I'm usually a fan of anthologies and seeing that this was from Sherry Shahan (writer of blowtorch@psycho.com from Bone Chillers, as well as an entry in the Eerie, Indiana book series), I was excited for this. Most of these stories were pretty forgettable, though even the ones that weren't great still had redeeming qualities. This was clearly meant for young readers, which is made apparent by the stories going out of their way to educate the audience. (Shahan's favorite subject in school was science, if I had to guess) I wanted to give this a lower rating at first, but this was a short and fun read that I'm definitely not upset with. Although I won't go in with super high expectations, I look forward to reading more of Shahan's horror stuff.
