Burkholder and Norris edit a balanced collection of essays that trace the beginnings of the Grace movement through the establishment of educational institutions through some of the key changes that have occurred. The essays feature a wide range of topics, including the historical development of the institutions, changes in the student body, the theological and geographical context in which the institutions find themselves, and the various leaders of the institutions. This is a collection that highlights both the accomplishments of the institution as well as some of the challenges faced, including those presented by particular leaders.
