Sergeant Kyle Erickson was Honorably discharged and awarded the Purple Heart. It had been two long years since his deployment to Afghanistan. A land of hot sand, where life is cheap and death is exalted. All that kept him going was knowing that his beautiful wife and daughter waited for him at home. Finally the day had come. He boarded the Boeing 777 that would take him to Chicago. From there, a short connecting flight would bring him into the arms of those he loved. Kyle arrived in Chicago, but it was there where he missed his connecting flight, and it was there- where he disappeared.
