The Hatchet Man's Playbook: The Insider's Guide to Office Politics and Corporate-Self Defense

Rate this book
The Hatchet Man's Playbook is a collection of amusing, sometimes chilling, anecdotes and advice about job hunting, layoffs, and corporate warfare. The information it dispenses is critical and non-obvious. If you have a job and are interested in keeping it, this book is indispensable reading. It's what they didn't teach you in B-school.

I thought this book was very well written and the advice presented indispensable. I have lived through some of what he's talking about and learned those lessons the hard way but still learned a lot of new information. It was hard to put down. Highly, highly recommended to anyone in the workforce.

Very conspiratorial point of view but true.

It can be read in one day.
