The Temp
The Temp, is a chick-lit novel about a ditsy young women, struggling to find a job that she feels suited to. She is in her mid-twenties, lives in an English village and is a modern, career driven woman. Jessica Baxter is ready to start her dream career. Unfortunately, she has no idea what her dream career actually is. Working for a temp agency is a great way of trying out a few different things before finding something she is perfectly suited to. It's really not her fault that things seem to go disastrously wrong at every turn! She always has her heart in the right place and decides to help get her neighbour's marital affairs in order, despite being so busy with climbing the career ladder and so on. Her neighbours don’t actually know anything about her marriage fixing sideline but it's the thought that counts.... right?
