August 24, 2016i couldn't sleep last night so i picked up my book and started reading
it spelled bound me right at the beginning and keep me that
way . before i realized it it was 2:30 a.m. i finished reading this evening
and found it very intriguing . the story was great and the writing made
it feel like i was there and it was really happening. BUT i found the ending
a little disappointing. i wished the author had gone just a little further
and i felt a little hanging. i would have liked to have seen at least one of the
killers caught. But i would read her other four books. and pass them on
THIS IS ONE OF THE FREE GIVEAWAYS FOLKS THAT I WON SMILE

I was lucky enough to be given a copy of The Vanished in the giveaways section on here and enjoyed it thoroughly. I was gripped from the beginning with the trial and was intrigued to see where the story would go. I only gave it 4* rather than 5 because, in my opinion, it tailed off somewhat in the middle and was slightly disappointed in the ending (don't want to give anything away though!) but other than that was a great read. Will look into more books by this author.

Really enjoyed this book. Its a hard subject to visualize. It reflects reality very well as well as adding the classic fictionalisation.
I did fine the relationship between 2 characters (wont name names for spoilers) a bit Bleurrghh and cheesy towards the end but im quick to forgive that as I enjoyed it.
The way it finished was also good..again not wanting to give anything away this just proves its not always the perfect ending,things still need to be worked at for people to come to justice.

Another one of my goodreads Firstreads.
I really enjoyed this book right up until the end, which could of been amazing, kind of felt like when one of your favourite tv shows gets cancelled and the last episode leaves loads of things out and then thats it.
This was really well written to begin with, engrossing, and good strong characters, luckily it just touches on the abuse and doesnt go into too much detail on that subject. Just imagine you get the proper ending that this deserved. I'm kind of thinking should I just rewrite the end myself and send it to the publisher.

As with all of the books in the Trevor Joseph Detective series, I thoroughly enjoyed this one. I recommend this series to anyone who enjoys a really good mystery.
