44: Based on an Ex-Soldier's True Story of Life-Long Encounters Involving Alien Abduction, Men in Black, A Serial Killer and Persecution by the Freemasons

Rate this book
Bill Brooks was always a bit of an outsider - he just didn't fit in, and now he thinks he knows why. Bill is a former British soldier, an ordinary man, that is until the age of 44 when suddenly all hell broke loose. He didn't realise he had amnesia until he experienced what he calls 'a download' of information revealing a lifetime of UFO abductions and covert military experimentation on him. His compelling story shatters some of the widely held beliefs concerning our place in Creation and the true nature of what we think of as our reality. It is an expedition into high strangeness with some disturbing aspects, as well as the triumph of the human spirit over an evil which seems almost impossible to understand. In order to lift the veils of secrecy surrounding the UFO ET enigma, (post amnesia) Bill takes us on a journey through his early childhood and encounters with Nordics, Reptilians, shadow entities and Grey aliens. We then move into his army years where events continue with a military association, and Bill is put through MKUltra type mind control programming. Along the way he is pursued and persecuted by elements of the Freemasons who murder his cousin. A disturbing, strange and paranormal scenario brings him into contact with the infamous serial killers, Rosemary and Fred West, when he finds he bears, at one point in his life, an uncanny resemblance to Fred, with consequences he could never have imagined. For all its high strangeness, Bill's story is told with a raw humour, earthiness and honesty. It represents his attempt to reassemble the extraordinary jigsaw puzzle that is his life. It has also taken him to the brink of death several times. So sit back and buckle yourself in because you're in for an interesting ride! READER DISCRETION WARNING There are elements of this story that you may find extremely distressing. Please be aware, this book is not for the faint hearted.

Wow! Im worn out just from reading about Mr. Brooks' life!

First of all, I must give kudos to Mr. Brooks for laying it all out to the world at large. That took massive balls. Secondly, I read this book straight through and when I finished I felt like I needed a vacation to rest and decompress. And thats just READING about his life~ I can NOT imagine what it must have been like to actually LIVE it! Its truly amazing that he was able to handle not only the abductions and paranormal encounters but also the absolute extreme abuse and harrassment from people in authority for years without slicing his wrists in the tub. But what really got me ( besides all the crazy stuff that happened to him) is through it all (the extreme physical, mental and emotional rollercoaster his life has been) he still retained his dignity, compassion and his sense of humor. There are people, like a couple of reviewers have stated, that attract trouble, drama or negative situations thru no fault of their own. My sister is one and Ive told her for years she needs to write a book! I sincerely hope Mr. Brooks found that writting this book was cathartic and has gotten some peace in his life for once.

There are too many pointless stories of his life which lead to nowhere and have no conclusion other than "and to this day I still have no idea". There are no details of his abductions, he claims he was abducted but has no recollection of anything during the abductions. Claims he has seen aliens a few times, I don't find his story very believable due to lack of details. It sounds like he had a rough life with people out to ruin his life which sucks, but again, I don't know how much of it is true or if the multiple strokes/heart attacks messed with his head. The book is poorly written, the grammar is horrible.

Very interesting read.

I have often thought that there are way too many accounts of ufo's to discredit them all. They cannot all be lies. Also, the sheer number of solar systems in existence dictates the unlikelihood of our being alone in the universe. This one man's story may or may not provide the proof, but it does go a long way in supporting those beliefs.

Good to read British accounts

I really enjoyed the book and was wonderful hearing about places i know. He certainly had to put up with a great many things in his life and i hope he finds relief from his enemies.

Fascinating Book About An Ex-Soldier's Abduction Experiences

Fascinating read about a man's experiences of abduction, the memories, of which, only surfaced at the age of 44. His childhood and his experiences as a soldier are also mentioned as is the persecution he suffered from the legal system, police and the Freemasons.
