Blake Lasseter relishes his solitude. Nestled in the backwoods of Kentucky he is content with his simple life, deducted to service in a most...unconventional way. Even taking a trip into the boonies to beg the help of the elusive marijuana grower so many have sworn by and—warned of. Thankfully, she already knew the man, if from several years earlier. Some told her of his brutish attitude, but no one said anything about his panty-dropping sex appeal, a fact she really should have remembered from her college days with him.When a late spring snow storm rolls in trapping the two together Blake has to curb his appetite for her lest he alienate the beauty he's so infatuated with. His only hope is to get her back to her grandmother before he loses his self respect and claims her for his own.

"Mary Jane's Healing Hands" was an appropriate title for this quick but sweet read. Mary Jane Peyton was able to give her granddaughter, Ruth something she would need after she was gone - Blake Lasseter! Started off bumpy but ended just right... as Mary Jane Peyton suspected it would!
“You’re mine, Ruth. Mine to protect. Mine to pleasure. Mine to love. I swear to you, I’ll do all that and more if you’ll have me.” - Blake
As if she’d read Ruth’s thoughts, Grams said, “I’d worried about you, baby.” She reached for Ruth’s hand and squeezed it with her own frail one. “When your mother and father were killed in that car accident, I was afraid you’d spend so much time trying to take care of me that you’d neglect yourself. I was right.” She reached to Blake, snagging his big hand. “Now, I have Blake here to make sure you’re happy.” - Mary Jane Peyton aka Grams

Comforting love
This was a tender love story. I loved how Blake and Mary Jane connected and how she brought them together. The sweetest thing was his desire to wait. To take care of her grams before moving on with their need for one another. Intensely sweet and erotic with not only the physical but the emotional as well.

Well DAYUM! This was a very SWEET & HOT little novella! Blake was a total gentleman. And, of course that only made him hotter! ;-)

Mary Jane
I loved it. Wished it was longer but I really enjoy that he was respectful and truly had a kind heart even if he was all male Alpha when needed.

It was a good, short read. I actually would have liked a little more back story and their current relationship. Here's hoping his brother has a story as well.

Enjoyable Quick Read
Fast paced novella. A matchmaking Grandma who has terminal cancer sends her granddaughter on a quest for medical marijuana. I liked the factoid about the components of marijuana that make it medicinal. That was an interesting substory. The hero truly was a hero; he grew it to give away to terminally ill people. The heroine was a selfless character taking care of her ill grandmother. The attraction was quick and the real almost too quick but I thoroughly enjoyed the story.

Very nice
Short and to the point. Some authors are very good at giving you a short story that hits all that's needed in the story. We would like to know what happens next ,but we weren't denied what happened. A good complete short story.
