Eight wonderful funny and poignant stories

Each of these stories tells of a different aspect of living in medieval times. They all had my attention throughout as the issues of warfare, travel, and inheritance became important. For anyone loving Scots and a great story.

Fantastic Collection!

I very much enjoyed every story in this compilation, and look forward to reading more from these beloved authors. Most of the stories are part of a series from the individual authors, and I plan on delving in to them.

Tarnished Honor by Sabrina York

"He wanted her. This man. This beautiful, wounded, perfect man."

I absolutely love a broken hero! In Tarnished Honor, we are introduced to Daniel Sinclair who has returned from the Battle of Waterloo battered in body, and broken in soul. He watched his best friend fall in battle and blames himself for his loss. Since the death of her brother, Fia Lennox has lost everything. Her home, her family, and her status in society. Fleeing the girls school where she was forced to become a servant, Fia cuts her hair and dresses as a boy in hopes of traveling to her best friends home without incident. Of course that doesn't happen, and she meets up with Daniel. Oh I won't spoil their smexxy adventure! You will have to read it for yourself! Needless to say, I will never eat another apple without thinking of this story. "Lord love a duck", this is yet another great read sure to melt your heart by Sabrina! I luvs it!

Fav quotes:

"Her soul saw and recognized his...she was safe with him...he would protect her."

"...was not her lips he was claiming, rather a chunk of his soul he had somehow lost."

Partial review:
Tarnished Honor is another fine example of Sabrina York's skill at writing a marvelous story. Fia is a feisty young woman disguised as a boy and Daniel is recovering from a war wound and worried about his manly bits working. Ms York has loaded Fia and Daniel's story with her own brand of humor, drama, action and sizzle. I enjoy all of Sabrina York's books but her historical books are my favorite. I can't wait to read more from Sabrina York in the future. Tarnished Honor is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
