I found this enjoyable to read and could comfortably exercise my German knowledge (B2). Good book to do grammar analysis on and learn new vocabulary related to pirates, treasure hunts and adventure.

Nice and simple language used
This is a nice and abridged version of treasure island with easy to read German for beginners with already a hang of common spoken verbs. The story itself is great. I have been a fan for 25 years since I read the book (english of course!) for the very first time. Some more maps as part of the german version would be a nice addition.
