It was very boring. I think this story started as a young adult and a scene was added to the very end to make it 'adult-ish'. It wasn't what I would call steamy.
Truthfully, I'm still not sure if it shouldn't be qualified as Young Adult even with the added scene. I guess that statement pretty much sums up the 'Romance' and since Dietrich is a bear shifter, there is your 'Paranormal' aspect.
It has some redeeming qualities. Well, if you are a young adult, say from 16 to 21, you might like it.
There is a couple of editing problems. Only one of them hurts the story.
Mostly, I'm just glad it was a short read. Honestly, it could have been half the length it is.
It is definitely not anywhere near the worst I have read.
Umm, trying to think of nice things to say, but I think I have said it all.

4 stars: Narration by Meghan Kelly
Dietrich and Elise’s story is short and sweet but I didn’t feel the connection to the characters like I wished I had. I do enjoy the Bear Dating Agency series, this story just was a bit on the rushed through. I have clicked the next two books in this series and will be listening to them shortly, I’m curious to see what the others shifters have to share with us

Although I thought they said I love you a little too quickly I couldn’t even remember the timeline because the story was so fast paced and that didn’t hinder my enjoyment at all, it actually made me like it even more because it seemed like it was spanning over a longer amount of time. And it was oh so sweet.☺️

I lIke this girl, she takes what she wants and she wants Dietrich!!!!
Elise Davenport just wants to get away from all the hoop baloo she started with the media when she made a comment about a fellow model. She decides to visit her friend Karina Vasquez who has started a Dating Agency sign up and maybe have some unattached fun. Little did she count on taking a wrong turn on her hike through Fairhaven Park and running into a grizzly and then being saved by another! Dietrich Best is one of the 5 Best grizzly shifter Park Rangers in Fairhaven Park, the oldest and most level headed of his clan, but the quiet one, except when he gets home after fighting off the other bear in the park in order to protect the BBW. He finds himself talking much more than usual to the beauty he just fought for.
This has been such a fun trip to Fairhaven and the love life of these hunky Park Rangers. Love, action and suspense all rolled up in one bundle, how cool is that? Oh don't forget the drooling passion.

She is to send some time with nature, and but she meets some bears. She cozy’s up to a family of shifters and has her eye on one of them.
Dietrich, signed up with a dating agency not thinking his perfect match would quiet latterly step in to his path.
I enjoyed this short story and I love how Meghan does a male voice. Its unique and I like it. I said that already didn’t I? Well no worries I liked it.

Many shorts make this book quite long.
Despite the title this is more than one story. There are many short stories in this book.
Reading was made difficult by the order in which the stories are in the book.
Lots of hot scenes between the characters in each short writing. Some of the people could use a bit of development and polish.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review and quite honesty... there hasn't been a book by Becca Fanning that I didn't like. Dietrich is the first book in the new Bear Shifter Dating Agency series. It's a quick, very enjoyable read.

Dietrich is the first book in the Bear Dating Agency series. However, the series title is a little deceiving because while the person who runs the dating agency recommended the mountains where Elise could got to lay low away from the media, you never see anything about either Elise or Dietrich meeting with her (although both have) and there was no date set up between the couple. I liked the story. Overall it was fun, but definitely a quick listen/read, coming in at just over an hour. There was not much steam, nor was there much of the couple getting to know each other. I liked that Dietrich is kind of shy, which you don't see much in romance. Overall it was a fun escape that I had on in the background while working.

Elise was just looking for a vacation getaway
Elise left on vacation hoping life back home would settle down while she was away. Instead, it keeps swirling, and get interesting right where she is at.
Dietrich is a Park Ranger. He and his family have a special relationship with the environment, and it is played up nicely here.

🐻🐻🐻🐻 A great quick read about a sexy bear shifter Dietrich, an an feisty outspoken model Elise . Elise gets lost in the woods on on her way to a cabin she rented to get away from LA after she gave her opinion about models who have been "enhanced". They quickly fall for each other in an instant-love. You get to meet the rest of the Best clan and I look forward to reading the rest of the series

A really sweet and short shifter story
This was a nice story about Elise who rents a cabin in the mountains to get away from the city. She has a run in with a drizzly bear but is rescued. Then meets Dietrich, a bear shifter, who attracts and calms her and gives her a sense of peace. Together they try for a hea.

Very quick read. I was disappointed because it could have been so much more. Just meeting then falling into bed then the end. I enjoy reading Becca Fanning's Bear Dating Books but this one let me down.

I don't want to be mean and say that this story is stupid.
It's just not smart.
I know short stories are supposed to be quick, but this story was faster than light and the actual contents in it were not pleasant. Thank goodness, this story was free.

This book is short sweet and to the point. I would have loved a few more details. While it did end with a happily ever after it would make a good intro into a series. It would be nice to get his brothers a happily ever after too.

Bear shifters, yeah okay i can deal with that but its a shame that the book lacks passion, heat and a steamy love scene... Wanted more of the tale, Bear dating agency? huh? Yeah, it has the making of being a best seller if (only) there was more of an actual dating agency!

Really enjoyed the authors writing style but just didn’t love the story itself. WAY too OTT on the insta love, and I mean the ending - c’mon! Lol. Would defo pick up something else by the author but won’t be following on this series.
