A short essay about secular magic that is free from the religious and cultural references that usually surround it.

I am an internet graffiti artist, a hipster hermetic kabbalist with atheist overtones who has some seriously good tastes in music. I have been interested in the mechanics of the esoteric from a young age. By applying ‘hacker’ or ‘phone phreak’ culture, I explore color and symbology and am fascinated when it gives the appearance of working.

I have studied a variety of teachings and systems which I have incorporated into my artwork, making each uniquely my own. Color combined with symbolism seems to have a deep impact on the conscious. Like Marie Curie, I approach modern alchemy with no regards for personal safety. I just want to know what can be done with modern technology, networks, and focused intent.
