The Crawlspace

Rate this book
Ira Wattenberg had one last job to do before he could leave the apartment complex and head home for the day. The manager wanted him to crawl underneath Building B and spray the area for bugs. Ira didn't like going into the crawlspace of the building. It gave him the heebie-jeebies. Today, however, was going to be far worse because there was something waiting for him in the darkness...something hungry. A short story.

Unless you've actually been in the crawlspace under a house, you can't truly appreciate just how terrifying this story is. I've been there - and I can tell you that Wayne brought back every horrible memory in just a few pages.

The best horror stories are relatable - and this story fits the bill.

I do have to say that I would have liked to know what it was that grabbed Ira's leg, but maybe that's for another story.
