Her life intersects with that of Lisa Rayburn, a clinical psychologist who has just found evidence that abused women are going missing in the Milwaukee area. When the police inform Lisa that without hard evidence, they cannot open an investigation, she joins TJ on a mission to reveal foul play at work in the disappearances. In the next two books of the series, TRESPASS and GIRL UNDONE, TJ and Lisa maintain their friendship and use their skills to uncover a cold case from the past and a deadly plot by a serial killer against a crime blogger.

Whew, it's done

Well, i trudged through and was disappointed with the ending and how easy it was to kidnap the kid right out from under their noses. Great idea, costume party so they couldn't recognize the suspect with all that security around. A lot of good it did, waltz right in as Elvis, "thank you very much!". I'll take that kid with me and you can't stop me even when you are pointing a gun right at me. Bang bang, bye bye. I've had all i can take of the voluptuous TJ Peacock. Got tired of the description of every men that crossed her path had to ogle her in some way, boobs, butt, eyes.....whatever. I'm over it and moving on to hopefully better things. If those of you choose to read on, more power to ya! Her climax just wasn't climactic enough for me. Bang bang, bye bye.

an excellent boxed set from a new-to-me author

Peacock and Rayburn - with their band of investigating cohorts - are an interesting team. Seemingly with nothing in common, they forge a friendship based first on the mutual goal of finding a murderer, which soon develops into mutual respect and true friendship.

Filled with vibrant characters and hair-raising dangers, Madison’s tales will keep you turning pages fervently.

I really enjoyed this series. There were a few gaps in some of the storylines, parts that had seemingly been missed when reading but on re-reading found it wasn't the case.
Other then that this series is a great read for anyone who likes mystery and a bit of suspense with a personal life touch from the characters.

Good series

Entertaining series especially if you live in Wisconsin! It’s fun to have places you’re familiar with come alive in the pages of a book and the storyline is good and characters believable.

I liked the characters, especially as they interact with each other. I liked the 3 various, though linked, plots. Too much murder. Good writing, holds together well, makes you want to read the next volume!

Good box set of how these two women took it upon themselves to get involved. With teaching about abused woman when a student shows her a graph on the rise of abuse and quickly disappeared. Finding it was true, these two risk it all to bring justice. Well done.

Life in Peril

In this three book set, women are missing or murdered, and TJ and Lisa work to find out what happened. Other plots occur where their safety is in jeopardy. Figuring out who the evil creeps are is hard work.

Man what a set of books

These are three great books. They are murder mysteries with plenty of twists. There is plenty good police procedure and the author inserts some very good psychology.

I enjoyed these three books in a boxed set. Easy to read, always with medical and personal details of some sort to be examined and then investigated. Great tales.

Tried to read the first book but found it impossible to follow. Far too many characters, without any seeming input. Narrative jumped around in short bursts. Deleted a d won't bother with the other books in the series.

Very well done. Many subplots, with as many differing personalities. The story line is well woven. The first 3 books should be well received.

Perfect mystery set. Covered all the bases - murder, a little personal stuff, twists and turns and the right endings.

Easy read but plenty of murder, mayhem and mystery with some psychology and police procedure thrown in. Would definitely read more of TJ and Lisa.
