This book is a must read for those who wish to transform into a better version of themselves. It is challenging and motivating in all the right areas. I love how the book is so practical and can apply to anyone in any walk of life. The author, Courtney Roberts, is so relatable and her words are so easy to connect with; I just couldn't put the book down!

Truly inspirational. The book is filled with wisdom that is only found by spending time searching your soul and reflecting upon your current state, and what your goal is for your future self. The concepts are simple enough in thought, so anyone can read this and understand, but the true challenge lies in the hard work of practicing those concepts.

One suggestion I have for the reader (and something I'll be doing when I read this book my second time around) it to really take this book in, slow down. Intentionally read it over a number of days, in short bursts. That way you can take the time needed to reflect and allow the author's thoughts on self revelation take hold of your life. If you are like me and really love to get through a book, then read it twice as I will be doing.

I've had the pleasure of reading Something Beautiful, and I found it very inspiring. Since reading it, I find myself looking for the beautiful things in my everyday life. I am appreciating the little things that I may have overlooked before. Courtney's passionate approach to making these life changes radiates through her book, and her joy in discovery is absolutely contagious. She addresses her reader with an encouragement and enthusiasm that speaks on a personal level. Her inclusion of songs and playlists to get you through the days is fantastic. I plan on reading this again with some of those fun songs playing in the background!

This book would have scored better for me if it had more substance and less throwing in a mix of "yoga, meditation and antidepressants" all over. I did enjoy the song suggestions at the end of each chapter to kind of affirm the ideas in that specific chapter (although I never bothered to look them up and listen to them). Having actual recordings of the music suggested at the end of each chapter would have made it very a different and perhaps a more pleasurable experience.
The author tried too hard not to sound like she is boasting, I guess. However, she came off more as a failure to me, that should be reading a better version of the book, rather than writing it herself. I was given a free audiobook copy from Audiobook Boom in exchange for my fair and unbiased review.
I found that the narrator was perfectly matched for the book- which made her just as disappointing at times when I wanted to find more sincerity and actual advice rather than a string of words.

This book is geared toward a younger audience than me but I really enjoyed the book. The concepts and the idea of a music list is wonderful. I even found some music that I love and didn't know about. Rebecca Hansen is the narrator and she does a good job. I would recommend this book to anyone but I think a 20ish would really enjoy it. I was gifted this book by AudioBoom with the understanding that I would leave an honest review.

This book is full of practical applications for how to improve your mindset and make real change in your life. It's short, sweet, and to the point - no getting bogged down in pages upon pages of intellectual theory. Everything is easily understood. :)
