Two worlds separated by magic. The future of both rests in her hands.
Surrounded by a loving family and her two best friends, Brianna St. James’ life has been filled with love and happiness. Now that she’s graduated from high school, her only worry should be what major to declare in the fall. But when nightmares plague her, and unexplainable things start to happen, any hopes for a simple life flicker and fade.
Drustan, her sworn Guardian and protector, has been sent to bring her home. Now he must help her remember a past that was taken from her and protect her from the dark forces that would see her dead.
Two worlds. One hope. Her.

Do you believe in magic? I do. Words have the ability to conjure magical worlds that can whisk us away from our everyday lives. There is magic everywhere, you just have to look.
I will be publishing my debut novel Myst in 2016. I am originally from sunny Southern California but now call Nashville, Tennessee home with my daughter and our two fur-kids (dogs).
( Source: I received a copy of this book Direct from the Author, in exchange for my honest opinion and review )
Two worlds and one powerful girl Brianna at the center of them both. Fighting Light and Darkness. She just doesn't know it yet.
Brianna has a very ordinary life, surrounded by her loving family and two very best friends. But Bree starts having nightmares that plague her sleep. And a very large shadow man who appears out of the darkness. Bree begins to question her sanity; Especially when unexplainable magical things start happening. A simple happy normal life seems to feel like it's fading fast.
Drustan Bree's Guardian and Protector is on a mission to bring her home to restore the balance between light and dark. Drustan, however, doesn't take into consideration and never envisaged that Bree would not remember her old life, her Magic or Drustan himself. Now he must help her remember her past, protect her from the darkness and bring her home.
I found Myst a very enjoyable read. Stacie as created a steady paced magical read with everything you could want from such a genre. She gives you magic, Hunky Guardians; a strong loveable heroine, Dragons; Shadow Masters, action, and romance. It has everything.
Stacie is an entirely new Author to myself, and I am so glad she gave me this ARC. I have completely fallen in love with the world she as created along with Stacey's writing style.
The characters are well developed and grow nicely throughout the story. They are loveable with enough humor to keep you smiling.
I thoroughly recommend this read and personally can not wait for Book Two.
An enjoyable and fast paced read full of action, paranormal elements and romance. Well written story line with strong characters. This series is off to a great start.
Thank you to Stacie Wilson for providing me with a free e-copy in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
I read the prequel to Myst two years ago and loved it, so I had been looking forward to picking up where the prequel left off. I wanted to see what the characters would be like now that they had grown up and find out how Bree would get back to Myst and Drustan.
One of my favorite facets of this story was that Bree had no knowledge of Myst after growing up in the human world, yet that didn’t prevent elements from her Mystian childhood from sneaking into her life as she got closer to her 18th birthday, enough so that she begins to question her sanity. When Drustan appears to train her and take her back to Myst the pieces of the puzzle begin to fall into place for her. Nightmares of a shadowy man (super creepy, great character development there) and the unexplained glass and light bulb explosions also help in her acceptance of her not so normal status, despite a little rebellion, which I appreciated–can’t make it that easy of an adjustment. I enjoyed how much of her human world was actually tied into Myst, including to her older sister (who works at a museum, which having worked in them myself, I loved). I loved how much family support this book included as I feel not enough books have that if the parents are even present. That’s not to say all of her world is tied to Myst. Bree’s human friends were awesome.
Overall, this book was well written and well edited. It was a quick, one-sitting read that I easily lost myself in. While I love the fact that I did get lost in the book, at the end I felt that it was suddenly over. Not that it didn’t conclude or that I felt pushed off of a cliff, more in that I came away from reading it and my concurrent thought with how much I liked the book was ‘well, that was fast.’ I loved the build up to her finding out about her origins, that pacing was great, but after? I won’t go as far as to say it was rushed, more that I wanted…more. I would have liked to see more training, more one on one with Drustan, slightly more of a push to maintain control on Bree’s end. Maybe it’s because there wasn’t enough, maybe it’s because I enjoyed the book that much that I was sad it was over and these were elements that could have been expanded upon to enhance the already wonderful story even further. It’s been a few days since reading Myst, and I’m still not sure. Don’t be surprised if I end up rating this higher once I decide.
No matter that decision, I was thrilled to be back in Stacie Wilson’s fantasy world, and I already want more in the form of Book 2. This charmingly adventurous tale should definitely be on your TBR.
First thing that came into my mind when I saw Myst was - rip off from video game, but I was going to give the book a chance to prove itself wrong. I fully admit I was wrong! Instantly was drawn into the book after the first chapter and all I wanted to do was read to finish it. Curse you responsibilities and work for pulling me away from my passion.
The setting is beautifully described so you can imagine being there, the smells, touch, sight of the places. The characters wonderfully developed loving those that need it, hating the villain and wanting to slap the heroine to wake up, typical teenager! What she goes through and how she evolves was brilliant.
Downfall, leaves you with a horrible cliffhanger. At least we know the book is a series and not over yet! I cannot wait for the next book. ❤️⭐️❤️⭐️❤️⭐️❤️⭐️❤️⭐️
Ok.... So this one kept me up, and now I look like poo for work. Thanks Stacie!!
After I read the novella, I went straight into Book 1 and this is what I suggest for you. The novella fills in several gaps that you will need here.
Bree is a princess, but she doesn't know it. She has been sent to the Earth realm for her protection so that she can fulfill the prophesy that was foretold. Bree just wants to figure out what school to attend in the fall. The next thing she knows, she is battling dragons, shadow masters and her own heart. Being bonded to your Guardian is tougher than it looks. There are so many little twists that the story is not predictable and incredibly engaging. I love that Bree has such a large group in her support system. I also can't wait to read Book 2. Serious cliffhanger on this one! #BookHangover

I really like this world Stacie created. It took a a little bit to get to the action...but it still had me trying to read at every chance I got.
Bree is just teen girl living in the South thinking about what she's going to do after she graduates. She's been having these strange reoccurring nightmares about a shadowy figure. Bree has the weird tingly feeling one day and runs into this guy who says he's her guardian. (She thinks he's crazy of course.) Bree finds out she's not an ordinary teen girl at all...but a princess of Myst with extraordinary powers that will have her world. Can she fulfill the prophesy and defeat the Shadow Master?
This book was GREAT! Ahhh! Can't wait to read more!
A stunning cover caught my eye to begin with and I had no problem diving into this book. Full of fantasy, good vs evil action and some romance; this book easily catches my attention. I enjoyed the characters and their journey. I thought it was a little short though. The story moved fast which wasn't the problem there was just a lot of typical cliches that are found in ya fantasy that were used in this book. I was hoping for a more original idea but it was still enjoyable. The ending leaves off with anticipation for the next book. I'll probably be picking up the next book since I've come to enjoy reading the different characters and would love to see how it all turns out.
Brianna grew up in the human realm knowing nothing about her parents or her heritage. She thought her parents had died and she had been adopted. Then one day Drustan shows up claiming to be her Guardian. What will happen now, is he really her guardian or is he completely insane?
Stacie Wilson is a new to me author and one I will definitely be reading more of. I instantly fell in love with her characters as well as her writing style. This story completely blew me away and I cannot wait to see what will happen next with Brianna, Drustan and their crew. I highly recommend this book. Wonderful read!
Wow is a severe understatement!!!! Can I just say I want Drustan?!! Yowza!!!!! Ok drool fest over lol ;)....I believed in Bree's struggle and how all she wanted was just to be a normal average girl getting ready for college but instead has to battle all sorts of mythological creatures. Oh and did I mention that she is royal?! Wow!!! Talk about pressure.....yikes. Drustan is her protector who has his hands full trying, not only to protect but to help her regain her lost memories. No pressure there either..... I won't say anything more except, cliffhanger aside, I so am re-reading this book in anticipation for book two!!!!

Light and dark come head to head in one girl. She is deemed the most powerful because of this. You follow her and Drustan on a journey worth reading about.
I enjoyed this one a lot. I am anxious to read more by this author. I recommend you pick it up if you are one who loves to read about two different worlds and a battle within.
I, Amber McCarty ( Imaginative Dreams), was given a copy for an honest review.
Action, romance and fantasy; what's not to love? Myst has something for all book lovers. A fast paced, action packed ride; this debut novel from Stacie Wilson is a hit. Cannot wait for this saga to continue!
Magic is everywhere and this book is evidence! Stacie Wilson did an amazing job of creating such a magical world and the perfect characters to go with it. This is a definite must read!!!!! I'm dying to continue following Bree and Drustan's adventure.
If I ever get my hands on a version of this that is properly edited and not riddled with grammatical errors, I'd like to finish it. But I couldn't get past the off sentence structure and errors on every page. :( maybe will give another try eventually.
Stacie Wilson is author who is brand new to me. I love her writing style and I feel that this book was up my alley. When I first started the book I chuckled because my daughter's name is Brianna and its not a name you see much.
The girl in the book, Brianna doesn't know anything about her parents or where she comes from, never really knowing what happened to her parents. Then all of a sudden a guy named Drustan shows up and says that he is her guardian. I'm looking forward to see what happens next with everyone and see where the story goes.
