I found this book to be exactly what I was looking for at the time -- a great, hands-on introduction to the tools provided in Kali Linux, and soem of the ancillary tools that aren't provided. The tutorials were on point, most of it seemed to work as expected.

If I had anything negative to add, the book wasn't completely in order (what is order?), that is, I found myself revisiting topics I had already visited. Perhaps this was intentional, to give your brain a break from a topic before diving deeper in a later chapter. I guess this is about personal preference, I think I work better on a continual deep dive.

I took a pretty good set of notes that I'll use while I continue to familiarize myself with the tools. I suspect that I won't refer back to it much once the tools are hard-coded in my brain.

Definitely learned a few things within this book that will help me on my way to becoming a penetration tester.

This book is for anyone that needs and wants a solid foundation within Kali Linux. This is for somebody that wants to go into the Cyber security field.
