MM Erotica Short

Book 3 of 3 (read in order)
3.5 Stars ⭐️
This is the last book in this short, hot trilogy. Each book is only about 30 pages and it’s mostly smut. While this did end with a HEA, it’s more implied than shown and that was ok with me because these were fast easy reads. I actually wish there were more of these but it’s the first time I’ve read this author and I’d like to read more.

Tavia Lark es una autora que conocí este año y hasta la fecha no me ha defraudado con ninguna de las sagas que he leído. Si es cierto hay alguna novela que no me ha gustado per sé pero no al punto de querer abandonarlo o dejar de leerla.
Esta novela me la he leído en inglés. Objetivamente yo enmarcaría el nivel entre un intermedio-intermedio alto. Tampoco cuenta con un vocabulario específico y su prosa es ligera.
Esta pequeña trilogía cuenta con un total de 90 páginas divididas en tres entregas. Se trata de una historia simple de fantasía urbana con vampiros. En ella la autora juega con los clichés de almas gemelas (mates) y el erotismo del vampiro, aunque esto ultimo con la portada y el titulo se sobreentiende.
A pesar de que ha sido una lectura entretenida, he de decir que no es la mejor obra de ella. Además, sino me equivoco creo que es una de sus primeras. Me alegra saber que ha mejorado.
En conclusion, si quieren leer a esta autora les recomiendo otras obras sobretodo la de The prince and the assasin.

BITTEN STEADY concludes Alec and Leander's romance and I'm happy to see these two being honest about their feelings. This series has been so much fun and very sexy and even being bite-sized (pun intended) it still carries a lot of heart. And bonus points for very creative sexy times with a mirror and a vampire with no reflection.

Never Been Bitten is the first in a three part short story series by Tavia Lark.
The story revolves around what is called a Vampire Delivery Service where the vampire purchases the blood gift from a willing participant for cash.
The three part series is Never Been Bitten, Bitten with Benefits and Bitten Steady.
The "hero" is Alec, a college student who is trying to finance his college expenses by selling his blood via the Vampire Delivery Service. His first customer is Leander, a (sigh, so predictable) very beautiful male vampire. The two meet at Leander's home, and there is an instant attraction between the two.
In Never Been Bitten, the couple meet, connect and have a terrifically sexy evening together.
In Bitten with Benefits, the couple meet again for another transaction and once again have a terrifically sexy evening together, falling deeper under each other's spell.
In Bitten Steady, the relationship reaches a final climax where love conquers all and the couple declare their love for each other.
While the stories are short, roughly 32 pages each, the stories are very well written and there is, in remarkably short stories, very good character description, back story, and the author brings the reader willingly into the lives of the characters. The sex scenes are very scintillating, torrid without being trashy and while the reader says "this is so typical of the m/m genre of writing" the author draws the reader in, makes you like the characters and you instantly obtain the other two stories in the series to find out how the series ends.
All in all, the author makes this reader want to read more. Congratulations, Tavia Lark. Well done. You have taken the typical m/m genre, used its' broad outlines and created something which is a willing suspension of disbelief and one hopes she takes these short stories, explores the depth of the characters and turns it into a full fledged novel.

Oh... the possessive and sweet HEA we were all waiting for (and of course knew would happen but were still always so glad it did)
A great finale for their love story. There was drama, of course, and jealousy and more than anything I loved how Alec tried to understand his situation with Leander, his job and the idea of sharing his blood with others. It's a little like considering the differences in what no commitments and open relationships are, and because there's nothing "real" or "clear" in his deal with Leander it's painful and so relatable the way Alec feels. More than anything I like that their drama is not a "found you with the hands on it" situation but a latter on there's a conflict and it was actually handled very maturely... in an actual conversation instead of the classic cliché "you cheated on me" drama... I really liked that and didn't expect it... cause there's a reason why the cheating is a cliché.
Anyway, all in all, the 3 part story/series is great, a short, light, SEXY AS HECK read that I enjoyed for many reasons, not just the erotic aspects of it, which were ...amazing, but also the development of the story, romance and characters but also their personalities and, particularly how Alec is developed despite being so young.
A 5 out of 5, still a 10 out of 5 in the HOT DANG IT HOT scale. Loved it!!! Will totally re-read it... probably soon. Totally recommend it (with chocolate ice-cream or a cooling beverage/treat of your choice). Please, read, buy, review, share, and show the author all the love so we can continue to get romance erotic stories like these and many more Tavia Lark has that are so delicious.

He liked the way Leander made him feel. He liked the rough touches and firm commands. Most of all, he liked the bite - and the tender way the vampire put him back together afterwards.
This was my favorite in the little series - the dynamic has changed and despite the tangible reasons for angst, the characters all seem to interact and respond exactly as you hope they will to get to a HEA. I really liked when
"I don't know if I'd call it a 'sugar daddy thing.'"
"It's one hundred percent a sugar daddy thing."
Leander grinned. "You could be my trophy human."
Again, I'm left wanting sooooo much more!

Knew where this was headed from the beginning of the first book (story? novella? installment? whatever), but I definitely enjoyed the journey. The whole thing is a bite-sized (haha, yes) piece of joy perfect for a lazy afternoon.
