Future Visions
Future Visions is a nine part graphic novel series that follows the story of Bryan Thompson who accidentally finds a pair of reading glasses that can see up to one hour into the future, helping him discover the truth about his mysterious wife and overcoming obstacles that have kept him from realizing his true ambitions.
In Part 1 of the series, we meet Bryan's tantalizing and infuriating wife Rachel, who "loans" Bryan's encrypted laptop to her would be playboy boyfriend, Sergei. Bryan's laptop provides secure access to one of the most powerful computer systems in the world - the Canadian Revenue Agency's Income Tax system.
In the hands of Petru, an eccentric scientist being blackmailed by Rachel's boss Nicholas, the laptop provides the power necessary to complete the final development of Petru's life long work - lenses that can focus light in such a way as to enable the viewer to see up to one hour into the future!
As Petru is testing the lenses, Rachel is working on a plan to seduce her boss Nicholas by auditioning at his brother's strip club, the Bare Foxes. Her audition is a smash and leaves Nick wondering about his executive assistant, and Bryan puzzling over what his wife is doing out of the house yet again.
