Tsutomu Nihei (弐瓶 勉 Nihei Tsutomu, born 1971) is a Japanese manga artist. His cyberpunk-influenced artwork has gained a strong cult following. He has a relatively large community of fans in Germany where his manga Blame!, NOiSE and Biomega were published by Ehapa. Blame! was also published in France and Spain by Glénat, in the US by Tokyopop and in Italy by Panini Comics.
At first he studied architecture and later it is shown up in his manga works with drawing huge structures. This became one of his general theme that makes his manga unique. His works are usually in black and white. He is also an avid fan of the video game series Halo, as he mentions in his commentary section in the Halo Graphic Novel.
The main AI of the silicon creatures trying to breach the NET-SPHERE.
The Governor's trying to prevent via.. withing the river?? HEY THEIR ON THE MATRIX EVERYTHING MAKES SENSE. The dude is the bad guy
Meanwhile Killy and Dhomochevsky's killing the main AI's body in the physical world.
During that fight Chibo tries to scribe herself into the capsules gene-info that totally backfire on her.
Currently her body is not her own. A lvl-9 safe guard is now using it to kill Killy and the special safeguard.
On the side note This f*cker is back AGAIN
Also Killy is almost gets destroyed during this fight and now trying to repair, reboot and cooldown himself. The biggest question here is how long did he takes to run himself again ch. 51 vol. 9
Killy reunites with Cibo and Dhomo seems to have gotten the upper hand on Pcell, the silicon assassin, but the latter already took the gene sample from them. They must get it back before the silicons connect to the netsphere.
Me perdí... Ok quizá solo un poco pero es difícil seguir el hilo cuando se deja mucho a la interpretación, si. Embargo el dibujo y lo epico que se ve cada vez que disparan esa maldita arma lo compensa todo
Should I? Should I not? Should I? Should I not? Should I? Should I not? Should I? Should I not? Should I? Should I not? Should I? Should I not? ....... Starting to run out......
This dark, gritty, alienating, violent cyberpunk manga is really good. The artist Nihei is really gifted to draw buildings and he creates an empty world left with never ending growing buildings, metallic structures, and deadly creatures out to get you. The structures and the Safeguards who were once protecting the population, are now out of control and kill everyone on sight, due to a virus the population was exposed to. Killy is set to find a person whose genes (Net Terminal Genes) are uncorrupted by the virus in order to get back the control over the structures and the Safeguards since only such a person can access the control center. During that time the Silicones, the official bad guys, keep causing troubles and want to stop Killy. Thankfully, Killy is a powerful cyborg and makes friend along the way with Cibo a scientist.
The manga has barely any dialogue, Blame! is the kind of manga where you really have to pay attention to each image and even reread a few times the manga in order to really understand what is going on. I think it is worth it.
yg ngejar Cibo sama Domo itu Pcell, bukan Schiff. salah gw kemaren :p dan si Pcell ini buyar waktu ditembak Domo. *bayangin megatron yang bisa berubah bentuk di revenge of the fallen* dan ternyata kapsulnya Seu itu dipakai buat Davine Lu Linvega (si pemimpin silicon) buat masuk ke netsphere. mungkin sebenarnya dia penasaran seperti apa rasanya jadi manusia di sana. soalnya pas masuk netsphere wujudnya berbentuk lelaki manusia.
Alright, so, I’m just gonna immediately throw this out there. I only rated this series four stars because PewDiePie said he loved this series. Yeah, I was one of those.
In actuality, I fucking hated the artwork. I just did not like it at all. And I just did not care about the story. So, yeah; don’t like things just because a YouTuber or celebrity you like happens to like/love it.
A volume that feels filled with rushed art, the lack of details shaded in an over-abundance of black-wash. A few otherwise decent plot moments, as rare as they feel in this series among the pages of explosions, debris, and and long shots of characters climbing/walking, fail to make up for it.
Didn't like this volume as much as the others. Lot's of explosions and long distance shots of characters walking, with very little plot, and what was there was incredibly difficult to follow. I like the weirdness, but there needs to be a bit more cohesion.
