Great read for those who love C# -- Intermediate to Advanced Users

I consider myself well versed in C# and it is my favorite language. To keep challenging myself, I like to read books from time to time so I don't grow arrogant. This book humbled me (which is a good thing!) If you like C# and swimming in the deep end, highly recommended! If you are newer to the language, I would start with something lighter. Impressive writing. Definitely a long read, but well worth it.

Had a blast...
This book was one of the best resource which helped me take over the language, it's fairly updated (also another edition is around the corner), so helps to cop-up with new language features, it's quite lengthy but it's worth it and it provides thorough understanding of most features. It certainly isn't a book for beginners but once you are familiar with basics of language and OOP, this book will take your skills to the next level.

Well, if the purpose of reading this book is to find out what's new in version 6 it will be a pain in the... neck. Roughly 2% (estimation made by heart. i.e. guessing) are the new features.

If this is the first touch to the language and you are patient enough to read more than 1000 pages, you'll get an idea what is in the box. might be used also as a reference.

The cover and the binding says "C# 6.0 In A Nutshell: The Definitive Reference Joseph Albahari". The back cover says "With C# by Joe Mayo..." The book does not have page numbers. After the table of contents it starts with "Welcome to C# Succinctly." ISBN 9781548844721.
The cover title makes me think it was an O'Reilly book "C# 7.0 in a Nutshell by Joseph Albahari" ISBN 9781491987650. Confusing.
