Good intro book on pawn structures, plans for both sides in various pawn structures, how the pieces should interact in given pawn structures, and likely endgames.

Very informative book about pawn structures. The didactical exposition is great and the reader learns a lot about subtle play. All pawn structures are covered, I think, and the examples illustrating the concepts are well-chosen. The prose is a bit wonky here and there and it seems that the text is translated from German, this sometimes made me read a sentence twice or three times to get the meaning. Still, after carefully studying this book, one can greatly improve one's understanding of this aspect of the game.

Good:
* So many different positions and analyses for each of them.

Bad:
* More comments in the games are welcome.
