
There is much action, which is good and keeps the story moving, but the personal relationships, especially between Cole and Lexi, are rather juvenile and very lame. The main couple go through horrendous suffering and battles to the death, but act like 12 year-olds when it comes to their romance. An odd mix of super heroes and immature kids.
I was bored with the epilogues. Just over the top stuff that was unnecessary.
Young readers of dystopian genre might like.

5 stars! This book is amazing. Please tell me where I can find myself a COLE! I loved Branded, I loved Hunted and I absolutely LOVED LIBERATED! It was definitely worth the wait and did not disappoint. If you liked the Hunger Games and Divergent you will definitely love this series if not more! You can't help but fall in love with the characters and grow seriously attached. Reading this book was so bittersweet as I wanted to know how it ended, but didn't want it to end. My heart raced constantly while reading and I had so many emotions. Highly recommend this incredible book that I couldn't put down. Looking forward to what’s next from Abi and Missy.

All the feels!

This was, by far, the BEST book of the 3! I loved all the books, and yes all three were a wild ride with ups and downs of emotions, but this one had my laughing out loud, yelling at the characters out loud, gasping, sighing, and oh man, the CRYING!!!!! Tears of joy, grief, sorrow, love, relief, happiness, anger, pain, from one end of the spectrum to the other. I will definitely read these books again. And again, and again. And I will suggest these books to anyone.

I got so emotional reading this one. A heart stopping ending to a good series. Again, so glad I didn't have to endure the cliffhanger from the previous book. There's a lot of drama between Lexi and Cole's relationship due to what we find out in Hunted, it seems like it kind of takes over majority of the book. It did feel a bit rushed but I think it ended really well, minus one small part that I'm sure many will agree with. All in all this series was pretty great.

This is a great ending to the trilogy.
There are twists and turns.

I saw part of the big reveal coming, well two things.
I had time and books between this and the other two books, and I still remembered the characters.
It handles PTSD in a real way, not pretending that it can just go away because you want it to.
The epilogue and wrap up was a beautiful way to see the growth and development of the characters we went through so much with.

Worth every tear!

The conclusion to this series was everything I could have hoped for! Everything from the previous books comes together in an amazing way. There were lots of tears shed while reading this book, but also lots of laughs courtesy of Crazy Bill and Zeus. These characters never gave up hope and truly lived by their adopted mission statement "you can survive anything short of death"

What. A. Ending.

Tears are streaming down my face, I could not have hoped for a better conclusion to this awesome and awarding journey. Lexi is the epitome of a hero and a soldier. She is brave, hopeful, and scared throughout her journey into the Hole and out while building her life. One tune this series gets right is forgiveness. It is totally worth it.

1.5/5 out of all the books in the series this was is written the best but that still doesn’t say much! The choppy scenes and poor dialogue are painful to read! So glad I am finished with this series. Would not recommend

I barely finished it because it sucked so much. I don't know why Lexi is the main lead when she doesn't do anything other than getting caught in shit and others rescuing her. She wasn't an inspiring figure she thought she was. She just sucked.

It was a good ending to the series but there were a few things that I didn't like.
This is also definitely not YA, more like adult or new adult
