I’m Aubrey Somers. I’ve landed my dream job. I have a great apartment and I still keep in touch with my best friend...even though he lives hundreds of miles away. I’ve even started dating again. I have a lot going for me.
It doesn’t matter that I have to take an anti-depressant everyday or see a therapist every other week. It doesn’t matter that I refuse to drive anywhere. The wreck that ruined everything I had is almost a distant memory. Almost.
But now I have two men in my life. Two men who want to be with me. Two men I never thought I’d have the chance to be with. And I feel like I’m drowning...
“His hungry mouth consumes everything from me. All of my emotions. When he pulls away, I don’t know what to feel. What to want. Who to want.” – Let The Waves Come In
**This book contains explicit language and sexual scenes. It is meant for adult readers only.**
I am a happily married mother of three (two boys and one girl). I live in a very small town in Alabama. Never lived anywhere else. I’ve been writing since my early twenties, but I couldn’t seem to finish a book. I’ve started self-publishing with the encouragement from my mom. Without her encouragement, I don’t think I would’ve done it. She always supported me and writing is something I’ve always enjoyed doing. As long as I enjoy it, I’ll continue to do it. I’ve learned already that I can’t please everyone. Not all reviews will be good, not all reviews will be bad. I’m the one that has to be happy with my work.
I get my inspiration from life experiences, movies, television, other authors, and music. Music is definitely a big influence on my writing. I can hear a song and it can inspire an entire book for me. I listen to it while I’m driving or before I start writing and it keeps me inspired. I like to put music in my books, even if it’s just one song the characters listen to or hear at some point. Sometimes music has gotten me through the really tough times in my life and that’s why it inspires me.
I like to write fast-paced, steamy romance reads. I like for my males to be alpha-males and my heroines to be strong, but both need to have one weakness- each other. I am an avid reader. I absolutely love romance books!
This was my first time reading this author and I really enjoyed Let The Waves Come In, the story is told in dual POV's, I liked the writing style and the way the story progressed.
Aubrey loves her job and her apartment but she is lonely and having no luck finding a roommate. On a night out she runs into her best friends big brother Declan and he is also looking for a new place to live so they decide to become roommates.
Even though they grew up together they aren't that close, Aubrey and Drew were inseparable and Aubrey lived at Declan's home, Declan is older than Aubrey and she has had a crush on him since she was thirteen and on her eighteenth birthday they sleep together but it ended badly.
Aubrey is dealing with her guilt over what happened to her ex fiancé Chandler (my opinion she should not feel guilty it takes TWO to argue) and Declan is keeping what he actually does in the military a secret from Aubrey.
I don't want to go into the story to much as I don't want to give anything away as the story unfolds nicely and has a few surprises along the way. I found it funny, sexy and at times very sad. I loved the friendship between Aubrey and Drew and how call each other daily even though they are thousands of miles apart. I liked the rest of the gang as well.
I don't usually read many love triangles but this is done perfectly Aubrey is torn between her past love and present love. Who will she choose? I was rooting for Declan.
I received this copy from the author J L Leslie in return for an honest review and it was my pleasure to read this, I will be reading more from her in the future.
I'm looking forward to Drew's story Finding Dawn now
This book is an AMAZING read!! Literally could not put it down. Author J.L. Leslie really makes you feel like you are in the minds of the characters and experiencing the story with them. The love between Aubrey and Declan should be classified under "book couple." Their story has ups and downs and will keep your interest throughout the whole book. There is not a dull moment!! I can't wait to read more from this author. I recommend this book to those who love chick flics and romance novels (I love both!)
Since she was 13 years old Aubrey has always crushed on her best friends Drews brother Declan.
At her 18th birthday she gives her virginity to Declan hoping it will bring them closer. But when he basically throws her out of his room after, she realizes all he wanted from her was sex.
Years later in California she runs into Declan again. They end sleeping together and she finds that this time it's not a fling, it's much more. But life is never that easy and when a man shows up from her past, it threatens her and Declan's future.
I really liked the story but I felt the strong friendship between Drew and Aubrey was not visited enough to make it believable to me. I felt there should have been much more interaction between the two of them.
I received this book in exchange for an honest review. 'Let The Waves Come In by J.L. Leslie is the story of Aubrey Somers and Declan Matthews. Aubrey has had a crush on Declan since she was thirteen years old. Declan is her best friend Drew older brother. On Aubrey eighteen birthday she makes her move to show Declan how she feels. They end up having sex but Declan seem very cold to her afterwards and she goes to Dew to be consoled. Now six years later Declan and Aubrey find themselves in the same area of California and even become roommates. After a few weeks of just being roommates the find they are still attracted to each other. They start to sleep together but they both have secrets they haven't shared with each other. They are both fighting mental demons. Declan is also somewhat jealous of Aubrey's closeness to Drew. This was a really great story that you can't stop reading! Really great read!
JL Did such a great job with this book! I love that she used a real friendship between a man and a woman that lasts and the subject of loving the best friends brother. Everything about this story line was so perfect.
The way that Aubrey and Drew interact as friends and how their friendship dynamic worked amazed me. The bad part about their friendship was that they weren't the same sex, but the good thing is that he was her family. I can online imagine how jealous a significant other would be if their boyfriend or girlfriend had a best friend of the opposite sex, and the two have them had lots of problems with this. Then we have Declan, I love everything about him, especially the part where he always wanted her. Their relationship was almost taboo in the sense that he is Drew's brother, but it's so right! Their relationship was one that everyone wants.
But her past really crept up on her, the reappearance of Chandler made me so sad. He threw the biggest wrench and I really hated him for it. He had so much do to with the bad place that Aubrey had been in that I wish he'd never come back.
I really love how she ended this story and I really want wait to see what is going to happen with Drew!
WOW I COULD NOT PUT THIS DOWN!!! I finished it in one afternoon, it was so captivating! What an incredibly moving story of a young woman's journey of self discovery and forgiveness of not only herself but those in her life. I was totally drawn into this story from the beginning. A young girl Aubrey, coming of age and sharing such a precious gift with the man she has always loved, only to have the moment destroyed so achingly. Then to have Love ripped away years later when her fiancé and his family blame her for an accident that leaves him dreadfully injured. And finally when these two loves re-enter Her life and send her in a tailspin. Can they forgive her, but more importantly, can she forgive herself. To have such a close a close lifelong friend in Drew, so close that others never really see the truth in their friendship. Life and love are tempestuous to begin with but to throw in such upheaval in such a young woman's life is heartbreaking. My heart ached as Aubrey was forced to face her past and all the emotions that were still confusing for her. For Declan, the man she gave her heart to so many years ago, the brother of her truest and best friend. Their love was an exploration of space and time, a rite of passage for them both in many ways. For Drew, her brother in every way but in blood, who is there for her through all the pain and agony she must go through in her life. And for Chandler, who she once loved and still has emotions tied to but for totally different reasons. I truly enjoyed this story with all its twists and turns, the emotional upheaval for all of the characters involved. The growth and changes they all lived through on their way to finding themselves and who they truly were meant to love. This is my first trip into Author J.L. Leslie's world and I can say with certainty that I will be looking to see what is next! I cannot wait to read the continuation of these characters with Drew's story. Well Done 🌺
Ms. Leslie wrote a scintillating novel that I thoroughly enjoyed. Declan and Aubrey's story is packed with love, angst, romance, passion, and a HEA. Great characters and fantastic storyline dynamics! Loved it.
This was a beautifully written story and I fell in love with Declan and Aubrey from the beginning. Nothing was easy about their relationship but I was routing for them. I loved how the author made you feel like you were part of their journey. I felt many emotions while reading this book. I can't wait to read what comes next. This book is a must read and I highly recommend that you one click it as soon as possible.
This is a beautifully written story about second chances and love. Aubrey is still trying to recover her heart from 2 years ago. Declan is working in the area when they see each other for the first time in years. When they become roommates the fireworks have no choice but to explode. Steamy, heart wrenching and beautiful. Do not miss this book. I can not wait for Drews story.
I received a free copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review and I have to say I quite enjoyed it ;) in fact I enjoyed it so much, I read it in one afternoon ;) it's just... after I started it... before I knew what was happening I was already like 70% in and I needed to know how this story ends... but before I go into more details, let me explain something really quickly... it's not a love triangle... well... at least not in a way that the synopsis is suggesting... ;) it will all be more clear once I tell you a bit about this book :) and yes, I know I'm being vague, but it's on purpose :) I don't want to spoil you some pretty surprising twists, so this review gonna be a little bit on the short side... :)
So let's start with our main couple :) Aubrey have been best friends with Drew, Declan's younger brother ever since they were kids... and it's a true friendship, nothing more on either side, which is a nice refresher, cause for a moment I was worried that the "love triangle" would involve brothers and I'm not really a fan of that in books... I'm not a fan of love triangles in general, but that's beside the point :) fortunately for me that was not the case ;) so they've been friends forever and she was spending a lot of time at his house... and after some time she developed a crush on Declan... which turned into not a very pretty situation on her 18th birthday party... well, it's more complicated than just this one sentence, but I'm not gonna tell you more, although we learn all about that situation pretty early on in the book, but still ;) after that we skip ahead six years... when both Aubrey and Declan have a past behind them... and in each cases it's some serious and traumatic past I have to add... but since we learn more details much later, I won't spoil you anything... they end up as unlikely roommates, and that whole situation leads to their even more unlikely friendship... and then more... ;) I know I'm being vague, but there's really nothing more I can add about that, that wouldn't spoil you things, so I'm gonna change the subject a bit ;) I really liked them as a couple... the fact that they truly started as friends and that it wasn't just a case of falling in love in a day... ;) I liked their banter, and how they were together... both of them kept some secrets for some time... but I can understand the reasons behind that behaviour, so I'm not judging... and you shouldn't as well... and definitely not until you learn everything... that "love triangle" situation mentioned in the synopsis is basically towards the end of the book, and it's not really a case of a "love triangle" as it is a case of a woman sorting through a lot of complex and tangled emotions... and again... even though I'm not a fan of those situations, it was handled very well in this book, and I could sympathise with Aubrey and her dilemma...
Besides our main couple, there was of course a bunch of secondary charasters... and even though there were plenty of Aubrey's friends as well as Declan's friends, and they were all very interesting, the person I need to talk about, and the one who really stood out for me, is of course Drew :) he's Declan's younger brother and Aubrey's best friend :) and it was wonderful to see their friendship and closeness without worrying that one of them had more romantic feelings for the other :) and he's such a fun character... that's why I'm more than happy, that Drew actually got his own book :) I am very curious to see what's gonna wait for him in his own story :) and I was lucky enough to get a copy of that book from the lovely author as well :) it is waiting for me on my kindle and you can bet that I will get to it very very soon :)
All in all I enjoyed this story very much :) which is actually surprising, cause like I mentioned, I'm not a fan of those "love triangle" situations, but this one was very unique, and I had no problems with it :) it's a new author for me, but based on the fact that I loved her writing style, I will definitely check out her other work :) this particular book is written in 2 POVs, and that's just another checkmark on the plus side ;) it was a lovely mix of fun moments along with much more emotional ones... because believe me... there were parts when I wanted to reach into the book and hug a certain person or two... my heart was breaking for them... and that only made the beautiful ending of their story that more satisfying... ;) and even though this book wasn't perfect, I can wholeheartedly recommend it :) if you need a story that will tug at your emotions, but leave you with a charming smile on your face once you finish it, then definitely pick this one up ;)
i went into this one blind, and i was glad that i did. it was going in blind that made it so that i was able to keep guessing what was going to happen next while reading. i liked how the characters worked together, and the friendship that Aubrey and Drew have hits close to home, so that was something that made me relate to this one on a personal level. this story wasn't only one about two people finally coming together. this story was one of exceptence in things that happen in life. both Aubrey and Declan had things that they needed to overcome in order to finally be able to together. you will have times that you want to throat punch Declan, and then you will have times that you want to slap Aubrey. and having these kind of moments is something that enjoy reading and look for.
This is an awesome read especially if you wish to read while being outside whether on the beach or your own backyard. From the moment I picked up this book, I could not put it down, it was that good. You will feel the emotions of the characters and I love that it was told from dual POVs. I truly think a book is better read when we get both sides of the story from all characters involved.
Aubrey and Drew are like two peas in a pod, they have been best friends since they were little kids and to this day remain best friends. Bravo to the author for this, as yes, girls and boys can be friends without ever blurring the lines even as they grow up. This just goes to show that true friendship doesn't matter what your gender is. Aubrey has crushed on his older brother, Declan for years she takes this to a different level when she is eighteen and has to live with the outcome shortly thereafter. Insert, Chandler and we find out that Aubrey is struggling with a tragic experience and has a constant battle of fighting depression and forgiving both herself and Chandler. Can I just say that Chandler is a piece of work (that is nicely put I might say). While it was tragic on the events that occurred I truly believe this was Aubrey's wake up call before she made the worst decision of her life with Chandler.
Declan had his own struggles being in the military. He also had to battle his feelings for Aubrey not only when they were younger, but once they resume a friendship years later being in the same state. From roommate to roomhate, to doing what you can to let Aubrey decide what is best for them. I will say I was Team Declan the whole time and was not Team Chandler at all. I loved that as Drew being his brother and her best friend, that he supported her no matter what and was always there for her. I did not like his fiancé, Kammie either she was a piece of work. Though my mouth did drop at the airport scene. That was awesome and jaw dropping.
In this book, you will truly feel the story from all characters and I gotta say not once are you confused on who is speaking and how she ties the story together. The suspense was there and we rode it in waves as it unfolded. You will laugh, cry and gasp while reading this book, but it is totally worth it. I can't read to read the next book from this author and I am glad I found her cause she has a reader for life now.
Aubrey and Declan. I adore this couple. After many ups and downs in both their lifes, the secrets come out. They have both been secretly in love with each other for years and you are constantly rooting for them. Circumstances bring them together once more and they knock the hurdles clean out of the water.
A very sweet, emotional read that will stay with me.
I was given a complimentary e-copy of Let the Waves Come In in exchange for a review.
For much of her life, the one person Aubrey can count on to always support her in everything she does, is her best friend Drew. So far the pair has been the exception to the 'there's no way that a man and a woman can be best friends and nothing more' rule and there's no plans to ever change that. Even now, living on opposite sides of the country, their friendship is stronger than ever before.
And then there's Drew's brother Declan, who happens to be Aubrey's long time crush, and also the man she lost her v-card to on her 18th birthday and then immediately after got her heart shattered by. But life goes on. She went to school, lived life, met and fell in love with and got engaged to another man, before life dealt her another devastation. Two years later, Declan and Aubrey find themselves living in the same city and in each other's orbit once again. Oh Aubrey, the first devastation by Declan wasn't enough because she finds herself still attracted to him, and surprise, there's something on his side of things too!!!
The thing with life is that you just never know what's going to happen next - sure you can make plans, but one moment, one chance encounter can toss all your plans into the air and you just have to feel your way out, and doubt every thought and action that you have while you try to maneuver your way through and hope that things work out in the end.
I truly enjoyed this story - for some reason I love romances that involve a girl and her best friend's brother and this story was no exception. Aubrey had a lot to deal with, as far as certain painful events in her past, and Declan had a lot to deal with too, due to his job in the Air Force. Together I just had to hope that they'd be able to open up to each other and trust each other with all the uglies in their lives. There were times that I wasn't sure how the book was going to turn out, but I love the way that things did work out for Aubrey.
This was the first book I've ready by J.L. Leslie, but I'm looking forward to reading more!
*This book was received as an ARC by invitation of the author in exchange for an honest review*
Let The Waves Come In is the first book I have read by JL Leslie and to be honest up until this point I hadnt heard of her. I love discovering brand new to me authors so I was very excited to be contacted about this book. I went into it blind, reading no reviews or information ahead of time so the story could speak for itself.
Characters - the story centers around three characters really, at least in my mind - instead of the usual two. Theres Aubrey, her best friend Drew, and Drew's brother Declan. The love story part of the story also includes another person - Chandler. I know this seems a bit much to keep up with, but once you start reading, it all flows quite nicely together.
Story - Aubrey and Drew have been friends since they were kids. Declan is the older brother that Aubrey crushed on and lost her virginity to (and her pride at the same time, poor girl). Fast forward to adulthood, Aubrey and Declan end up roommates who turn into much more. Like I mentioned before, there are some OM/OW issues and the Chandler guy that pops into the story line but all in all I felt that the author handled that part of the story a lot better than some I have read. I get kind of squicked out at "love triangle" situations and cheater scenarios but I will say this book from the blurb to the end was open and honest about the fact that there was always going to be more than the two people involved in the plot line so I definitely knew the route the story was going to go in. And again, I think the author did a really great job of handling that part of the story. The characters were well developed and the story flowed at a good pace. Once I got everyone settled in my head it was a nice fast read. I give Let The Waves Come In 4**** WickedGoodStars and appreciate the opportunity to read/review this book!

Firstly i would like to thank the author for giving me the honour of reading and reviewing this amazing book. This is the first book I've read from this author so i didn't know what to expect, but i have to say i loved this book. i loved the dual POV it let you get in both their heads
Ever since Aubrey was 13 she had a crush on her best friend Drews older brother Declan. On her 18th birthday she gives him the ultimate gift her virginity thinking this will bring them closer that he will finally be her's but things don't happen like she wants them too, as she relises all he wanted was one thing from her sex and once he got it he didn't want her.
many years later when she has moved on with her life and has tried to forget what happened she runs into him again. Do they get together? is it just another fling or one night stand? well i suggest you read it and find out. After what Declan did to her on her 18th birthday i didn't care to much for Declan at all i actually wanted her to get with Drew but after she runs into him again he grew on me and i saw why she wanted him so much. After all is said and done the heart what it wants. I loved Drew as well he was always there for her, even when he was far away, we all need a best friend like that. I RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TO EVERYONE WHO WANTS A ROMANCE THAT MAKES YOUR HEART MELT. ill definataly be looking for new books from this author in the future.
Audrey - Heartache has struck Audrey more than once. She's been crushing on Declan since she was teenager and can't believe he's going to be the one to take her virginity away.... That's until it over and she feels rejected. Her best friend Drew is there to help comfort her after his brother basically sends her on her way. Many years later, another heartache. Audrey's fiancé is no longer in the picture. She is battling each day After being through hell and back. Blaming herself for accident that took way her Chandler. Audrey deals with each day with work and friends. Then one day, he appears in her life again... Declan
Declan- Young and dumb for sending Audrey on her way after that night. Regrets not holding her after the night, like he should have. He wakes up the next day finding out she already left. Audrey's gone. Will he ever be able to explain that night?
Another character you will fall in love with and actually question the relationship is Drew. Audrey's best friend.
Loved the book!! The way J.L Leslie sets the storyline and jumps back and forth between the past and present was easy to follow. Loved the point of views from both Audrey and Declan. Had me hanging on to each chapter. At times I wanted to reach through the book and shake a few characters.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
This book was such a good read. I was able to connect with the characters and feel the different emotions they were feeling. Aubrey is living with guilt after an accident that she has convinced herself is her fault. She also still loves her best friends brother and always has done since she was younger.
Declan is struggling with PTSD after being in the army for a few years and also now takes a more back step role in the army is still called up for missions. When he meets Aubrey again after not seeing her since her 18th birthday he realises what he left behind.
They both have to work on their own issues however to get the ending they want which doesn't help when Aubreys ex Chandler appears confusing her and making her question if she wants chandler or Declan.
I'm really looking forward to reading the next book about drew and I hope he finds someone that is understanding of his friendship with Aubrey just as much as his brother is understanding!

REVIEW
*May contain spoilers * This story involves a woman and two brothers who both love her but in different ways. Aubrey has always been apart of Declan and Drews life but as she grows up she finds her heart belongs to Declan but he does not see her in that way. Drew her best friend and confidant. There is space and a few years between things and then Aubrey runs into Declan again. Things start out shaky but get much better between them. However, things have happened to both of them over the years that threaten on so many levels.
Will this couple finally get on the same page? This was a very enjoyable read and I would recommend it for those who love romance with a twist.
I was gifted a copy of this book for my honest review. J.L. Leslie
I read this book in one sitting. When I finished it was like I had been in the story with the characters and then I had to come back to my reality! I truly love a book that can take me away like that!
Aubrey and Declan are wonderful, complex, lovable characters that I connected with immediately. Their story is gorgeous, the angst is minimal but just enough to keep you hooked.
The story is well paced and nothing feels rushed. The characters are all intriguing and each play their part nicely to tell the story.
J.L.Leslie is one hell of a story teller, I am now keen to read the next book to find out more about Declan's brother!
What an incredible journey this author takes you on in this story. It's addictive to the point of obsession as you ache hurt laugh scream and sigh with relief as you turn the pages. I don't like to rewrite the blurb on my reviews, but the characters are written with such an intricate weave into one another's lives with plots that keep you guessing the whole way through. It's packet but then has slow tender moments. The switching forward and back to different years is flawless. I was gutted when I read the last page, it's a reading experience that stays with your heart after the last page. Thank you
This is the first book I've read by this author and I've really enjoyed it,
I was really getting tired of these insta romances, so this made a nice change. I did think Declan was a tool at first but then I grew to love his character. Aubrey started off great but as the book went on, her back and forth thing she was doing between her ex and Declan just did my head in and made me want to shake her.
All in all this was a really good read and one that I would recommend.

What a fantastic book. Just my kind of book. A lot of action and a great love story about a girl who after a terrible accident and a lot of struckle finely get her life back on track. And all of a sudden the two men who has meant the most to her is back in her life and she must make a choice. I really liked this book and I felt both sadness and happiness. It is written by a fantastic author and I am looking forward to read the next book in the series
Declan and Aubry is such an amazing story! I thoroughly enjoyed the journey that they both took to come together. Everything was not rainbows and butterflies, but Declan made sure she made it through the rain.
Side note: I absolutely loved her relationship with Drew as well.
I received this eARC from the author in exchange for an honest and unbiased review of this book.
Aubrey Somers has slowly gotten her life back on track after what happened two years ago. She may take an anti-depressant every day, see a therapist every other week and still lacks the confidence to drive, but that's okay. She has her dream job, even if it comes with a "bitchy" boss, a fantastic apartment and she's still in touch and very close to her best friend from childhood, Drew, even if they do live in different cities to each other and their closeness is constantly being brought into question. Then on a night out with the girls, a blast from the past comes back to Aubrey, but does it bring back good memories? Only time will tell...
WOW! I have to say that this is one of my favourite storylines from this author, and I have been lucky enough to have been able to read and review each and every one of her books in advance. There were parts that I could completely relate to and empathise with and I believe that many people may also be able to. Maybe that's what makes this book so great, its relatability, but also because of how great its storyline is. There were parts where I had tried to guess what was about to happen and was actually a little shocked when something else occurred in the book, in a good way. There were other parts when, without giving away spoilers, things were mentioned a little too much, that I wasn't too surprised when the book took a turn and Aubrey was faced with yet another decision to make.
Just like J.L. Leslies' other books, you get to see this story told from the two main characters perspectives, Audrey and Declan. I love this aspect of the book. I love it when you get to see multiple characters perspectives in books, knowing exactly what each of the characters are thinking, feeling and what's happening. You get a clearer picture of who the character truly is, in my opinion, compared to just a first person narrative, where they could have a biased opinion of a character, providing you with a judged or biased character picture. The characters are also another great part of this book. They are so strongly developed, especially for a book that's only just over 100 pages. We get to see some of the characters developing and growing up over and through different times and periods in their lives. From 2010, 2014 and 2016, the major events that occurred during their lives. We see strong relationships developed, not just with the two main characters as you would expect but with so many more. You can see the strong and extremely close relationship between friendship, the relationship between brothers, between brothers in arms and the complicated relationship you just want to scream at.
I then got to the end of this book and was glad to get the ending that I wanted and finished reading it with a massive smile and with no disappointment whatsoever! In fact, I even got some exciting news. What I thought was just a stand alone book, turned out to be the first book in a series and there's going to be another book  The second book is going to be following one of the other characters, who we have met, Drew, called Finding Dawn! That's all anyone knows so far. So I am super excited for the second book, after enjoying this one so much.
I loved this book and I read it within hours, never putting it down once I started reading it. I loved the characters who just seemed so real and engaging and dealt with some everyday issues, such as problems at work with a boss you hate, plus a question that has always baffled me, "Why can't a man and woman be just friends?" I've never understood why people always question that. This book also dealt with mental illness, which is linked into the title, in a way that never discriminated against it. It mentioned it as an everyday thing and the treatments are a thing that were necessary for the character, never once considering never taking them, or going against them. She saw the benefits of them and actually looked forward to certain parts, such as her therapist appointments. It was good to see this because I would say that the majority of people are diagnosed or hiding a mental illness, so it's nice to see it included in this way.
J.L. Leslie was the first author whose book I first read in exchange for an honest and unbiased review, giving her feedback on her book, which also prompted me to set up my blog. Looking back on her first book, Demons From My Past, which was a stand alone book, it's amazing to see how great her books have come along. Her books have just gotten better and better. Check out some of my other reviews of some of her other books.
Definitely a 5 star rating and I highly recommend you give this book a read and that you check out some of her other books, especially the Zane series. *I do warn you that they do contain mature content*
Aubrey Somers (18, UCLA) & Drew Matthews (classmate, BMF, NYU, designs video games/websites) were best friends in HS. After graduation they went their seperate ways. After college Aubrey goes to work for Dawn as her personal stylist. Aubrey has several sexual male partners, but love doesn’t seem to be in the air for her. Declan Matthews (narrator, Drew’s brother, Aubrey’s BMF/roommate) does not help her personal matters either.
She also sees a therapist & takes medication for her depression. Drew seems to have many female lovers also but nothing seems to pan out for him. How will there futures turn out? Eden (Vella’s BFF, personal accountant) & Morgan get married.
Warning: This book contains extremely graphic adult content, violence, or expletive language &/or uncensored sexually explicit material which is only suitable for mature readers. It may be offensive to some readers.
I did not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing this book. While I receive free books from publishers & authors, I am under no obligation to write a positive review, only an honest one. All thoughts & opinions are entirely my own.
A very awesome book cover, great font & writing style. A failry well written erotic romance Novella (book). It wasn’t always very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish, but never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great erotic romance movie, or a paid-per-view mini TV series. To be contuned. This was just OK for me so I will rate it at 4/5 stars.
