Ruth wants to get married and have a family of her own. The only problem is, there is no potential suitor and she feels she is condemned to being single and working for her sister.
One day while delivering crafts to Beiler's, she meets this intriguing young man Joseph. He's her friend Katie’s brother who had been away for two years. The usually shy Ruth finds it easy to be around Joseph and suddenly the possibilities of what could be come into her mind.
