This is the complete series by best-selling Amish romance author, Emma Schwartz.
All Emma Schwartz's Amish Romance books are clean and wholesome.
When your heart has been broken, how do you go about picking up the pieces? The Amish Twins by Emma Schwartz was very well written and once I picked it up it was hard to put it down. Seem like you can feel Eli's hurt from marrying a woman he did not love and Sarah's pain at the loss of her baby and he abusive husband. Even though they all were childhood friends, life throws you curve balls you don't think you will ever get over. Trusting God is the only thing to pull them through it.
Sarah and Eli both carry guilt over their previous marriages, each one ending in the death of their spouse.
We keep hearing about a secret, what's the secret?! You have to wait. I really think it would have been better to know sooner in the story so that I could have really understood where both characters were coming from. Before you know the big secret Sarah just seems whiny and stubborn and Eli just looks like a jerk.
Bringing the twins into the story was heartbreaking.
A bit different story with twins being abandoned. Young widow Sarah becomes the twins guardians. Her childhood best friend and love oh her life stops by to check on her and help out. Several scenes are not typical Amish so not sure I appreciated them but all in all a good book
I love reading about ways of the people and how they try to stay with God's word and ways. About the twins, I was a twin and naturally that caught my attention. The love the twins were given and the care from person. And then people started to recover from tragedies and renew their relations.
This was a very good read.It was well written and storyline was good. It was a couple both dealing with the death of there partners who were all friends growing up. There was a lot of emotions as they each had married the wrong partner. There is a lot love and misunderstanding. You won't want to put it down until you finish. Definitely 5 star.
This book was about loving one person and marrying another person hoping to change a life, and losing the love of your life.Circumstances bring the two loved ones back together and after a rocky start they we able to get back together.
Two babies to love. What a blessing. Who cares how you became their mamma, just that they are yours -a gift from God. God is always giving gifts if we allow Him to. Our loving God makes Him happy.
Such a heart wrenching, soul gripping story of love lost, mistaken beliefs and self doubt. This is a short story and sets the stage for second chances throughout the series ~
So much tragedy for one family. Now, finding the abandoned twin babies on their porch brings quite the mystery to Sarah and Miriam Martin and the Amish community of Pride, Ohio. This story is full of tragedy, family life, mystery, romance and joy.
Book is totally unrealistic and immature, reads like a 12 year old has written it. Repetition of the same scenario makes book so boring it's impossible to finish because you know the ending after the first chapter.
A very interesting story. Levi should have been able to tell why he left his home so suddenly and married someone else. Things would have turned so differently from the beginning.
This was a very well written book outlining the Amish life style. In today's stressful world it is so comforting to be able to step away and into the blessed kind of simple life we all long for.
I love reading Amish stories. This one has me in tears. I'm so glad Eli came to his senses. Sarah deserved happiness and so did he. I can't wait for the next book.
This was the most boring book I have ever tried to read. I couldn't make it through. I usually like Amish books but too wordy and also-paced. Also very predictable.
