Dave Schroeder (SHRAY-der) is a former Chief Information Officer who's done his share of tech support. He's served as Chief Technology Officer for a Bay Area dotcom and led the ecommerce division of a major Internet consulting company. He also wrote the book, music and lyrics for Softwear.com, a musical comedy produced off-off-Broadway. Dave lives in suburban Atlanta where he enjoys writing and voice acting with the Atlanta Radio Theatre Company.

I just can't... The world is interesting, the concept is interesting, the characters are the worst. The plot twist at the end of this one... I cannot keep reading the series. Just cannot.

SF Romp

I like it, but...

I loved the first novel. The second was pretty good, too. This one stumbles. The dialogue is snappy, but sometimes seems more focused on getting a laugh than maintaining the story. I also was bothered by how reckless it started and how badly the authorities handle...anything. I get how he is supposed to be the hero, but...

I will probably buy the next book, because it ^is^ clever and amusing. But, I will not recommend this book unless you truly enjoyed the puns and repartee.
