This was a pretty good book. Lula is an ex seal now working as a bodyguard for Alexandra. He's badness but holds to a moral code to protect her. Her father promised her to Fat Tony since he couldn't pay his gambling debts he sold his daughter. This was a first time reading this author this book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

This is a beautiful romantic story about Luka and Alexa. Alexa is a pawn that her father uses to pay his gambling debts the city’s local mobster. She tells her father how bad she has it with the mobster but her father doesn’t care, all he cares about is getting his debts wiped clean and running them back up then using his daughter to wipe them clean again. Soon Alexa learns she only has herself to depend on, no one else. The mobster is soon her fiancée and he appoints a bodyguard to “protect “her- more like make sure she can’t run away. Then that is when Alexa realizes things are going to soon blow up and she needs to get away and soon. The reason why= she and the bodyguard Luka met for the 1st time when she snuck out in a bar and if her “fiancée” finds out, he will kill him and god knows what he will do to Alexa.
Luka is a former Navy Seal who isn’t afraid of bullies—and he is determined to save Alexa from this mob guy but there is more twists and turns in this story that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The one that had me gasping and waiting to see what would eventually happen= the showdown between the mobster and Luka; loving the passion and angst between Alexa and Luka. The ending was beautiful and amazing. I cannot wait for more by this author. She writes such great stories and this is just one example.

The one that had me gasping and waiting to see what would eventually happen= the showdown between the mobster and Luka; loving the passion and angst between Alexa and Luka. The ending was beautiful and amazing. I cannot wait for more by this author. She writes such great stories and this is just one example.

Wonderful story of 2nd chances, mobsters, forbidden relationships and two people finding their strength. This story flows smoothly , has everything you want in a book, a romance. I loved how Alexa found herself and Luka found himself. This was a home-run! Thank you Alice May Bell, for giving me a copy to read and review for you !

This is my second book by Alice May Ball and I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed each one of them ,but I believe that they just keep getting better as they come. I believe that every book that Alice May Ball has some of the baddest guy's going ,but their also very hot and sexy. But there's one guy I really would like to see get his own story and I hope it comes "SOON" .Each character is amazing and makes the story flow smoothly ,and Alice May Ball has given us a story that will have you on the edge of your seat ,waiting to see whats going to happen next. This is a story about force engagement,forbidden love, and a secret pregnancy, and best of all mobsters. Alexa is engaged to a bad boy mobster who has hired Luka to protect his fiancee but Alexa is very suspicious about it. And Luka who's a former Navy Seal who's tough hard as brass, and won't give into any bullshit and bullied by anybody. But Alexa and Luka has a secret of their own ,they met one night in a bar,but if that secret gets out her fiancee will have his excuse to have her killed. Alexa just can't help the way Luka makes her feel ,and she just can't ignore what her heart is saying to her' There's one more secret that no one knows about and that is what she got at the pharmacy. The plot in this story is so well written that it will hold your attend with all the double cross drama ,kidnapping, and murder just adds to the emotions that sets the mood apart from everything else. But this such amazing story is the forbidden relationship . But the most important thing is can their both survive this ordeal or will they be killed? I could go on and tell you more about this touching story of force engagement and forbidden love ,but that would spoil it for you. I highly recommend that you read this touching story ,cause you won't be disappointed.

In this book we meet Luka and Alexa. Alexa is a girl that has been used to pay her fathers gambling debt to the local mobster. No matter what she tells her father about how bad it is with Tony her father doesn't care. Alexa learns real quickly that men can't be trusted and the only person she can depend on is herself. That is before she gets away from the bodyguard that Tony has assigned to her and meets Luka. She thinks this just might be the man to take care of her problem. However when she sees him the next day she isn't so sure. All she wanted was away from Tony but does Luka represent an even bigger problem than Tony ever was?
Luka has a hard fast rule 1 and done no matter how much a woman might beg or how much he was into it the night before. That is until she walked in. When Luka's eyes meet Alexa's he knows something is about to chance but all he can see is this beautiful woman that he just has to have. Little did he know not only would she turn him down but she would be his new job. When Luka learns that he is the new protector of Alexa he feels it like a blessing and a curse. He knows he can't touch her but his body wants her like no tomorrow. What happens when the temptation becomes to much and it makes the danger all the closer to home?
This book is amazing. It will be one of those books you will start and can't put down. Perfectly Damaged: Luka: A bad boy mafia romance was gifted to me in an ARC in exchanged for a honest review. I loved Luka and Alexa story. At first the book takes off a little slow but towards the middle it starts picking up a lot more. And by the end you are just so blown away I know I was. You read how poor Alexa got stuck with such an a**hole of a boyfriend and what a monster he is to her. But she is one strong girl and no matter what her situation is she still keeps fighting her way to happiness. I really loved her character because every chance she got for a little bit of freedom she took it that's how she first meets Luka was when she was finding sometime to herself. Of course it so happens they first meet at a bar I mean what woman wouldn't want to get drunk off there butts if they had to live the life that Alexa has. But when Luka first sees her he knows he has to have her what he doesn't know at that moment is that she going to be either the love of his life or the woman that gets him killed. If you want to find out if she becomes his downfall or his forever you have to checkout the book to see. I love this writer books she always gives her readers what we so need and enjoy, and we got exactly that and more in this yummy read.

WOW... I loved this book! It contained everything needed for a brilliant, hot and exciting story!

Alexa is engaged to Tony (a member of the 'Mafia Family') of whom she literally hates! He is abusive to her in everyway and she really wants to escape him but she can't! When he hires Luka as her bodyguard, it's not just his protection she wants!!!
Without giving away spoilers, i will just say that this is one hell of a story. Once i started i couldn't put it down! The electrical buzz between these two is off the charts... HOT!!!
They work as a perfect team in everyway, but can she change his 'man whore' ways? With them both dealing with the Mafia, is it too dangerous? Or will feelings continue to grow?
With plenty of twists and turns to keep you reading, you will fall for the characters more with each page you turn!!!
All in all a fantastic 5 star read and i for one, can't wait to see what Ms Ball comes up with next!!!

Not willing to let her get away from him Alexa fiancé hires Luka not having a clue that the new body guard and Alexa have already met. Luka is a strong courageous determined man. He's determined to save Alexa from her fiancé and father. With a so many secrets being kept things are bound to get a little crazy.
I really liked this book and was hooked from the first chapter. It's a story filled with secrets, passion and angst. It's full of twists and turns you won't see coming and will keep you in the edge of your seat. Luka is all alpha male and in a delema because he wants but can't touch Alexa without getting them both killed. Alexa though sees the man behind the front Luka puts up and she wants him just as badly. It's certainly a thrill ride to get to the happily ever after amd I loved every second of it.

This is the third book which I have read from this author, and I have to say that I am never disappointed. Her work just gets better and better.
This is an amazing story about a forbidden love. Alexa is engaged to a bad mobster, and Luka is hired to protect her. Unbeknown to others, these two have already met in a bar. This secret could get them both killed. This is a very well written book about love, emotions, kidnapping, abuse and murder.
The chemistry between these two is off the charts..... HOT, HOT, HOT!!!
Not giving spoilers but this is a must read, and so worth the 5 star review. Cannot wait to find out whose voice will be heard next. Awesome job Alice, and as always I cannot recommend your work enough.

Exciting, extreme, suspenseful, deception, love. This was a thrilling mafia story, that was a page turner. Luka is ex SEAL, he has been hired to protect Alexa, the property of a mob boss. Alexa was turned over to a mob boss as payment for her father's debts, she doesn't trust men, they have lied and hurt her. How is Luka going to be any different.
This story takes you through a life experience of Alexa finding her strength and trust in Luka, and Luka finding the one. This is an enjoyable read with great characters, the story builds upon itself to totally suck you in. This was another great read from this Author. I was given an ARC for my honest review.

I loved the book I really enjoyed it and so will you you need to read the book she's a great author the story is awesome Alexander was gave to Tony for a debt by her father Lula was her bodyguard they killed Tony Bruton showed up he was worst than Tony But Carmaine was for Lula Nd Alexander things get ruff she gets pregnant get put in charter schools the you will have to read the book to find out all the good stuff you will enjoy it as much as I did enjoy it gets real good Margie

Intense and Steamy right from the beginning.
A different take on inner workings of certain acquaintances. You have the regular Mafia, the Russian Mafia, the Cartel and a young woman with a ex Seal as a bodyguard. And by the authors description he's Hot.
Alexa is one cool level headed spunky young woman. You won't believe how she starts out in the book. Her character's growth is what makes the story i think.
Luka, the ex-Seal hottie, character is silent but very deadly. His past plays a important role you won't see at first so pay attention to his thoughts, lol.
Explosive sexual tension throughout the whole story with Luka and Alexa.
Mature readers 18+, Strong language and Explicit Sexual Situations.

Luka wanted his lady
This was some seriously unrequited passion here. He spent the whole story wanting her and suffering with some smurfy balls. She was a tough cookie being engaged to Tony; a mobster who was whacked by his boss. She feared being handed off to someone worse and rightfully so; these mob families will kill a snitch, female or no. Luka was hired to protect her. So imagine wanting the spoken for lady of another mobster. Tough spot huh? Well the author really resolved the problem well. Some good deaths had to happen in this story. Action packed. 💕💕💕💕

This is the first book by this author I’ve read. I love mafia books, but, this one I couldn’t really get into. The characters seem to stay in their own head besides talking to one another. In many of the sentences the dialogue says, he said, I said. I really tried but could not get into it. Kept thinking it would get better but it didn’t.

I loved it as I do all her books. Intense excitement, fun, mysterious, suspenseful and violence. He is tough as nails and very hot. She is excited, scared and very confused. Through in all the other additives and you have a very good story. It is edge of your seat reading. I highly recommend it. I was given a review copy and voluntarily review it.

I absolutely loved Alexa and Luna’s story. Danger, lies death and love, fill this book and completely captivated me. Action and suspense that kept me on the edge of my seat. I couldn’t put it down until the last word. I definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a great read

Ok I must say I read the first 3 books of this series and they read the same... all the alpha men were the one and done type and all the woman had balls but fell for the alphas same scenario different scenes so for me they fell flat but as I have to continue to read the series I hope it’s changes up

A good badboy romance with a little twist. It's not often that a writer does the storyline with this perspective but I find it a refreshing change that it's not the same old mafia badboy romance you usually come across. Well written.

This was a good story. At first I was a little confused with how it was written but I soon caught on. Luka sounds so yummy and hot. Alexa is one smart woman to be able to pull off what she did. Thank you for this wonderful story, I really enjoyed it.

Alice May Ball did it again, this book is a hot read. Luka has been betrayed by a senior officer. Alexa has been betrayed by men. Now Luka has been hired to protect Alexa, needless to say the fireworks go off. This story is a little complicated, but fun. You have Russians Mafia, Italian Mafia, threats, double crosses and a lot of fun. I could not put it down. My only complaint is I did not care for the ending. I would have liked a little clearer ending. Maybe Alice May Ball has an extended epilogue planned. Alice May Ball really knows how to write likable bad boys. You can't help rooting for Alexa and I love how she uses her instincts to her advantage. You can't help but like Alexa. Alexa and Luka are explosive together. If you like Alice May Ball in my opinion you will not be disappointed and is worth reading.
