His Return

Rate this book
Walking through the narrow space between the two cheap motels, I couldn’t help but feel a little nauseated. There were a lot of garbage bags and cans in here, most were either left open or were torn that the trash were scattered everywhere and the smell coming from them were oozing in the cold chilly wind.
It was already bad that I had to take a longer different route because of my now ex-girlfriend and now I had to suffer from this unbearable smell. I didn’t know which one was worse and I wanted to complain to her but that would just mean seeing and talking to her again.
Hell, no.

The author had an interesting concept, but it wasn't executed the way it could've been. The story jumped around, and i was lost for a good portion of it. I didn't feel the motivation behind the things the character did, and i didn't find the romance believable. I wanted to like this one, but in the end i just couldn't get into it.
