“I hope this doesnae alarm ye,” he said, “but a verra, verra long while ago, I would have been considerably more interested in the gems around yer neck than in yer kisses.”
“My kisses?” The sparkle in her eyes and the roses on her cheeks led him to believe she had missed his confession altogether. “And now?”
He stared at her lips outright until he was certain she knew the answer. Then he replied anyway. “The only gems I see are on yer cheeks, in yer eyes…and presently awaiting the moist touch of yer tongue.”
He watched her struggle against his suggestion while they took their turn dancing in the center of the quadrille. She even bit her lips together to keep her tongue from escaping. But once they were back at rest, apart from the others, she turned her head away. When she turned back, her lips glistened.

She intends to be wicked...
Mercy Kellaway is finally ready to take her revenge on those responsible for her brother’s death. But on the verge of success, a handsome Highlander makes her see that her motives are not nearly as honorable as she supposed. And if she doesn’t frighten him away, this good Samaritan will get caught up in the maelstrom of her vengeance.

He's always been wicked enough for the both of them...
Connor Gray has never belonged among Culloden’s 79. He never intended to fight for Scotland, and only joined the battle for an easy bit of glory. The battle was anything but glorious, however, and he’s been stuck on the moor with 78 ghosts who were infinitely more heroic than he. And when he it is his turn to stop haunting and start proving himself, he insists that he will spend his precious bit of mortality on chasing women, heroic deeds be damned. Coming face to face with Mercy, however, has him changing his tune when it turns out his wicked ways might just be her salvation—if the headstrong lass would only allow it!

Can Connor prevent something terrible from occurring?

Each story about the Ghosts os Culloden Moor has been excellent and different. Connor has been called to do a brave deed by the young witch before he can rest or tell off the Bonnie Prince. He must prevent a lass from doing something terrible.

A Scottish Rascal

I adore Connor, the rogue the rascal who meets his fate in the form of a woman bent on a mission of revenge. But the course of redemption and true love heals two souls. Connor will forever have his Mercy.

Great

This is a great story. I loved that Connor was not repentant and only wanted to have his way with half a dozen lasses before his time was up. But even Soni knows how to handle herself. He rescues Mercy in the end and proves he's not able to take a life, so all ends happily.

The Ghosts of Culloden Moor

I really enjoy each story. They are all a little different but Soni can keep them all in line. The little witch seems to have a heart as well. I like that they go to different times as well.

The 20th book in the series, Connor’s story is the first that I’ve considered not finishing. It seemed to drag on for pages and was quite honestly boring.

Conner turned out to be a most honorable fellow even though he denied he was. Such a good romance with a hint of mystery.

Book # 20 Connor was in the wrong place at the wrong time sort of thing and ended up dead because of it. LOL He gets his chance to make amends but he is only thing of the wee lasses he can bed before he goes on to his eternal rest. So he isn't prepared for what really happens to him or the one lass he is going to have to save. It was hilarious because he was truly disgruntled for a while at his predicament.

Another good addition to a very fun series

I find myself really looking forward to the release of each of these stories. The entire series is entertaining. I love the concept, and the storytelling leads the reader to care about each of the characters

It was a nice change of pace to have Connor's story set in thec1800s. I also enjoyed the fact that the author connected this story to her Four Kings series. It's rather fun to see the characters in other stories.

She was his

Little did he know what his quest would be, for in his heart he knew he was a lie. He wasn't brave at all. Great read as ever. Looking forward to next book in this storyline.

I flew all the books so far but this one took me a week to read. I just couldn't get into like I have the other books. It wasn't terrible. It just didn't capture my attention as much as the others
