...WAIT. YOU MEAN TO TELL ME NIJIMURA WAS IN EXTRA GAME AND THE MOVIE STRAIGHT UP TOOK HIM OUT? NIJIAKA STILL KEEP IN TOUCH? CRYING AND FEELING SO VALIDATED RN.

The fifth chapter is dedicated to the Aomine and Kise teamup, with that teamup giving way to Kise giving his all to push the team through into the fourth quarter with his Perfect Copy, exhausting every bit of his stamina. The sixth chapteralso has a focus, this time on the previously sealed sociopathic alter ego of Akashi. Through that alter ego, Akashi is able to fully exert the power of his Emperor Eye and present an amoral foil to the hostility of team Jabberwock and the newly teamwork oriented team Vorpal Swords. Furthermore, this version of Akashi hatches an outrageous plan with Midorima to exploit the technique perfected between Midorima and Takao through the course of the main series — Midorima being passed the ball mid-shot to avoid his defenders. The seventh chapter begins with the revelation that Nash has a similar power to Akashi, called the Demon Eye. The chapter also includes the unleashing of an exquisite level of play not seen by Murasakibara ever up until this point.
Thus far, the series has followed a familiar rhythm of focusing on particular characters and allowing them moments for character development alongside showcasing their unique abilities usually in relation to another one of their teammates. Now, with all that's left being the final chapter, it seems fitting that it will end with a focus on Kuroko, Aomine, and Kagami to most likely win the match against Jabberwock. Still, the series has built up a strong sense of suspense and has delivered continuously on action and insightful exploration of the characters. The conclusion promises to be up to the quality of the series as a whole.
Ki-chan and Aominecchi team up was amazing!! Also Midorin and Akachin's too!! Takao was so jealous of it.. };3 When Mukkun fell down I was so angry I wanted to crush that shitty-boy!! }>:V (My Tanaka spirit wanted to get out }XD) I died when Bokushi and Oreshi became one with each other, Akashi's so wonderful and with Kuroko makes a perfect match.. I feel like Satsuki when I look at them getting on well with each other again }X3 TwT I would love to see more of Vorpal Swords!!
I haven't actually finished reading this manga but the website that I use for scanlations are taking their sweet time with the translated scans so I am just giving it up for now. It wasn't that interesting anyway. The plot for Extra Game is a little tired, nothing interesting to report and on top of that, I don't like Fujimaki-Gi's new style of drawing.
