Game On is by Sheryl Nantus. This book was generously provided to me in exchange for an honest review by NetGalley, St. Martin’s Press and by the author.

Sheryl Nantus:

Angela Kenzie thought she had it all. She had graduated from law school with big dreams of helping people. She got picked up by a firm in Philadelphia where she was working hard to prove herself. She got involved with a lawyer at the firm, Eric and they fell in love and became engaged. Well, she thought they were in love, until she walked in to Eric’s office and caught him with a legal secretary.

“Her career, her life, her self-esteem…
All snatched away in a second.”

sexy basketball player:

So Angela is going home to her mother in Glen Barrow to lick her wounds and figure out what to do next. What Angie doesn’t realize is that two of her former loves, one from high school and one from college, are both living in Glen Barrow. Hunter Stratham was her high school love. He is now the basketball coach at the local college. They were in love. But when Angie wanted to leave for college, Hunter had to let her go. It was her dream and he couldn’t hold her back.

sexy policeman:

Jake Weatherly is now the town police chief. They fell in love at Penn State. But after graduation, Jake had big dreams of joining the FBI and Angie was off to save the world. Again, they parted on good terms, both not wanting to say good-bye but both trying to be supportive of the other’s dreams.

Now they are both here in this town and are both single. For the first few months, Angie sees them constantly and they are very attentive but only on a friendship level. Neither of them asks her out or makes any type of romantic gesture. What is going on with these two?

Once they both start to try to win Angie’s heart in earnest, things get all kinds of complicated. Angie has loved both of these men. She still has deep feelings for them. So how can she ever choose which one she wants to be with?

“Why pick one man when she could have two?”

“This is my time.
This is what I want.
This is what I need.”

Goodreads | Recent Updates

But what would the town’s people ever think of such a relationship? Would they be ostracized? Could this really work? And just when they all think they have found their happily ever after, something else comes into their lives to complicate things.

This was an enjoyable read. I didn’t love it as much as Betting on Both, but I still liked it. I guess I didn’t feel the connection quite as strongly as I did with the other book. But I’m still glad I read it. Angela was a strong woman. She just needed a little time after first going home to remember that. As for both Hunter and Jake, Angie was always the one that got away. Now is their second chance for happiness. Will they find it, or will they have to let her go once again?

The author is bringing out the big guns with this menage story. Two hot guys and one damn lucky gal and the whole town is jealous. Great storyline that is a bit unique.

I enjoyed this book but there are a few factors that I just cannot get past. The author has the perfect opportunity to crank up the heat but it falls a bit flat for me. The writing is good, but it is missing the extra heat and the passionate words that keeps the reader engaged and panting. Even some of the sex scenes are repeats. How can you do that? Even with the action just a straight M/F/M scene, there are ways to pump it up. The three didn't even really seem to connect on a deeper level.

The ending brought us the HEA we are looking for in a romance, but I wanted more. More passion. Hotter hookups. More Depth to the story.

Good read overall, but gimme more heat and spice to really keep it hot and heavy and I will be smiling!

Game On by Sheryl Nantus
Erotic Menage Romance. Stands Alone.
It had been a while since I read a menage book, and I was looking for a hot read, so when Game On by Sheryl Nantus came out, I grabbed it right up! I especially prefer m-f-m menage, which Game On was, especially because the last books I read with menage, it seemed the two guys were more into each other, so I was excited for a little hot m-f-m action!

I finished Game On a week ago, and quite honestly, forgot most of it. I had to re-read the blurb and my notes to refresh my memory. While I liked the characters, it was all kind of forgettable to me.

After Angela finds her fiancé & co-worker screwing his legal secretary, she quits and comes back to her small town and the comfort of mom's home cooking. On the way into town she's pulled over for a broken tail light by none other than her college ex boyfriend.
"All he needed was to be holding his nightstick and handcuffs to make the fantasy complete."

Also vying for her attention was her high school ex-love, now the football coach at the local college.
"It's been a long time, Angela. I've learned a few tricks."

They are both hot, and they both want her. So Angela begins to date them both. The guys were friends, so they strike a deal to let her really get to know them before they push for a decision even though they are both totally jealous of each other. The biggest problem? She can't decide!
"You let him mark you," the slow rumble echoed through her body, setting her nerves ablaze. "Did you think I'd let that go?"

So it was Angela, not the guys who suggested that maybe she could have both of them. But they wanted her so badly, they would share her if they had to. Though the guys grew into the idea, I never felt this was their first choice in the way they want to live their lives, and it kind of made me sad for them, like they settled for this.

game on quote

I was also a bit disappointed in the heat. You expect a book advertised as menage to be super hot, right? Nope. I can't remember one scene. There was sex, and it was good, but it was nothing memorable.

Sheryl Nantus writes well, and I enjoyed reading the story, but I felt it was really missing a strong connection between the three of them, and because she knew them both so well already, I kind of missed them falling in love as they got to know each other.
Likes:

•I liked all the characters very much.
•There were some funny lines.
•Good banter.
•She was no virgin, she had had great sex with both guys in the past.

Dislikes:

•The guys only agreed because they both wanted her, and this was the only way to have her.
•It wasn't hot enough at all.
•The small town just accepted them a little too readily--the police chief & college football coach in an unconventional relationship would be big news anywhere, but a small town? They would have issues no matter how liked they are.

The Down & Dirty:
Game On had so much potential! The author wrote well, and the characters were all very likable. There was good sexual tension and banter. It was all leading up to what could have been a passionate, dirty, delicious, controversial relationship, but it all fell a little flat. I enjoyed Game On, but it needed more passion, more tension, more sex, more controversy. Just more.

Angela finds out that her finance has been stepping out on her in the most devastating way so she decides to take some time for herself and goes to her hometown, Glen Barrow, to visit with her mother. What Angie didn't expect to find when she got there was that her high school ex and college ex were both living in the small town.

Hunter was her high school sweetheart who is now the basketball coach at the local college. Angie and Hunter were in love but she wanted to go to Penn State to follow her dreams of becoming a lawyer and Hunter let her go, but will he let her go again or will he fight for her?

Jake and Angie fell in love at Penn State but after graduation they split on good terms, Jake was off to join the FBI and Angie was about to start her next chapter on becoming the lawyer she always dreamed of being. Although they ended their relationship on good terms they did not stay in touch, so when Angie sees that Jake is the police chief in her small town she is thrown for a loop.

Angie still has feelings for both men and they each still have feelings for her, so what is a girl to do? Choose the cop or the coach? Or maybe, just maybe they can make it work for all three of them to be in a relationship?

The chemistry was great between all parties involved but if you are looking for some MMF you will be disappointed because while each of the men will admit that the other is good looking that is as far as it goes with them. Angie is the only focus of Hunter and Jake's attention. This was a good menage story and it is the first book I have read by Sheryl Nantus but it wont be the last because I already have Betting on Both downloaded and ready to go.

Angela returns home to her Mom's house licking her wounds after her fiancé is caught with his dipstick in someone else's engine. Once there, both of her ex-boyfriends- one from high school and one from college, drop by to see her. They both think they possibly have a chance with her now that she's back in town. They realize both men are after the same thing and come to an understanding for Angela's sake.

After a couple of months of friend encounters with both men, Angela is worried something is wrong with her. She's drawn to both men and doesn't want to have to choose. They both spark something in her that she hadn't felt in a long, long time. Angela comes up with a proposition for them all. Surrender to them both. Only problem? She has to convince them to go along.

I really enjoyed this story! The characters never intended to have a menage. They just fell into it. Angela wanted to try it and figured then it would be done. None of them ever figured they could really make it work. I loved how they continued to adjust to make it work for them.

We were treated to a lot of sexy banter and lovely sex scenes to get your motor running! And even though I liked them, I somehow thought the later scenes lacked any originality or deeper connections. I felt like I craved that and it never got any hotter for me. Other than a bit more heat, Game On was a good, solid read that I wholeheartedly recommend!

Triggers: Cheaters
I was given this book for an honest review by Wicked Reads.

This was my first book by Nantus. I really enjoyed her writing style.

I love how Mary-Ann reacts to the information Angela brings home about Eric. It is exactly how I pictured it in my head. Nantus writes in a manner that allows the reader to really see the picture - feel the emotions.

Angela is healing from being betrayed by Eric and in doing so, puts herself in a very lucky situation. Two of her old boyfriends are now living in her home town. When they realize that they want another chance with Angela, both are willing to go to great lengths to achieve a relationship.

While I admit that at first I hated how juvenile both Jake and Hunter behaved, as the story developed, I found that I liked their show of possessiveness.

The chemistry between Angela and the two men of her life is off the charts. Where I think that I had the most difficulty with the story was with how quickly things went from "let's try" to full blown relationship.

Overall, this was entertaining, however, it was also kind of the same story that has been told before. Girl gets her heart broken, old boyfriend is there to pick up the pieces.

Similar to her book, Betting on Both, the characters in this novel do not set out to have a menage relationship and surprisingly it is the idea of the heroine. In this instance, Angela realizes that she wants both of her former boyfriends, Hunter and Jake back in her life so she propositions them. While the heroine thinks it may not work she wants to just try it one night and see what comes of it. I have to say I really enjoyed this approach as the characters all tried to learn together how to make a menage relationship. Plenty of steamy scenes and fun banter and friendly competition between the two heroes as they both tried to let Angela decide the future for all three characters. After all, why should the men make all the decisions?

I got this book for an honest review on Netgalley and I loved it!

http://thesecretworldofbooklovers.blo...

It's the first one I've read from the author and I found her writing really good and the story was super entertaining, and of course, it's a threesome book, so what's not to love ?!

Angela was an amazing character, she was taken down by life but she didn't let it break her, she was back on the horse and she took control of her life again.
Her way of commanding these two guys was insane and so sexy, she had them at her mercy.

At the same time Jake and Hunter owned her, she knew they were what she wanted, and that's what made this such a hard choice.

Both guys were perfect in their own way, they both let her go the first time, and now they have to choose again.

It was an Amazing read and a beautiful love story, it teaches us that love is different for everyone and some way or another we all eventually find our happy ever after.

I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.

Angela comes home with her tail tucked between her legs, fleeing her ex-fiance Eric and her job in Philadelphia, wanting to heal and figure out how her life got so turned upside down. Little does she know that two of her former lovers are now living in her hometown.

After running into both men, Hunter and Jake, she realizes that the attraction that she felt for them so longer ago is still there. Hunter and Jake realize that Angela is a fragile place and agree not to pursue her until she has her feet back under her -- three months and that's it.

And Angela has had enough, enough of the friendship and and hand holding they both have been giving her and confronts them both. Angela now needs to choose between two men or does she?

I really liked this book and can't wait to read more from the author.

This is the first book I have read by Sheryl Nantus. It was ok. Didn't love it but I didn't hate it. I think all of the menage books I have read have two guys who have partnered before or participated in menage before. The idea that the h in this one got the ball rolling and convinced two guys who had never done that before was an interesting twist. It was a little akward that the guys really seemed to have prefered that they each just had her to themselves but caved because it was the only way they could have her. They just went along with absolutely anything she said so she would be "happy". There was a lot of sex but too tame in relation to other menage books I've read. Really though the book just seemed to drag on with not a whole lot going on.

Thanks to NetGalley for a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I'd rate this 3.5 stars because it was a quick and easy read, but I'm rounding it down for Goodreads. Initially I became caught up in the story, but then things slowed down considerably and it was slow going. The story focuses on a women who returns to her hometown to find her two ex-boyfriends living there and both still wanting her. But since she wants them both, they end up in a menage relationship. It seemed a little rushed and surprising to me, but perhaps it really is that easy. I did find the characters appealing, but it was their connection that was lacking. Even though they got together for a threesome (which indicates a strong level of commitment), there just wasn't enough fire or passion somehow, something was missing to make it seem believable. In addition, I found the plot to be pretty improbable at times, especially when there was absolutely no reaction to their living together in this small town. Really? Not one single person objected or reacted in any way? It was explained away that all of them were well-known and well-liked, but it still seemed unbelievable. On the plus side, the story wasn't ALL about the sex, but it was about life changes and decisions and working together. This added a bit more depth to a story that might otherwise have been one-dimensional.

Angela comes home after catching her fiancé with another woman. Upon hitting her hometown she is stopped by the police chief who turned out to be her old flame from college. She also runs into her old high school boyfriend. Both want her and she wants both. Can she decide who she wants? Will she decide to stay in her hometown? Will the two men make her decide?

I enjoyed this story. I liked the characters. I enjoyed the dynamics between Angela, Jake, and Hunter. Watching as Angela introduces ideas the guys never thought was fun. Once they start thinking on Angela's ideas, they start having their own. Seeing them work out their problems as they come up sets an example to follow. I also loved the ending. It made me happy.

Received an ARC from NetGalley for an honest review.

I do appreciate when a character knows what they want. When Angela returns to her hometown after her fiancé cheats on her, she's surprised to find the two past loves of her life. With both vying for her attention, she doesn't want to choose...and so she doesn't. Hot but not overly in your face. Some of the secondary characters weren't too fleshed out, which might have added a little to their story and I could have used a little more Hunter and Jake bonding...but overall a decent read.

Just terrible.
That book was a dream out of a woman's fantasy. the characters had no real personnalities. The two guys were just there to please the girl and do whatever she wanted and praise her on being stong and always getting whatever she wanted.
basically there was nothing else. no plot. no character development either. nothing real happening between the guys except from punching each other because of the girl...
moving on.

It was an okay short read for Menage book. Sometimes it was hard to follow because, though it was written in third person, there were first person parts and It would randomly change the POV. So it took a second to realize that this sentence is the other person and the new sentence is the new person. Add to that throwing in first person, in a third person written book was just weird.

But ultimately, she got back with her high school love and her college love and made it work.

I got this book years ago and I am now reviewing it because...life
Spicy!! I would give this read 4.5 out of 5 on the spice level. It was a bit of a wait for the spicy but it was worth it. You know from the cover you are in for a naughty read. I thought the story moved well for the length. It was a fast one setting read. I would read it again and recommend this book.

In Game On by Sheryl Nantus, one woman realizes that she can't decide between the two men she loves, so she wants to keep them both. But how exactly does that work?

Angela is headed back to her small hometown with a broken heart. Recently, she found out that her fiancé had been cheating on her. Adding insult to injury, she and her cheating ex work at the same law firm; needless to say, it would be awkward at best if she stayed. Angela has decided to leave the firm--as well as the city--and retreat to the small town of Glen Barrow, where she grew up.

Not long after her return, Angela gets pulled over by the police due to a broken taillight. When the officer steps up to Angela's car, she realizes it's none other than her college boyfriend, Jake. They're both shocked to see each other and a lingering, mutual attraction is evident.

As Angela settles back into her mother's house for the time being, she also runs into her high school sweetheart, Hunter. Hunter is now the coach for the local college basketball team. When he and Angela reconnect, it's clear that there's still a spark between them as well.

Each man separately tries to date Angela, but it quickly becomes obvious that there's a real competition for her affections at stake. Fed up with how the men are treating her as if she's a trophy to be won, Angela asserts her will and declares her true desires: that she doesn't just want one man or the other, she wants them both.

I've got to hand it to Angela: this woman isn't afraid to speak her mind and go after the things she wants, both in her career as well as her personal life. In this case, what she wants is Jake and Hunter. At first, the men aren't sure how this arrangement will work. Truth be told, Angela isn't sure, either. Together, they figure out the logistics of how the three of them can be in a relationship. This includes reining in jealousy between the two men as well as how the people of the town will perceive their unconventional relationship.

My only complaint about the book--and it's a small one--is that I was hoping the heat level would get turned up even more before the end of the book. The book is definitely steamy as it is, but in a ménage scenario there are lots of possibilities and I would have liked to see more of them explored.

What I loved the most about the book is the amount of love that's obvious between the three characters. Angela has history with both men and she never stopped caring for either of them, even though they had spent years apart. Likewise, both Jake and Hunter always held a torch for Angela, so when she re-enters their lives, it only makes sense that they'd be drawn to each other again.

I think the author did a great job of making the relationship realistic. Both men are assertive and at least in the beginning, there's quite a bit of competition between them. This persists until Jake and Hunter talk to each other like adults and realize that the arrangement isn't just about what either of them wants--it's about Angela's desires and making her happy. When they have that epiphany, the relationship really develops between the three of them.

In turn, Angela goes from being heartbroken and hopeless to a truly empowered woman who gets exactly what she wants in life. When an unexpected career opportunity presents itself to Angela, she must decide how to choose between the life she thinks she wants and the happiness she already has.

To sum up, I really enjoyed Game On and highly recommend it. I'm looking forward to reading more from this author in the future.

There are some sexy times in this book, but the story really didn't engage me. What's not to like about two men falling all over themselves to pleasure you? Well, that wasn't the real problem I guess.  The characters don't set out to be in a menage relationship, but seem to easily fall into in some ways and not so much in others. Throw in large time gaps that leave you hanging on what is happening.

Finding your man banging another lady isn't a good way to keep Angela Kenzie. Angela quits her job as a lawyer, and moves back home with her mother, ready to start life over and become the hometown local lawyer. Mending her broken heart, she is attacked by memories of her college boyfriend, now the town Sheriff, Jake. Oh and let's not forget her high school boyfriend that ending things with her so she could go achieve her dreams, Hunter, who is now the local college basketball coach.

The two men haven't forgotten just how wonderful Angela is, but neither are willing to give up their hope of winning her heart again. They agree to give Angie a break of 3 months before all bets are off. She's offended when she finds out, but neither man is going to let her keep her anger when hey both want to win her. While she dates each, she finally decides she wants both and isn't going to settle.

So begins the two men becoming sort of friends, but still not forgetting they want forever with her. She gets two men making her pleasure their top goal.

And that is where it all fell short for me. I just wasn't feeling the two guys. I mean they weren't into each other. That's fine, but they are jealous a lot. Natural, but it felt wrong all around. They don't come to terms easily, but it never felt right as they tried to work it out. They all felt it was temporary until it wasn't and then a aha moment towards the end to figure out if it could really work out.

It just wasn't fun, sexy or interesting for most of the story. I just felt uncomfortable with each of them. And that is what led me to not like most of the story. Angie's experiences make her want more and I supported that. The men each seemed to know right away they wanted her for the long term, which seemed off since they both hadn't been around her for years. Hunter living in his father's house he bought, while Jake lives above a bakery he rented with his ex-wife. Angela lives at home. So they rent hotel rooms out of town until they decide to meet at Hunter's house.

Jake make things exciting with his handcuff's, while Hunter mostly bored me. I just didn't like the characters. I didn't detest them either. They just left me wanting to find a new story. So unfortunately, I can only give this 3 stars because it is well written, just not a story I enjoyed.

After catching her fiance cheating on her with his legal secretary, she decides to go home. During her trip Angela is stopped for a busted tail light, only to discover that the Police Chief, is her ex boyfriend from college, Jake. They had broken up because he wanted to go to Quantico to join the FBI, and she wanted to go to law school.

When word spreads around town, she gets a visit from her high school ex-boyfriend, Hunter, who is now the local college basketball coach. They broke up because Angela wanted to go to Penn State and Hunter didn't know where he was going, but he had to help his family. Now they're all in the same town and she is drawn to both of them. Angela still loves them both and they both love her. Will she be able to choose or take her assistants advice and choose them both? Will she choose her aspirations again leaving the men behind, or choose them?

Jake and Hunter are both sexy alpha men that were there for her in different periods of her life, but her aspirations broke them up. They set out to win her heart, not to end up in a menage, but its what Angela needed. I really enjoyed this story! Watching these three characters get to know each other again, and build a relationship that they weren't sure would work, but the guys wanted to do whatever it took to make Angela happy. After getting to know Hunter and Jake it was obvious what she saw in them and why she couldn't choose. This story was enjoyable and different from other menage stories I've read. I loved how Angela would take control of a situation and let the guys have a piece of her mind when the situation warranted it. Great book!

What does a girl do when she catches her fiance, now ex fiance, cheating? She goes home to mom for a good home cooked meal (ok it was only mac and cheese, but that fixes everything, right). Angela's headed down the road and gets pulled over by a cop. Great, could this day get any worse. Yea well, she had to wonder...which produced Jake, her boyfriend from when she was in college. Wait...he wanted to be in the FBI, why would he settle for her hometown? What happened to his dream, how did he give it up? He still looks really great and she seems to still have feelings for him. This could be an interesting visit.

Hunter hears Angela is back in town and he wants to see her. Her and Hunter dated in high school. Their relationship was intimate and he can't forget how good it was. She sees him and hmmm...she still has feelings for him, as well.

After some time, she decides the only thing she can do is have them both! I like the way this girl thinks!! But, is this a good thing or bad thing having them both? You'll have to read this story to find out!

I did enjoy this book! The story was interestingly captivating and different from other M/F/M books I've read. I loved Hunter and I loved Jake and I can't blame her one bit for wanting both!! Love the bantering between them and the hot scenes were hot (but could have been hotter). Great book!!

Marie's Tempting Reads Netgalley ARC Review:

So normally I ADORE menage romances..but this one was honestly, a lot disappointing. It lacked spark and chemistry and just the plot fell a little flat for me. I don't usually write negative reviews because its not often I find a romance book that didn't appeal to me. But this one really didn't sit well for me and it saddened me.

The characters to me, weren't as interesting as the blurb made them sound. And the blurb kind of confused me, and I ended up having to have read it twice for it to have made sense. I still had hope though, but the story just was very...blah. If this was ever edited real well, and the story re-written, and things change, I bet this story could be OUTSTANDING.

I give Game On a TWO STARS! It lacks emotions and spark and a whole lot of chemistry. And this title had SO much potential too.

I liked Game On more than I liked Betting On Both, the first ménage story by Sheryl Nantus that I read. In Game On, Angela goes back to her hometown to find that she's still got feelings for her college and high school boyfriends. She can't choose between the two of them and why should she when she can have both?

Yeah, that pretty much sums it up. I liked the history of these characters and thought that, though it was unrealistic in my opinion for them to enter a ménage relationship, I was glad they got to, ahem, reconnect. This one was a bit steamier than the other, but still pretty standard. I just feel like if you're going to write a ménage story, go for it. Make it so hot we can't even stand it.

Game On didn't have that. If you like ménage stories, go ahead and check out Game On by Sheryl Nantus. You might like it.

Game On is well written with intriguing, likable characters. Their chemistry is sexy and their backstory made their current relationship fascinating.

Angie has just come back to her hometown after finding her fiance cheating on her. On the way back, she's pulled over by her college boyfriend, who is now the Chief of Police in her hometown. She's intrigued by the fact that she is still attracted to him. Then, she gets a visit from her high school boyfriend, a coach at the local university. And damn, she's amazed to find she's still attracted to him, too. What's a girl to do with all these hot men that she's still attracted to and treat her so well. Well, she doesn't do anything for three months because they're perfect gentlemen to her and treat her as a friend. Until the day she demands an explanation from them. Then it's game on...

I love how possessive of Angie both men are, and how strong and take charge Angie is, both with her men and in her life. She's a great character, as are both Jake and Hunter. Their banter, their steamy connection, and really their whole relationship is intriguing and sexy. I am definitely now a big fan of Sheryl Nantus and will be reading more of her work.

In this story, both men had prior relationships with the lead female. It is kind of a game of may the best man win for her heart. There is strong sexual chemistry between the female and each man, which lead to some hot sex scenes in this story. They have a few scuffles, some bumps in the road, and a lot of sex and love on their way to a happily ever after. There were a few times I wanted to smack these characters because they were being dumb and frustrating, but it didn't last long. This was an enjoyable read. There was no sexual relationship between the two men.

Two men for Angela. One is her high school boyfriend and the other her college love. After being betrayed by her fiancé, Angela goes back to her hometown to heal her heart and start over. She opens her own law practice, lives with her mother, and rekindles her romance with both men. At the same time. Sounds like every woman’s dream? It sure was Angela’s. While it worked between the three of them, I found the story lacking enough conflict to keep me engaged and wanting to read more. The story was well written, but I lacked what I needed to stay interested. Hunter and Jake got along too well and were too eager to please Angela. They fought, but it fell flat and just became boring as the story went on. Both men easily agreed to share her as a ménage. Huh? It was too agreeable to be believable for me. Overall, it was an ok read, but fell flat and didn’t meet my expectations.

Angela is a lawyer and after finding her boyfriend cheating on her she decides to move back home to her small hometown. She doesn't expect to find two of her ex boyfriends living there. Jake is a hot police chief that she dated in college and Hunter, which she dated in high school is the basketball coach.

She opens her own law office in her small town while living with her mother. She never expected Jake and Hunter to both be there. Both Jake and Hunter never got over Angela, they both want to date her. What will Angela do? Does she pick Jake or Hunter? Or can she just date both of them? When she make her decision can Jake and Hunter go along with it? Can she date both men and will both men be ok with it? The story was well written and moved along at a great pace. It was definitely a page turner and can't wait to read more from this author. Reviewed on behalf of Once Upon an Alpha.

First, I want to say that I 'm sorry I had to put such a low score. This just wasn't for me.
When I saw a menagé book, I thought, 'Oh this sounds good', because I hadn't read any. That wasn't the problem. The problem was that I felt there was no plot, just SEX, SEX, eating and them sex again.
Also, in the steamy scenes there was something that didn't completely click.
The characters were fine and her mother in particular was hilarious. I just think the author should have given more details, maybe about their jobs, and she shouldn't have skipped ahead so many times.
Basically, if you want a sex-based book, instead of a plot-based book, this might be your book. But if you like complex plots, maybe you'd like another one better.

Angela leaves her job and heads back home after she finds her boyfriend cheating. Angela is a down to earth character. I loved her interaction with her mom. Once she is back in town, she finds out her high school ex, Hunter, is a basketball coach in town and her college ex, Jake, is the town Police Chief. When their paths cross there is still attraction there. Both Jake and Hunter are sexy hot, sweet guys. They decide to give Angie time to get over her broken heart. They treat her as friend which frustrates her. As they take it further than friendship Jake and Hunter act a little childish. I knew this book was a M/F/M romance but with Jake and Hunter not very friendly with each other I was wondering how the author was going to pull it together. She did pull all three of them together nicely.

4 1/2 Stars!!

I didn't love and I didn't hate it.

This book had so much potential, but it felt very rushed to me. I didn't feel the depth between any of the characters. I thought the two guys needed more of a back story; I think they should have been friends before Angela came back to town. They act like they're friends, but there really isn't a story to support that.

For a book with such a hot cover, the steaminess of the book didn't match it. Scenes were minimized and often repeated instead of focusing on how the three make it work.

Everyone reacted way too nicely to a menage to me; no one batted an eye? Really? It's just too hard to believe. It would have been a great addition to the story to read how the three dealt with some backlash from their new relationship.
