Bear Mountain #11

Finding His Two Bears

Rate this book
After his brother was savagely beaten by their father, Jamie McCreary knows they can’t go back home. He, Colton, and Penn disappear one night, planning to eventually come back for his brothers. Life outside the bear world isn’t as easy as it looks, and it takes twelve years for the trio to finally find their way home.

On their way, they’re attacked while crossing through the reservation. Luckily, new Bear Mountain deputy Will Collins stumbles across the males and rushes them to the clinic—all while trying to ignore the deep-seated and confusing lust he feels for the eldest of the three.

Dr. Logan Sinclair doesn’t believe in brother bears or mates… but his beliefs are about to be tested when Jamie and Will run into his clinic. Can he let go of the past and embrace a new future before the alpha exiles three more McCrearys?

(Originally reviewed for Love Bytes Reviews with a copy provided by the publisher / author for an honest review.)

Finally we find out what happened to the three missing McCreary boys! We’ve heard about them in previous books, but never knew their full story.

Jamie, Colton and Penn McCreary ran away one night after one of their abusive fathers beat Colton nearly to death. It has always been their plan to come back for the brothers they left behind and to deal with their abusers.

Well, times were tough out in the human world, and it has taken twelve years for them to earn enough to come back and get their brothers. But things won’t be that easy. They run into the werewolves on the nearby reservation on their way home, and they are barely able to make it back to Bear Mountain.

Then, when things should be good, they find that the bears of Bear Mountain don’t want anything to do with them! They are the thieving McCreary boys…good for nothings…socially undesirable outcasts.

The new Bear Mountain Deputy, Will Collins, who we met in book ten is also back. As is Logan, the Doctor / bear shifter that I mentioned in my review of book ten. If you remember, I said that I loathed him. Guess I spoke too soon. Turns out I really liked him this time! I really liked how several different things were tied up in this book. But it wouldn’t be Kelex if there weren’t hints right at the end of book about the next triad in the story! And did I mention there is a visit from the Bear Gods in this one??? This one is also quite a bit longer than the other installments, so more to love.

If you’ve been reading along, you will know that these books really need to be read in order. I recommend you give this series a try if you haven’t already. If you are into bear shifters, triads, male pregnancy and double penetration…this should be your go to series!

Finally, in closing, a personal observation. As a reviewer, I seriously thought I’d get bored with this series as it continued, but other than one book that I was a little less than excited about, the entire series is very readable and keeps my attention. It also keeps me anticipating the next installment!

Komme gerne hier her.

WOW! When Kelex said this book was a beast - boy, that's still putting it lightly! There was SO MUCH AWESOMENESS GOING ON. I can't even!

Ok, first off...love that we get to see the oldest McCreary boys and what happened to them...my heart broke for how they were treated, by their fathers and when they first get back. Also, I was so happy to see that this would be Will and Logan's story, and I just LOVED the chemistry between them and Jamie all together. Seriously, yum. And I loved that we kinda got back to 2 bears and 1 human pairing since its been all bears/shifters lately...and I say kinda, because...yeah...

Next! I equally loved how we got to revisit the couple that started it all, Royce, Jared, and Carson. It's funny, I went back to read my review...not a huge fan of Royce then, and I still wanted to slap him 10 stories later haha. But seriously, I loved getting to see that these couples still have issues after their own story's HEA.

I don't think I would have thought that this series would become THIS when the first BM book came out and it was my first book I had ever read from Kelex. It's truly amazing the world that Kelex has created, characters you love, expanding plots and conflicts, and keeps me DEMANDING FOR MORE. (Seriously...20 stories, ok???!) it's one of my all time favorite shifter/mpreg series to date and I cannot recommend it highly enough if m/m/m and mpreg is your thang! But please start with book 1 as the overall plot and worldbuilding spans the whole series!

CANNOT wait for Brandon, Zander, and Colton!!!!!!

Sorry...I think I fangirled a bit too hard in this review.

Beautiful

Another great addition to the series! Logan, Jamie and Will are so well suited and let's be honest, hot together. Sure they have a few missteps along the way but their attraction, love and caring for and of each other is beautiful. What a great way to end their book too.
Looking forward to Colton's story. He deserves a HEA and I for one cannot wait to read what Kelex has in store for him. Brandon and Zander seem perfect.
A MUST read!

Eldest of the dreaded McCreary brothers, Jamie, gets his fated mates in Dr. Logan from book 10, and human deputy Will from the rez. A nice update on book 1's Royce, Jared and Carson. And a glimpse of book 12 and the new growing confrontation with the werewolves on the reservation.

Pretty awesome

Once again, I'm glad that the bigotry and prejudice inherant in the society that everyone grew up with on Bear Mountain is now coming to light and being rejected by Declan and his council. If anyone needed the support of their community, it would be the McCreary boys.
