Tsutomu Nihei (弐瓶 勉 Nihei Tsutomu, born 1971) is a Japanese manga artist. His cyberpunk-influenced artwork has gained a strong cult following. He has a relatively large community of fans in Germany where his manga Blame!, NOiSE and Biomega were published by Ehapa. Blame! was also published in France and Spain by Glénat, in the US by Tokyopop and in Italy by Panini Comics.

At first he studied architecture and later it is shown up in his manga works with drawing huge structures. This became one of his general theme that makes his manga unique. His works are usually in black and white. He is also an avid fan of the video game series Halo, as he mentions in his commentary section in the Halo Graphic Novel.

So much action, so many fights, gigantic structures everywhere, endless gunfire, and absolutely no context for half of it! Okay, I have a rough idea of what’s going on, but it’s still not completely clear!!

From now on, I’m just going to sit in my armchair, put on my glasses, grab some popcorn, and enjoy the ride!!!

That’s it. I’ve accepted my fate…

The main AI of the silicon creatures trying to breach the NET-SPHERE.

The Governor's trying to prevent via.. withing the river?? HEY THEIR ON THE MATRIX EVERYTHING MAKES SENSE.

The dude is the bad guy

Meanwhile Killy and Dhomochevsky's killing the main AI's body in the physical world.

During that fight Chibo tries to scribe herself into the capsules gene-info that totally backfire on her.


Currently her body is not her own. A lvl-9 safe guard is now using it to kill Killy and the special safeguard.


On the side note This f*cker is back AGAIN


Also Killy is almost gets destroyed during this fight and now trying to repair,reboot and cooldown himself.The biggest question here is how long did he takes to run himself again

Killy reunites with Cibo and Dhomo seems to have gotten the upper hand on Pcell, the silicon assassin, but the latter already took the gene sample from them. They must get it back before the silicons connect to the netsphere.

The Authority is trying to prevent Davinel from gaining access to the netsphere, but they only delay the inevitable. Cibo and Ico get separated from Killy and Dhomo on the following silicon attack. Dhomo dies when Pcell returns, but not before stopping Davinel.

This was a low point on the series. I was really lost as to what was happening and why was it happening. Lots of death which came out of nowhere, underused characters and antagonists.

For exemple, some of the silicon life villains had really cool designs, so I was excited to see what they would do, and in the end got defeated way too quick.

In the end I hope it's a transitional volume, that things will get explained later. But judging it on its own, I found it a little disapoiting...

The art is still amazing, so it gets a star just for that. But the story here is two stars, just ok.

Ini benar2 makes sense The Matrix (LOL), terutama saat Davine (pimpinan silicon) yg pengen nyoba menjamah Netsphere.
Cibo yang mencoba memasukkan dirinya ke dalam info gen kapsul, malah berbalik menjadi bumerang . Jadi A level 9 safe guard XDD
Tidak begitu menyukai volume ini sebenarnya hhe. Nihei sensei salut, begitu fokus pada kekuatan artworknya daripada dialog. Namun, maaf sensei, mungkin harus sekaliber Inoue sensei baru bisa runut pembaca dalam menangkapnya :))
Terlalu banyak ledakan dan tembakan jarak jauh dari para karakter yang bertarung, dengan plot yang sangat sedikit, membuat saya cukup sulit untuk mengikuti. Saya memang suka weirdness di serial ini, tetapi perlu ada lebih banyak kohesi tentunya hha
