For Bennett, the plan was simple. Hire a girl to pretend to be his girlfriend, keep the facade up for six months, stage a break-up and then claim he was too heart broken to move on.
For Henley, things were a bit more complicated. After all, who could just sign on to be someone's pretend girlfriend? And how could she keep up with someone like Bennett? Wealthy, successful, handsome, arrogant... the complete opposite of her in many ways.
But hey. The money was good. And with her brother in jail for a crime he didn't commit, she could use it.
I've always wanted to read this book on Wattpad and it was a good read to me. The start of the book was interesting and I really like the pace. It was sensible since this is a fake dating trope, and you wouldn't expect the characters to fall in love with each other immediately. To be fair, I thought Bennett would at least get attracted to Henley but he really just a guy who wanna get down to business. It's hilarious truly.
The plot was okay, predictable somehow but there are some surprises. However, I feel like it gets discursive which may get tedious and monotonous for the conflict to resolve. Overall, it wasn't bad, I find this an amusing and light read.
When I pick up the book I thought it was going to be a simple and easy reading of love but then while I kept reading and reading mysteries started to show and omg they were so good and so well structure and the end, that's a big cliffhanger that kept me creating so many teories and driving me crazy. About the character I really like Henley, she's such a great woman and I love her personaliry, now Bennett at first I really wanted to punch him right in the face but at some point I just couldn't help falling for him, he's such a sweetheart, I just really like this book
I've been reading this for a long time now on Wattpad but it has now come to an end. I'm a bit sad to be honest, but also really happy with the ending.
It's been a fun time reading this for how long... I think I started this in 2017... so that's like 3 years, a long time indeed. Been worth it!
(But I did start reading this from the beginning this year, because I had hard time recalling what happened, before starting the new updates..)
Started reading this cheesy romance novel because I had terrible jet lag one night and couldn’t sleep. Excuses aside, I was actually super hooked until the chase ended. I’m marking this as read even though I still have a few chapters left bc it’s getting a lil too predictable and cringy to finish completely. BUT super nostalgic of my early teenage years to be reading romance on Wattpad again :’) giving this a 3.5, rounding up for old times sake
Although it’s cliche and both main characters (Bennet and Henley =rich boy, poor girl) can be annoying at times due to misunderstandings but the plot was interesting to see their relationship grow. The Webtoon has pretty decent art too 🥰
This is just another wattpad book i couldn’t finish. as you can see from the title, it’s a romance novel but it felt more like a mystery novel. personally, mystery novels aren’t my cup of tea. the romance was so dry, there wasn’t much excitement and fire.
Some of the characters were so annoying i wanted to throw my phone across the room. it wasn’t really some cliche hot ceo billionaire type of story. however, the plot is annoying. the mother is forcing her son to marry someone to uphold the company’s name while being bitchy about it. Benett then chooses some girl he met at a restaurant.. what are the odds of that.. not to forget, Bennett’s brother and Henley’s brother are related in a criminal investigation.. wow such a coincidence!!! ugh the plot is literally irritating. if you like this book, good for u but i can’t see myself enjoying it.
I'm a sucker for cliché billionaire tropes, but the "fake dating" aspect threw me off somewhat. However, as I got into the book I was truly hooked. Not only does this book include the romance, it serves the thriller and mystery aspect as well! Not to mention, this book is hilarious at times; especially Bennett's blunt personality in early chapters. I also really loved both Henley and Bennett's dynamic, and there relationship from fake to real dating progressed naturally and was realistic. I also became invested into Henry and Lee's romance and am truly obsessed with them. This book really did it all, and I'm already indulging into the sequel! Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys family drama, fake dating, rich man - poor woman tropes, crazy mothers, mystery romances and of course adorable bother dynamics!
This book amazed me so much. I mean I started it as a romantic cliche story where a contract will lead to falling in love... but this book was so much more. If I'd have to give genres to it, I would add romantic, young adults, thriller, suspense and mystery too. Never would I have thought that this book would turn up like it did and I'm so glad that I thought of reading this. So a girl and a guy make a contract for dating and end up falling in love, but the story isn't just this.... there are more secrets to be revealed and so much full of drama and emotions. I would suggest everyone to read this book.. And I hope to have this book on my bookshelf one day.
It is a really nice book. I really love both of them and the plot twist just drove me freaking crazy. But, towards the end, It got a little boring for me but still, I liked the story and the plot twist a lot. Would definitely recommend if you love LOVE <3333
A good book for lovers of romance and drama...and even better, kdramas. The author had mentioned there would be a kdrama-type plot which is what drew me in and she definitely delivered. Crazy moms, fake relationships, true with dialogue that makes you blush and gives you butterflies. I really need an OST or for this to become a TV show. The books leaves you asking a lot of questions that take a while to get answered but I guess that's the suspense of it. Like a kdrama, typical.
The second book is still in progress so I can't comment on this, but the first book was amazing. The plot twist at the end...omg....I can't....how did she deliver that without anyone realizing it? It shocked me so much but I LOVED IT. Honestly, I think it's one of the best plot twists I've seen.
I really admire this book and the author's mind for many reason. First I admire how evil she made Mrs. Calloway to be. The conspiracies and how the puzzle pieces came together at the end. Second thing is the family relation and how can anyone do literally anything for the love of their family. I relate to that so much because i would've done the same if i was in their shoes. And last thing is the way of resolving issues between 2 people in love. I always feel like you should always talk and figure things together. Like don't take decisions on your own and keep a distance because u think it's better that way. Relationships includes 2 people and both should agree and discuss thinga togther. Overall, this book is really wholesome and I enjoyed it.
It started of really nicely but it got really tiring towards the end. Some things happened just because they were supposed to happen out of convenience. When there was a serious situation the characters just chilled thinking it will be taken care. I mean I get it, it's a Wattpad novel, things will be taken care of but you need to act on it. Anyways I am really in love with Bennet's house. There were some hilarious comments that I could not stop laughing at but I think by the middle of the book it got a little boring and dragged. Good effort tho :)
I'm most of the way thru Hired to Love. It was a little slow starting out but it picked up and I'm enjoying it very much. The twist in this story was one that I did not expect at all. I love the characters, of course, Bennett and Henley = Benley. And am absolutely crushing on Lee and Henry. How could you not love those two? They're not a couple but super sweet people. Can't wait to get to the end of the story and see if karma really does her job!
The first time i saw this book was in wattpad. Honestly, i never was interested in this book especially after reading storm and silence. As i continued reading it, i was so engrossed and captivated by it. it's nicely written although it's paid in wattpad. i don't think any billionaire book can compare to this. i wish everyone in the world could read this book and enjoy it like i have. The author has done a brilliant job.
This is a good book for people who like to read at their own leisure! It was addicting at first, but then later on I think the plot kind of died down. Overall, I still really enjoy reading it! I'm a huge sucker for minor characters being in relationships so I honestly love Sebastian and Anna more than Henley and Bennett! :)

The beginning was good. And I enjoyed. At first it seemed as a easy going but you know what to except from a pretend relationship plot 😅 . This book kept me hooked by the unraveling mysteries. For a time I was like ' Did Lee died or not 🤯" I was having blast at that time in confusion. I felt the ending was little bit rushed but it's okay. The overall book is worth to read!
i loved this book so so so much!!!! it was really long which i loved about it because it was so good and i was so invested in it! i read a lot and this was definitely one of the best books i’ve read in a while! i was really impressed with the quality of the writing too, everything worked together so well! thanks so much for writing such an amazing book!
DNF at chapter 21. . I was enjoying it even though it was a bit slow, but then I found out it was turned into a series and it ended on a cliffhanger and we all know I hate those.
Maybe I'll pick this back up. Maybe not. I do really enjoy Jordan's previous works though.
A good love story, some drama, lies, manipulation and mommy issues. It's not groundbreaking but I had a good time reading the story whenever I wanted to read something "light".
My favourite scene is hands down the one when their mom comes to Bennett's house and her and Henley's interaction. And may I say Henley's perfect line "Hello sugar daddy Bennett."
I absolutely adore Hired To Love! It's amazing and the characters are all unique. The story is great and the cliffhangers just make me want more and more!
