This is the fourth volume in the series. Once again, we are trying to get rid of the bugs that have decimated our planet. They can turn half of us into murderers and use the corpses as food. They have made nests throughout the earth outside of the cities. The Navigators have proven to be our best defense against them, but they are pitifully few and they take too much power. Now we find out that we have one more power in our arsenal: we can lie to our invaders and they will believe us. This is the tactic used to clear out the Albuquerque pyramid so the Navigators can invade and hopefully get to the bottom of the nest this time. They go with bombs, knowing that each one will kill the nest and likely themselves as well. The tension builds to the final battle and beyond. I wonder if I could handle living in the aftermath.
