I consider myself, by average standards, to be fairly organized and somewhat innovative in figuring out storage options for everything from linens to scrap lumber in my home and workshop, but when Sunset Books says "complete" book of home storage, they're not kidding! There are lots of great ideas I never thought of, diagrams, suggestions, plans. I particularly liked their attention to using otherwise "dead" space for inventive storage, and like all of Sunset's how-to books, clear illustrations and great photographs make theoretical ideas easy to imagine, plan, and realize in your own home.
Excellent source for storage ideas! This book not only gives you suggestions and ideas, it tells you HOW to install or build these ideas. You can learn about all the special cabinets, handles, hooks, boxes, and bins. This book also offers suggestions for anyone who may be in a wheel chair and needs to convert the home for accessibility. Once all the processes and tools are explained, the book continues with room by room suggestions and wonderful pictures. Sure wish I could afford to remodel!
A well-done book, it includes lots of ideas and pictures. I felt that it was organized in a logical fashion and the lighting was informative but not too dull. It included a few ideas I hadn't ever run across in my reading of decor and organization articles/books.
