This interactive online training course aims to develop physiotherapists, osteopaths, chiropractors, and manual therapy practitioners’ palpation skills for the accurate assessment and treatment of their clinical case loads. The course will include an overview of surface anatomy principles of palpation and detailed and high-quality videos on how to diagonally locate and ipsilaterally palpate bony structures, joints, ligaments, tendons and muscles throughout all the regions of the body. On completion of this course, therapists will certify their palpation skills with a certification for palpation skills, based on real world clinical application standards at better informing their professionalism, diagnostic recognised checks and balances and supporting their professional employability pathways in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, orthopaedics rehabilitation, and/or manual therapy clinical practice.
