She’s never bowed to anyone, but he’s determined to have her on her knees.

Kara Hart has lusted over Drago Arrington, a ripped and powerful dragon shifter, since he first looked down on her from his throne. With a war brewing, she chose to battle against his kind. That meant staying away from the one man dominating her every desire - even though it’s left her completely at his mercy. When Drago has a chance to have this strong-willed spitfire’s complete submission, he makes her a deal she can’t refuse. Kara caves to the dark temptation warring within her and attempts to play a role she’s never dared to fantasize before.

Little does she know this contract is very much one sided. Drago needs an heir and he’s convinced Kara will give him exactly what he craves. It only takes one taste for him to realize she’s the greatest treasure he’s ever owned; he’s not letting her go.

When the sparks kindling between them ignites to flames, will Kara realize she’s playing with fire? Or will her struggle only end with her being the one to get burned?

This novel contains a dominating dragon shifter that’s just as hot as he is protective. Guaranteed happily ever after.

This book is a standalone, but features characters from the entire Shifters of Shadow Falls series.

Dragon heat
Crystal L Shaw

I received a free copy for my honest opinion.
The last 3 existing Dragons (Drago-Galen-Cyrus)
In this story we learn about The 3 dragons & their dream one day finding their mates, & the possibility of having dragonlings ….. So when Victor approached them with proposal & told them about possible female that could be used for breeding their dragonlings… You can just image what they would risk for the possibility of having dragonlings, even if it meant starting war
Kara is a girl who has lived in fear her whole from shapeshifters, so when she is given to the dragons as gift, half staved & dirty.. She was willing fight for her freedom
Drago is over 200 years old & hasn’t bedded a female in years….. so when one of the females Victor brought as gift draw him to her ,and Drago realizes she was in heat , he quickly realize he wants her for himself … Drago wants Kara as his Mate even if she can’t give him dragonlings
This story tells us history of dragons perusing, but most important it’s story how to learn to trust your heart…. Ms Shaw never forget to give some very Hot screen’s

As usual Ms Shaw give us sneak peek of her upcoming book in this Series
Dragon spell
Isabella faye has been kidnap from Alec & he seems to be going completely mad over his fact… I am wondering which of the brother will be next in this series Galen or Cyrus? Hopefully we don’t have wait long to find out

I am loving the Shifters of Shadow Falls world, while this book can be read as a standalone I truly feel to get the most out of it you will want to read the entire series in order. I love that you can bounce back and forth with series and standalone but since some characters from the books prior to this one are mentioned in this you will want to know their background as well. That being said, you can not go wrong with this book if you enjoy a good Dragon Shifter story.

Drago and his brothers are living a sheltered life in their castle but with everything going on in Shadow Falls their peace is starting to look like its a thing of the past. Each of the brothers need an heir to carry on their breed but since none of them have a mate its not looking good. But when Kara is brought to the castle Drago feels the pull of his mate, even though she is human if she is strong enough and a true mate she will produce and heir. Does she feel it too? Will this interspecies relationship work out? Will the Dom in Drago be to much for Kara to handle? All of those questions will be answered along with many others in this hot little read.

Dragon's Heat (Shifters of Shadow Falls, #6) by Crystal L. Shaw

I cannot wait for Isabella and Galen's story in Dragon's Spell, I really hope it will be out soon because I have sooooo many questions that need to be answered about these two!

Crystal Shaw's wolves, vamps and sorcerers have now introduced us to dragon enforcers. Triplets who look very much alike, all gorgeous with different, but still arrogant personalities. Drago is the first to "pounce" when Victor brings gifts and information to entice the dragons into siding with him for the war that seems in the offing. He ignores the first two slaves however, while they are all gaunt and ill used he is drawn to Tara.

That is the beginning of a difficult relationship. All the dragons want and have almost given up hope of finding a human to breed with, to continue their line. They are the last dragons alive. While Tara may be weak and half starved, she still stands up to the powerful dragon shifter. Their battle for love is often touching but always hot.

If Tara could love him, what does he want with her? How long will he keep her and then where will she be? Drago knows more about her than he is willing to share with his brothers. Or does he? How will they react to her? Will they support him or make it more difficult for him? And what of the woman who was said to be a breeder that was the original bribe from the Vampire. Will they find her and will she provide the young they want? If so, for which brother.

Ms Shaw answers some questions but poses even more in the epilogue. Can't wait for the next book. Each book, does provide the full story for the couple, however there is an ongoing story from the series. I can't wait for the next. I was provided an Author Preview for an honest review.

DRAGO IS A DRAGON SHIFTER AND KARA IS A HUMAN! WILL THEY HAVE THEIR HEA?

Crystal L. Shaw is an author that a while back asked me to review her book “Taken by the Werewolves” for an honest review. Well it was the second book in the series so I got the first one, so that I would know more about what I was reading about. I have been reading and reviewing her books ever since. The reason is she is a very good author and I happen to like her work. She all the elements in “Dragon’s Heat” that I would look for in order to rate it and give a good review. She has awesome characters and a story line that works with those characters, even the minor characters. She grabs your attention at the beginning of the book and holds it till the very end of the book. I could not put the book down. I love books that are a series, even though the books are considered standalone novels, they will mention characters or use characters from the other books in the series. I also will look for certain things in the book that will tell me that book works, and that the author did exactly what she was supposed to do. Make me want MORE! Plus, the hunk on the cover doesn’t hurt either! I loved this book, and even though on couple had a happy ending, there was a part that was left as cliff hanger. A definite must read. Will understand book better if you start at the beginning with “Offered to the Werewolves.” Book is recommended for mature readers 18 years and older because of SEX scenes!!

Drago Arrington is a 200-year-old dragon shifter who lives in a castle full of wealth with his two brothers Galen, and Cryus. They are the last of their kind. Nobody actually sees them unless invited or they work for them. Even though he has all the treasures he could want Drago is wanting more. He is wanting a mate, and dragon lings. Victor the sorcerer wants to see if he can sway the Arrington Brothers to his side and fight for him. That way he would be ensured victory over the other creatures of the night that wouldn’t fight with him. Only thing is the dragons are not sure that Victor is being 100 percent truthful with them. Wanting to make the dragons believe him he tells them about the woman he says Alec is hiding from them. That she is capable of carrying many sons and daughters for them, and her name is Isabelle Faye. So on his way out Victor tells the dragon’s that he has a gift for them. He gives them three women. The dragons already have more treasure than they know what to do with. But Victor has left them 3 girls. Once is named Kara and Drago has a weird feeling about her and once he walks to her, he can tell she is in heat. This gives him hope that maybe she would be able to have dragonlings for him. But there is another attachment he feels for her too. She has been abused and starved, and he just wants to take care of her. So he tells his brother Galen he can Isabella that Alec from the authority is hiding form them, and he was taking Kara. He took Kara from the room before the brothers realized she was in heat.

Kara Hart is given to dragon as the third gift. She is cut, bleeding and hurt. Drago was very upset of this and for the fact that she was very underweight and had been starved as well as abused. Kara could not help but to lust after Drago Arrington. He had a body that with ripped abs, and was very easy on the eyes. She had decided to fight against the shifters in the war that is brewing, yet Drago is the very man who can give her, her every desire, and he had her completely at his mercy. She wants to leave but Drago informs her that she is his treasure, and therefore making him her DOM. Once he finally gets Kara to submit to him he makes her a deal that she cannot refuse. Kara liking how Drago made her feel gives in to the dark temptation and attempts to play the role of his “pet”. This is a role she never dared to fantasize about.

Drago didn’t tell Kara that the contract between was actually one sided. He is desperate to have an heir and he is sure that Kara is the one person to give it to him. Then he has to taste her, his will power is gone, and now he realizes that she is the greatest treasure he will ever own, and he not letting her go. When Galen lets a secret slip in front of Kara sparks begin to ignite between her and Drago.

Will she realize that she is playing with fire? Or will her struggle with what she wants get her burned? Will Drago win her over again, or will he lose her forever?

No Spoilers. This is a book that you really need to read. ARC free book given in exchange for honest review.

Omg omg omg this book is hot...excuse the pun ;-) the dragon shifters are damn hot, Drago Galen, and Cyrus dragon brothers who are almost at the end of there bloodline...there existence and with no female dragon shifters there goal is to find human female who can heat and carry there young but things are not good ....human females cannot carry dragonlings, well not to the Dragon brothers knowledge. Then along comes Victor Wade a sorcerer, Victor brings news there is a human able to carry there young, Bella but she is being held by the Authority , Alec to be precise and Victor who is working with the vampires tell the brothers what he knows about her but before he leaves he has a gift for the brothers, with all the riches they could possible need why would they need more. Cue three woman...slaves to be exact to which the brothers are not to bothered with but after a brief introduction 1 of the three woman who holds her self high and tells the dragons she rather die than be there slave is lashed by a whip and falls to the floor. Drago is angry and he sends fire across the man who dragged her in the room killing him... Leaving a pile of ash and Victor and the other man making a hasty retreat Drago offers his hand to help her from the floor and that is when he's hit with her heat, there's no denying it she's in heat and with his brothers obviously taken up with the the thought of Bella have to noticed. Drago has found his mate but will she accept him? Can Kara really feel for the dragon? Will she bare his children? This book is brilliant a great follow on :-) . I received this book ARC and I'm so plzd I did Thankyou

A continuation of a great world

So hopefully this isn't your first book by this author. If it is I'm sternly advising you read ALL the others leading up to this one. It will be well worth it.
What can I say....it was fantastic. I love how the author kept them wanting tradition but also longing for more. I would have loved some deeper back story into the purge.
Kara - man I want that girls back story. Maybe it will come out but I love how guarded she was and conflicted with emotions of love and needing to be true to self.
Drago - he is portrayed as wise and strong. I love how he gains more compassion as Kara comes along. The realizations he makes along the way show his growth and ability to change.
Alec and Isabella - seriously I feel like it's the epic love story to end all!!! I love the foreshadowing for the war. I have my hypothesis but I'll keep my mouth shut till the next story

Dragons heat

This book melted my heart. Dragon and Kara must find a way to trust and love each other completely but that doesn't come easy. Bella and Alec are so much in love that it hurts but when the dragons take her, he vows to get her back. Drago and his brothers must find a away to secure their bloodline and have children.

This Author is quickly becoming one of my favorites. The storyline and characters are so full of life and love that you will find yourself submerged in their stories.

Kara has the will and spirit of a strong woman and Drago the spirit and will of one of the three remaining dragons. I enjoyed the combination of romance and intrigue. What bothered me was the sudden shift of this series to the dragons, from concentrating on the war within the authority. I understand the connection, but this reads like a total another series with connections to Shadow Falls made just so it fits into the series.

Just ok. Although I enjoyed Drago and Treasure (ridiculous), there should have been more to this book. Certainly not what I expected. I mean what happened to Victor? Who was the father to their niece? What happened to the war, vampires and Authority? Legitimate questions not addressed in this book. Ridiculous! If there's another book, I will not be reading it. Did I mention the terrible editing? Ahhhhh!

ARC REVIEW

Dragon's Heat is part of Crystal L. Shaw's Shifters of Shadow Falls universe. It is the first of the Dragon story arc following the last three dragon shifters alive finding their mates. The underlining problems with the rebel vampires trying to overthrow The Assembly are not very prevalent in the story the man Protagonist is there and he does play an important part, but was looking forward to finding out more about it and whats going on. Instead I get a dragon shifter who says he's only playing at the Dom role so his brothers won't think he's too attached to the little mortal and not assume she's mate potential; but at every chance he gets even in the privacy of his room he is very very Dom. She calls red to stop the role playing during an argument but he still does it. Make up your mind.

The rebel vampires are trying to win over the remaining dragon shifters to there side. The Arrington Brothers couldn't care less about their politics what piqued their interest was the mention of possible mates that The Assembly is keeping in their possession. Drago is interested his biological clock is ticking and he wants to settle down and have little baby dragons of his own. He's all for raiding The Assembly until the vampires bring in another gift of slaves and one of them is a potential mate. Drago snags her up before his brothers notice and wants to claim her before they can. Kara has known nothing but cruelty her whole life and the attentions of the dragon shifter is a little more than she's prepared for. Deep down in her heart she knows she can trust him but from past experiences her brain is warning her to be cautious. She is willing to play along with his Dom/sub role playing if it will keep his brothers away from her she even likes it bit. Drago has kept his true intentions from her and when she finds out that betrayal of trust can ruin everything for them.

Overall, I look forward to see where this is going with the other brothers especially how it left off, but this one lacked something I think once all three are out it will make for a better story being able to read all three straight through.

While this book is a standalone, it is part of a larger series, Shifters of Shadow Falls. This was my first time reading one of Crystal L. Shaw’s books that I received in exchange for an honest review. It will not be my last. Anyone who reads my reviews knows that I tend to favor PNR series. I think that I will be adding this new one to my collection.

While there is much that I have missed within this series, I can tell you that this story has pulled me in. Initially, I was a bit confused as to who the story was going to be about because it’s stars off with Alec and Isabella and a premonition from a seer that she would be taken but it didn’t really say by whom. (I think that this may have been alluded to from a previous story. However, this is the story of Dragos and Kara. Dragos is one of the last 3 dragon brothers that yearn for a mate. When duplicitous sorcerer Victor shows up asking for aid in an upcoming war, he brings 3 emaciated, abused women with him to offer to the brothers as slaves or servants of some sort. The last of the three women is Kara and she has a great deal of fire in her spirit. This catches Dragos’ attention because for a woman to be impregnated and carry a dragon’s offspring, she has to have a sufficient heat within her. While Victor mentions another possible mate for the dragons, Dragos has decided that Kara is the one he wants and had lost his interest in this new potential mate. He heals her body and her soothes her mind even though she doesn’t trust him because she’s not used to people being nice to her. Eventually, she comes to inadvertently learn the full truth behind why Dragos wants to keep her and feels the need to flee. While Dragos can be stern, as dominant men are, I think he sometimes over-thinks, because he’s used to not being questioned. For her, he learns patience and eventually, they have their HEA although I don’t know how long it will be based on the prologue and the preview at the end of the story but I will catch up and read so that I know who all the players are and understand what their places are within the full story itself.

Insane and smoking hot. This book is steamy and so hot. Three dragon shifters Drago, Galen and Cyrus are at the end of their blood line and if they die so does the dragon shifters as they are the last of their kin. Willing to do any think to produce dragonlines even the extreme. This is a short story but is fast paced. Beware of addiction and hopeless to put the story down.

Drago is hot, he has a temper and is bored in his own kingdom. With to much treasure and nothing to do Drago wants the one thing he can't have. And thats a women who will heat for him. His strong, his loyal and what is his he refuse to return. Beware ~Drago has a thing for burning people. Dirty mouthed but underneath the brute is a caring and kind man who wants a family to call his own. I loved his character and how their was different sides to him.

Kara hates the supernatural as she has been put through hell and been back. Willing to starve herself to prevent being hurt. Kara don't trust nor does she take orders from any one. Shes stubborn and has a fiery spirt. Kara only wish to be free. Never has she had room to want or desire any thing until meeting the Drago.

Sparks fly between them and the attraction is sizzling. Its only a matter of time before one of the gives in. With Drago desperate for a child and Kara wanting to know why he chose her. Some answering are misunderstood and some should of been told sooner rather then later.

With Victor and the war raging its only time until is arrives at their door. With choices and decisions to be made. Kara must choice between her heart and her head. While Drago must choose between his love for Kara or wanting a dragonling.

This book is intense and hot. I loved it I can be read in a stand alone but i would advise you read from book one. As this series is amazing.

Received as ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Crystal L. Shaw's Dragon's Heat is full of alpha males. What could be better than a Sexy, Hot Alpha Dragon?? How about three amazingly hot dragon brothers. The last known dragons alive are Drago, Galen and Cyrus. Brothers that live and rule together. Drago's is the oldest than Galen and finally Cyrus is the youngest but over a decade. All the other dragons were lost in the Purge years ago. If the brothers can't find a human or shifter female that can successfully carry their dragonlings, dragons will become extinct upon their deaths. Drago and Galen are disparate to find a mate they are feeling their age and want to settle down. Cyrus refuses to even entertain the thought they can find a mate. In Dragon's Heat the brothers are asked by a sorcerer to fight in a war against the Authority. In exchange for their help he tells them potential mates are being held against their will by the Authority. He then gives them three slave women as an offering for agreeing to meet with him.
Drago is the first to find a potential. He has his work cut out for him. Kara has lived a difficult life. She was kidnapped by vampires and forced against her will to submit to them. She doesn't trust anyone let alone a shifter. She has no desire to be someone's pet. But can she be someone's treasure? Their journey to find their future is full of interesting twist and turns. Who will end up being the Dom....who will Submit? Ms. Shaw has done a wonderful job of bringing a little "play" into her story. Her ability to describe the essence of their relationship is perfect.

Are you sure there is not a button for more than 5 stars, as this book deserves them! I loved it, I thought the last books were good, but WOW, this one was wonderful. I fell in love with Drago instantly and the fact that he was a Dom didn't hurt, no pun intended. He was absolutely amazing and everything a male lead should be, strong, caring and thoughtful. I have always been in two minds with dragon shifters and can never really make up my mind if I like them or not, I have read them before but have not been fully converted. until now. I cannot wait to read the other brothers stories, which I strongly hope their books will be soon as I am very impatient and I am desperate to find out what happens next in their lives.
Kara was also a really likeable character, understandably she didn't just roll over for Drago when she met him, especially after everything that she has been through, but not surprisingly it doesn't take long for her to give in to his charms considering how wonderfully he treats her.
This book had me completely enthralled, and has to be my favourite in the series so far, even though I have loved all the books in this series and cannot fault any of them. This is an absolutely stunning series and Crystal, who I hadn't read before, is quickly becoming one of my favourite authors.
It goes without saying that I would recommend this book, however to get the most from it, even though it can be read as a standalone, to get the most enjoyment I would advise that you read the other books in the series first. You won't be disappointed, it is a real treat!

Drago, Galen & Cyrus are dragon shifters facing the end of their bloodline. There are few female dragons and mating with general humans will not result in pregnancy. However, there are rare females which can be impregnated and keep the babies to term.

When Victor Wade, creepy, make-your-skin-crawl-sorcerer turns up at their keep he brings the brothers 3 female slaves, thinking that will endear him to the dragons. They are fearsome warriors but they are not slave-owners!!!! But when Victor tells them of a female being held by the Authority who can carry dragonlings, they accept the females to rescue them from his clutches. But when Drago approaches one, he feels the flame of heat. One of these girls may be his mate. He quickly makes off with her but not before telling his brothers that the female under the Authority's jurisdiction may be theirs.

Kara thinks her life may actually come to an end. She has been fearful for so many years. Now Victor has killed her friend and passed her off to these damn dragons! She is not going to lie down meekly to her fate. After being whisked away by Drago she learns that he wants to breed with her, surely that's just as bad as being his slave?

Kara and Drago sure didn't have things easy. They may have got intimate quickly but the path to their HEA is not a smooth one. I had to laugh when the Drago's brothers return with their cargo of females! What away to carry people off!! Good read, quick paced with a good sprinkle of humour.

drago had been restless for a while, decades even. when, together with his brothers, he's presented with a the "offer" of slaves, one of them catches his interest right away. when he steps closer she has his dragon in a fits. the state she's in has him, dragon and man, on the verge of breaking out and killing the human who presented the women to his and his brothers as a piece offering.
drago has only eyes for her and before his brothers could get closer and figure out why he was interested he whisked her up and away to his private room.
kara was terrified of the dragonshifter. captured and forced to be a slave, she saw no other way out as to start starving herself, but even that wasn't enough to avoid her final chapter. what she didn't imagine was this shifter actually taking in the state she was in and wanting to take care of her. everything he says and does only comforts her, making it harder for her to hate him. when he makes her an offer she can hardly refuse she's lost with what to do. but the quick attraction that is growing between them is also overruling her mind.
will drago and kara find common ground to make the best of their situation or will both have to dig a bit deeper and confront their emotions.
i really enjoyed reading the story of these two. the "other" story that goes through the series as a red line is moving forward step by step. i only started this series late and started with this book (rest will follow!) and it wasn't hard to pick up on this story line and intrigues.

Drago one of the last dragon shifters longs for family and for a mate. But being one of only three dragons left in the world could prove to be a problem. That is until he and his brothers take a meeting with Victor. While the sorcerer attempt to entice the dragons to side with his cause against the Authority, something that doesn't really interest the dragons just yet. It his parting gift of slave women that get Drago's attention, especially the last offering woman name Kara. When Drago Kay's eyes on her the instant feelings of protection and having found his true mate race to the surface. Could she be the one to give him the family he desires?

Kara is a mere human and has accepted that shifters are cruel. After being kidnapped by the vampires to be used as a blood cow for their needs, she is distrustful of all shifters. So why does she feel such a strong attraction to Drago? He is nothing but nice and charming, oh and extremely sexy. But can he be trusted? And what does he really want from her?

In this book we don't see many of the characters from the previous books. The connection to them isn't there, but the building up of the storyline of war is clear. I enjoyed how this story focused on additional facets of the on coming battle. While the focus was on Drago and Kara, the details while minimal on other characters will be important for future stories. Can't wait for the next installment.

I received this for a honest review. The thing I love about dragon shifter books is the possession they have for the treasure they find. This was such a great story. It was about family, brotherly love, and about how you learn what is more important in life.

When I first started this book I thought the story was going to be center around Isabella and Alec but as I read I learned it was more about Kara and Drago. Drago was one of the 3 brother dragon shifters. At first he was looking forward in retrieving Isabella but when his dragon scented Kara he felt a special pull to her. More than the heat pull he was feeling.

It took a very special woman to be pregnant by a dragon. There was very few if any women left that were strong enough. When Drago has scented Kara’s heat he was hoping that she was the one. He so long to have baby dragons running around.

Drago will be faced to make a chose. If Kara is pregnant then he will have to choose if he will want to force her to stay. If she does not get pregnant he will have to choose what he really wants in life. Does he want love or a woman that can bear his young? How will Kara feel when she finds out that he is keeping the fact she is in heat from her?

This was a great story and don’t worry he is a HEA type of story.

I received an ARC copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

I was anticipating this story because of the preview in the last book of this series. I liked the feel of this book. My attention was grabbed from the beginning and my curiosity is still flaming. I want the next book now. I stand by my belief that the writing along with this series gets better and better as each book is written. I liked Drago and Kara. I liked their flaws and their redeeming qualities. I liked their connection and how well they fit together. I liked the relationship that the brothers have and even the respect that the others in the house have for the dragon brothers.

This is an easy read. It does have language and very adult situations. Drago attempts to be Kara's Dom, but at times I wondered. His compassion for her was endearing and his desires were sweet. I couldn't blame Kara for her reactions. I liked her fight, despite her hopeless beginning.

I was hoping to have more of Alec and Isabella, but hopefully more about them will be unveiled in the next book.

I think this book is classified correctly. Give Crystal Shaw's creation a chance and be sucked into the world of Shifters of Shadow Falls.

This is, I believe, the first of Ms. Shaw's books that I have had the privilege of reading, and I can honestly say, I hope it is not the last. She certainly has cranked up the heat level with this book, giving us one fine hunk of dragon in Drago, and one fiesty ball of fire in Kara. She has also given us a sneak peak at Galen and Cyrus, brothers of Drago, who are the last three remaining dragons in the world. I won't get into the synopsis, as I believe the book's description does a wonderful job, but I would like to stress that this book is HOT! Did I mention the fine hunk of dragon? What I wouldn't do to have a fire breathing, healing hot hunk of dragon to call my mate.
This book is well written and will have you burning with desire almost from page one, right through to the end, at which point, drooling for the next episode in the saga. My only question is...which brother will we have the pleasure of drooling over next? And, who does Cady belong to? With so much to look forward to, I hope the wait isn't too long.

This story has a few storylines going on.
One takes place at the estate of the authority.
I am guessing it's run by wizards. Alec a wizard was told an enemy would take is love from him so he keeps Isabella locked up to keep her safe.
The main story takes place at Castle of silver Isle were 3 dragon lords live. It seems they are the last if their kind but they want mates and gave a family. So far it hasn't happened. An evil sorcerer by the name of Victor is starting a war against Authority and tells them about Isabella and how she can carry dragon baby's and is being kept from the dragons by Alec because she us one of the dragons mates. Victor brings slaves as gifts for the dragons and it angers them. They don't keep slaves they keep willing servers but one of the women sparks Drago's interest. She might just be his mate.
This story has lots going on it had a mix of action and interesting characters.

Little warning there is a Dom and sub relationship to Drago and Kara's story
If your a shifter fan and like Dom and sub play this is your story. I am looking forward to the next book Dragon's spell.
Book given for an honest review, it held my interest, lots of spice and mystery

Who are Alec and Bella? What are they to one another? Where is Bella going to be going? What is Alec trying to stop? Who is going to take Bella? What happens in Alec's office at that exchange of discussion of what will happen? Who or what are Drago, Cyrus and Galen? When a sorcerer comes to see him, with two lackeys and another man who wields a spell whip, what 'gift' does he leave for the three men? I was not sure what exactly to expect with this book, and was very surprised. Shifter, BDSM, Love, Hate, Kidnapping, Life and possibly Death all rolled into one book. It was a very erotic read between Drago and Kara. The whole reason for Drago, Cyrus, and Galen working to find these women is an interesting one. What is the Authority? What do the vampires have to do with all of it? While I don't want to say too much about the book, I love the HEA, and I look forward to reading more of Crystal's writing in this series!

Notice: This is my first book from this author, didn’t know the Shifters of Shadow Falls universe until now.

I have to be honest: Dragons? I didn’t find them attractive for a shifter tale…. How wrong was I? – Deadly, ancient, powerful, mythical and shirtless man… Perfection!

I love shifter tales and this one delighted me.

There are three brothers, dragon shifter’s, they are very similar in looks and very different in personality: Drago, Galen and Cyrus. The 3 Dragons grow on you, even though the attention goes to Drago, the older one, you get to know a bit about the other two.
Kara is a strong woman who's been through a lot of bad things, but she survived, that’s the important thing for her.

Drago and Kara's relationship has a hateful beginning, but eventually you can’t help - just like Kara - fall in love with Drago.

We are all used to know that dragons love gold and be surrounded by its wealth, the fact that Drago nicknamed her his little “treasure” says a lot.

I loved it!

My advice: READ IT!

Draco and his brothers are very powerful and they have a meeting with the sorcerer Victor. He wants to take down the Authority and he promise Alec is keeping away from a mate that is mere human with a strong line of breeders. He tell them Alec is keeping her as a prisoner and she unclaimed. That spikes their interest since their the only dragons left after the purge. Victor leaves him with a parting gift of slaves and one he is drained to from the moment he lays eyes on her.
Kara was looking for her friend that are missing and in the process gets capture her self. Now she's a slave that would rather die than live life like this. Victor gives her to the dragons and she scared, but she finds her self feeling safe with him and she don't know why. He's done more for her than anyone else in her life and it scares her to death. She doesn't know if she can trust him with her heart. Will she be able to take a chance on love or just leave and be on the safe side? Will they Go to war with Victor or walk away?
