Redenção

Rate this book

Eles estavam destinados a ficar juntos...
Sempre.
Pessoas com quem me importava.

Levou meu coração quando me abandonou naquele dia.

It’s great book! I’m happy to see Dean and Tyler finally found their HEA!
The thing I didn’t like about this book:
the absence of Lotus ( all the dark, twisted things and mystery of the first book defined with Lotus character)
My favorite things about the book
- Dean’s determination and patience to prove his love of his life that he’s different man now! He’s compassionate, caring, lovely but still domineering man! ( we missed his sweet side at the first book because of his obsession about revenge!)
- Dean and Jimmy’s bromance and creative cursing methods!
- Dean and Jeremy’s relationship ( D.D. word melt my heart)
- Some funny parts like One Direction song and serial killers book ! ( Dean never let his girl run with doctor in khakis)
- Dean and Tyler’s first entrance after 4 years. Yesss! Dean tossed rocks and climbed through window! He definitely killed his inner made man and turned into Tyler’s childhood sweetheart.
This book is about Dean’s atonement so nothing is dark, twisted, it’s actually second chance book. But it’s really well written and some parts are really heart warming. Jaimie Roberts is brilliant writer who can write both of different genres perfectly! ( I read these two books in two days and I dedicated my insomnia to her brilliant writing 😊)

TITLE: Redemption
SERIES: (Deviant, #2)
AUTHOR: Jaimie Roberts
GENRE: Dark Romance
RELEASE DATE: April 3rd 2015
MY RATING: ★★★★★

SOME THINGS ARE JUST WORTH FIGHTING FOR

I had been broken and bruised by the one man I thought I could always love and trust. The love of my life, the man of my dreams, the f*cking painful thorn in my side. He swept me off my feet when I was six, sucked me into a world where only he existed, then disappeared from my life.

I am so glad this wasn't just about Dean's Redemption but had a gruesome rat, pig scene thrown in (wooohooo)!!, yes I am one sick puppy lol..So as I'm reading along I was worried Dean was going to become too pussy whipped in this for me, then just like in book 1 his background comes around to bite him in the butt and made for some good gritty reading material..

THE BOY WHO USED TO CLIMB INTO MY WINDOW NEARLY EVERY DAY

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I loved the whole thing from book 1 and his tendency to turn the toilet roll (the wrong way) yes the wrong way!! (you read that correctly ) but wait there's more seems he has a hang up on how you should squeeze toothpaste out of the tube!! OMG!! lol I Kind of wanted to jump in the book and hit him over the head with a cast iron frying pan (just saying)

CHILDHOOD SWEETHEARTS ~ TRUE LOVE ~ SOUL MATES

Loved Loved Loved reading about Jimmy, who you could call Dean's right hand man, the banter between these two was classic, had to laugh at "sheep shagger" lol This is just one of many names that was thrown around between the two..

All I can say is that I am a goner over Dean!! I totally lay claim to this guy!!

Without warning, Dean flipped me over, pulled my pajama bottoms down, then started sucking the life out of my bottom. This would normally be so weird, but not when it came to Dean and me.
I didn't realize just how horny having him suck my arse would make me.
"Dean, what are you doing?" I was trying to be light hearted about it, but I couldn't help getting breathless.
He pulled his head up and gave me that breathtaking smile of his.
"I'm sucking arse. Do I suck arse good, Tyler?"
"Should I show you something else I can suck?"

A Happily Ever After For Dean And Tyler

This was a nice follow-up to 'Deviant', tying up loose ends and providing closure. In my opinion, this book didn't have the same taboo appeal that the first book did. This book had more of a sweet, heartfelt vibe. It was good, just different than the first one.

Picking up about 3 years after Tyler's "death", Dean and Tyler are living separate lives on separate continents. While Dean has focused his energy on tracking Tyler down and winning her back, she has been doing her best to move on and leave him behind. After everything he put her through, I can't say he didn't deserve it.

Just when Dean and Tyler seem to get their problems worked out, Dean's dangerous past comes back to haunt them. Now that he's reunited with Tyler and his young son, Dean has something to lose for the first time in years. He has to come to terms with what his prior life of crime means for them.

Dean and Tyler are still burning up the pages. Jimmy plays a more prominent role this time around and we're sure to see more of him and his love interest, Tara, in the next book. There was a little action as well.

Overall, it was a nice, endearing love story. It didn't blow my mind, but it was a worthwhile read and entertaining enough. It ended on a nice note and gave some closure to Dean and Tyler's story.

This one is amazing. I know the author didn't plan on writing it, but with all the pressure we all put on her, I'm glad she did. I love the romance, I love the "bromance", I love the interaction between all of the characters. This story just goes to show you that sometimes you have to fight for what you truly want. Great job once again, Jaimie.

I've read both Deviant and Redemption this week and I still can't believe how much I loved these books. I'm new to Goodreads and even newer to writing reviews. If I'm honest my review's are boring with bad spelling and even worse punctuations however with this book I find myself wishing I was better with words to give it the justice it deserves. I found Deviant from a recommendation on Amazon and after reading a really great review on Goodreads I decided to give it a go which I'm very glad I did. Deviant is the first book in the series's, its a dark read that's completely addictive. Redemption however isn't a dark read like the first and its right that it isn't. The first one is about Lotus and his revenge but this book was about Dean and of course as the title says, his redemption. This book isn't as heavy as the first and it shouldn't be. The author does an amazing job of showing us how Dean can be the boy Tyler loved as a little girl as well still be a sexy deviant lotus. This book was still very moving at time like the first but it was also made me laugh out loud. Anyone with the name Jeremy in both these books are treasures and other characters in Redemption really help to make a complete and very compelling read. I can't recommend this book more, with a dirty bastard hero( in the smutty good way!!) who changes his ways and a equally strong and dirty female(a bathroom sink does die in this book)you really can't resist.

☆ I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you! ☆

4.5 stars!!

Wah, Jaimie Roberts has outdone herself!

In the conclusion in the Deviant duology, we meet up with Tyler, who now going by the name of Jessica, and her making a life away from her deviant babby daddy Dean.

She now is in a healthy relationship with another man, and with a 4-year old son, and is believed to be dead to those back home.

When her son falls ill, she decides to make contact again with her parents….but not to far away, Dean is right on her tracks…

I will be one of the many to say that I was aroused, gutted, moved, and put through an emotional roller coaster on this one! It was simply priceless and totally kept you on your toes on what was to come!!

I wholeheartedly recommend anyone to read, especially those who have not read Deviant to read this series, and those who have in fact read Deviant!!

2.5 stars

Have you ever had a very, very amazing dish like a steak coupled with delicious sauces and these mouth-watering vegetables that just make you realize how much you love food and then you decide to have dessert and it turns out to be a bland, old piece of cake with a bitter chocolate sauce that totally ruins the steak for you? Yea, that's what redemption was like for me. Deviant was my yummy steak. Redemption was the cake I wish I hadn't eaten. I may be exaggerating here since the book wasn't that bad but it was one of the most boring books I have ever read. For the 50th time in my life, I have been reminded about why it is a very bad idea to write a sequel to a novel. There are very rare cases where a sequel actually turns out to be even as good as the first book, let alone be even better.
In the case of this series, I was actually happy to find out that Deviant had a sequel. The first book left a lot of questions unanswered and I wanted more of Tyler and Dean. I read the author's note before starting Redemption which clearly stated that this book won't be as dark as the first book. And I also ignored that note thinking that of course the author is kidding because well, the book must be a little dark and even if it wasn't, it would at least be good because it has Dean in it. Boy, was I wrong.
Redemption starts off a couple of years later after the end of Deviant. Tyler is living under a different name with her son. Dean is keen on finding Tyler through every means he can. He eventually succeeds in finding her out and the rest of the book focuses on how he gets her back. We have a kidnapping, a torture session of a bad guy, the secret of what 'DD' stands for and very few sex scenes which were, unfortunately, not enough to redeem this book in my eyes. (Ha, see what I did there). As though this wasn't enough, Dean calls his kid "grown-up" which in my opinion is the most drab nickname given to anyone ever. Yes, I live around kids and no, I do not hate them. And yes, I know this is a bad nickname because I will never give it to any of my kids.
I still don't get how the book even turned out the way it did when the first one was so good. I know that it was necessary to write this book to answer the readers' questions but it didn't seem mandatory to make the book so long. Plus, I honestly didn't give two fucks about most of the characters in the book. To make everything worse, Dean and Tyler became this extremely boring couple that either exchanged sassy lines or argued about how Dean wasn't good for Tyler blah blah. Even the sex seemed drawn out and drab to me. And I am aware that we all need some story in a book but there was seriously no need to give Tyler a boyfriend. Yes, we want Dean to be jealous and regret his past actions but it was a punishment to read how Tyler didn't give a fuck about Eric and broke up with his a couple of chapters into the book. Honestly, I think Eric was one of the most unnecessary characters I have ever read about in any book in my life. Moreover, that Jimmy guy and Tyler's friend didn't add much to the story. I understand that Tara's character was made to go through certain things so the author could bring forth the fact that abusive relationships was an important matter to her but I think it would have been better if there was a separate story to address domestic violence, perhaps with the same dark twist given to Deviant. This is a prime example of an excellent idea executed badly. I suppose I didn't feel involved enough with the book or maybe it was too boring for me but by the time Tara's issue came along, I couldn't really care about how Dean tortured Tara's ex even though abuse is one of the problems that I care passionately about and want to be seen addressed more in books. I guess I shouldn't even start on the kidnapping part of the book. By that time, I was skimming through the chapters because nothing was working for me.
I admit that Redemption was disappointing for me but Jaimie Roberts is still someone whose books I will continue to read in the future because I know she's an awesome author.

4,5 to 5 gleeful stars!

I’ve read Deviant and I loved it. It was one of the best book discoveries from the past months. When the author offered me an ARC of Redemption in exchange for an honest review, I could not contain my excitement.

This book is moving (have tissues at hand), frustrating (What, she wants to move on and find someone else? That can’t be!), funny (thanks to Dean and Jimmy’s banter and Jeremy’s outspoken personality), hot and many other things.

Jaimie wrote she was worried going into this second book. There was initially no sequel planned but Deviant gathered so many fan’s reactions and expectations she decided to write a second book. No matter what, she could never “bring that dark, mysterious element to book two that was in book one”.

And of course Dean can’t be the avenging and domineering male from Deviant. He has to earn Tyler’s forgiveness and has some serious groveling to make. I won’t lie: I missed his intense alpha male personality and their kinky games in the beginning of the book. Where was my dark, intimidating mobster? Where did he go???? To be honest, I felt cheated. But, this was not Jaimie’s last word…

The story begins four years after Tyler’s escape. She has a son, Jeremy and left for the US to become a kindergarten teacher. She tries to move on and has a lover for four years. Evan is a heart surgeon and is a really great guy. He loves Tyler, named Jessica now, and has proposed many times. But Tyler is not ready to fall in love with someone else and probably will never be. If I was happy to see Tyler is still Dean’s (sorry, I’m a romantic through and through) I was also sad for Evan and can only wish he’ll have his HEA someday.

Tyler misses Dean and their rough love games as he awoke her darker tendencies.
” I wanted to love Evan so badly. I wanted to give him everything because he deserved everything. He was way too good for me. In some ways, I think that was the problem.”

When her son Jeremy becomes sick, Tyler is desperate and calls her parents.
Dean can’t exist without Tyler and has searched for her for four years. Plagued by the guilt of Jeremy’s death, he is adrift. He can’t breathe without his Rosey. He is determined to make amends and win her back, at all costs and when Tyler contacts her parents directly, he doesn’t miss the opportunity and trail them to find his woman.

After so many years, things have changed. Tyler is a mother now and has to protect her son. Dean’s reappearance ignites strong and contrary feelings in Tyler. Her heart is yearning for Dean, even after everything he did. She longs for her childhood friend and dark lover. But she also knows Dean is dangerous and could put Jeremy’s life at risk. And she won’t allow it. Jeremy must remain her secret.

Tyler hides Jeremy, runs and Dean chases her as he won’t lose her ever again.

Desperate to win her back, Dean has to make her realize she is his world. If he wants to build something with Tyler, he has to be completely honest with her and confess his responsibility in Jeremy’s death. Tyler is devastated by the news. She hurts so badly and it kills Dean to see her so broken and miserable. To witness the pain he caused his Rosey.
” I felt a sudden sob leave his lips. Dean was crying and it was the most gut-wrenching sound I had ever heard. Not once had I seen or heard him cry, and the thought of it tore me up inside. He came to break me and he did, but it seemed his own action had broken him, too. And the sick part about it? I wanted to heal him. I wanted so desperately to take his pain away.”

I was disappointed in the beginning to see a new Dean, a mellower version of him but he soon made up for it. You can’t turn a lion into a domesticated cat I guess and I got my kinky mobster back with an added bonus (Yay!). Hot sex scenes, destruction of sinks included and some serious mob action by the end of the story. 80% in the book and I could not put it down as a horrible event happened and I just had to know everyone would be alright once again. I truly thought I would have a “Raw”(Bella Jewel) frustrating ending. Pfew, disaster averted.

So this book is not about revenge, it’s not a dark story. It’s about redemption and is a truly good story to read. I just had to get my bearings and find my Dean’s back.

Wonderful added bonus: the side characters are all interesting and well developed. They all play their part to make that story into a great one. Jimmy, Dean’s “help” is a paradox. The handsome giant can kill and torture men without remorse but would never hurt a child or a woman. He was Big Uncle Jimmy to Tyler’s son.
And don’t start me on Tyler’s son, Jeremy. Beautiful, protective of his mom he is a little rascal and has a big mouth. The nearly four years is an incredible kid and made me smile or laugh more than once. The best example: he sees a pregnant Lady, points at her belly and says “I know what you did!”.

So a big thank you Jaimie for the opportunity, I had a great time!

Redemption is the concluding part of Deviant.
I must admit this has been the book I have been most anticipating since I finished Deviant. I was left with so many unanswered questions that I begged the author for a book 2, stalked her relentlessly to write it and as over the moon to hear that I wasn't the only one doing this. Lol.
When I heard Jaimie Roberts was going to write another book I couldn't wait and it's been my most anticipated release of 2015. In the time of Jaimie writing the book and keeping up to date on the progress of it regularly, I have got to know the author very well and I'm so happy I found this series and made a great supportive friend in the process.
Redemption is utterly fantastic. Yes the book is not dark like Deviant, but it was never going to be. Redemption is all about Dean making up for all his wrong doings in Deviant, finding Tyler, winning her back and never letting her go, whilst trying to become a better person for the love of his life. I enjoyed reading about Deans softer side and also getting to see Tyler's feisty side.
I really really loved that Jeremy wasn't forgotten in Redemption. He was in the story in different ways and means, but the story wouldn't of been the same without him and I'm glad he was added in.
The story was beautiful, emotional and funny. I laughed and cried from one minute to the next and I read the book with a smile even when I was crying.
Dean and Tyler had a connection that many don't ever get to see in a lifetime. Dean was right to fight for Tyler to forgive him, show him that he had changed, but I could understand Tylers reluctance to give him another chance as he had literally destroyed her and her life in Deviant because of a misunderstanding. Tyler had major trust issues because if it and I could understand that even though Tyler and Dean had a fierce connection there was no trust on her part. I could understand her reluctance to trust Dean again after everyone she thought she knew abused her trust and ruined her life.
I loved the addition of Tara and Jimmy in the book. They were both great secondary characters and I enjoyed their journey throughout the story too.
When begging Jaimie to write a continuing book after I first finished Deviant she said to me she never thought her writing skills would ever be able to do Dean and Tyler justice in another book. I told her that would never be the case and I'm glad I was right on this occasion. Jamie's writing skills were brilliant. She gave her fans what they wanted and she pulled it off perfectly. She gave us a different side to both characters, she showed us true loves full beauty, how to fight for what we believe in and want, to never give up, to live for today as tomorrow isn't guaranteed and in my eyes she pulled this story off with flying colours.
Thank you for writing Redemption for your fans
5 million stars.

Four years ago Tyler left her job and her parents behind - she faked her own death, to make a safe life for herself and her unborn child - away from her baby-Daddy. The man she fell in love with when she was only six years old.

(After not seeing him for 15 years, he suddenly came back into her life - to stalk her - to punish her - to make her suffer, just like he suffered for what she did to him. Only nothing back then was her fault.)

Now, four years later - almost ready to start a new happy life with another man (who she likes a lot, but can't really love like some other not-to-be-mentioned guy), disaster strikes again.

Her son is sick.

Totally scared for her boy she calls her parents back in England, so that they can come and be there for her and Jeremy....but of course Dean has tapped their phones and is now following them to Washington.

Dean never believed that Tyler died. He always felt that she's out there somehwere - and he wants her back.

Tyler - now called Jessica - sends her boy back to the hotel with her parents, so that her stalker will not find out about him - should he watch her house...which he does of course.

And he doesn't stop watching and talking and begging and flirting with her. He wants her back - and he will do everything in his power to convince her to give him another chance.

description

She never stopped loving him - but he did so much to hurt her - she's scared that he will bring too much danger into her and Jeremy's lives.

WILL HAPPEN TO TYLER & DEAN & JEREMY??
WILL THEY GET THEIR HEA???
WILL THERE BE A CLIFFHANGER o.O

description

OR WILL EVERYBODY DIE AT THE END?

NOPE - I'm not telling you . . .

I REALLY ENJOYED THE BOOK!!!

I was soo looking forward to reading it... Book #1 had a pretty horrible Cliffhanger and now we're finally back with our darling Stalker Dean ☺

First I was shocked that it's now four years later...poor Dean - he was left behind for such a long time :(

But now here's his chance to prove to Tyler that he can be the guy she fell in love with so many years ago... and he does his best to prove it to her - in very funny and verrrrry sexy ways ☺

We also get to hear a cute side-story about Dean's right-hand-man/buddy Jimmy and Tyler's friend Tara ...

And of course Tyler and Dean's little boy Jeremy is sooo cute and smart and it was so adorable to watch him with his Dad ☺

But of course we also have some very suspensy moments and some a few moments where Dawson and I shed some (ok, lots of) tears!!

description

Lots of very sexy and very funny scenes ... like the way Jimmy and Dean call each other the most ridiculous names!!!
And of course we might have a little trouble with toilet paper again!! ☺

description

This book had everything I need in my Stalker-Romances ☺

• Not so much stalking anymore ☺
• EROTIC SCENES
• SUSPENSY SCENES
• FRUSTRATING SCENES
• VERY SAD & MOVING SCENES
• CUTE & FUNNY SCENES

I REALLLLY LOVED REDEMPTION....

I couldn't put it down - you just have to know how it ends!!! If Dean & Tyler will finally get their HEA!

If you like really hot & funny & suspensy Romances with a #SexyFormerStalkerGuy - GO AND BUY THE BOOK!!!! ☺
And this time - with Jimmy - we even have TWO of those guys ☺

Tied up loose ends...

This definitely tied up all the loose ends and answered some questions I had about how certain things were possible in Deviant but it had a totally different 'feel' than book 1.
Both books live up to their titles. In book 1, we see Dean as the deviant he is and I loved his dark, dominating personality. He was a force to be reckoned with but in book 2, it is all about redemption and he will do anything to earn back Tyler's trust. He's sweet, sometimes sickeningly so, and even the hot, hardcore sexy times were a bit tame. I felt like Dean's dominance was made a mockery of because it only surfaced in scenes where Tyler prompted him, i.e. "pull my hair", "spank me", etc. In the end, they got their HEA but I prefer the old Dean.

Fanfriggintastic!! This is the best word to describe Redemption.

Jaimie Roberts is an amazing author! I have read all her books and Redemption has become my favorite. This book will definitely pull at your heart strings.

If you love Deviant like I did then hold on to your seat because you WILL fall head over heels in love with Redemption. The story-line and characters are mind blowing. You will not want to put down this book until the very end. This is a book that you will want to read again and again.

You will become so involved in the story that you will feel like you are part of the amazing roller-coaster ride along with Dean and Tyler.

This book has little bit of everything in it twist and turns that will leave you breathless, some darkness ( it has the hot & tempting Dean of course there is some darkness), love, friendships, and humor. I found myself giggling many times throughout this book. This is definitely one of Jaimie's best books.

I can not express enough about how amazing this book is from beginning to end.

This is a definite MUST READ BOOK that you do not want to miss reading! So, go grab your copy today and enjoy the incredible roller-coaster ride that will have you wanting more of the story and the characters.

Redemption is book two of the Deviant series. If you have not Deviant yet what waiting for go grab your copy NOW! You will love this series!

*Changing my rating from 4* to 2*.

I'm pretty annoyed so there will probably be spoilers....

Something I didn't like about the first book was it has some of the silliest sentences. Dean mentioned Tyler and her voodoo ways too much. This book is the same. Some examples...

"I'm the worst scum of the universe."
"If you want me to stay, wild horses couldn’t make me leave."
"My beautiful, sexy witch in high heels. "
"Tyler and her voodoo powers."

It was super cringey. Like, I literally cringed! However, I rated Deviant 4* because the storyline was good enough that I looked past what was most likely a case of 'it's not you, it's me'. I liked that Dean was a sexy stalker. Would watch her out in the club and threaten guys for dancing with her. Fuck her wearing a hoodie so she couldn't see his face. That he would "punish" her by fertilizing her. Lol. I liked that book.

Here I felt like I'm reading about entirely different characters. Now Dean is just a silly man, groveling for another chance. He's been domesticated completely. He's joking and having double dates with his friend like they didn't just torture and kill a mobster together. Now they are barbecuing together! Like seriously?!?!?

Basically, Book 1 & 2 are about different people that happen to have the same name. If I had read Redemption first I probably would have liked it but I want the old Dean back NOT Mr. Mom.

If you loved Deviant half as much as I did then you will have been hanging out for this book for ages – but OMG was it worth the wait!
I finished Deviant with more questions that I had answers but I knew that with Redemption being the conclusion to the story that all would be resolved and Jaimie Roberts did not disappoint because she brought forth the big guns in this book and dished up an absolute corker! I couldn’t put it down.
This really is a book all about redemption, about Dean being able to make up for all things that have gone wrong and for him to be able to try and win back his woman. It was nice to get to see this side of him.
The story was emotional but then again finding redemption was always going to give way to the need to show your softer side and Dean could do that Tyler on the other side seemed to relish showing her claws – she made me smile!
Tyler and Dean’s relationship was great to read, it carried forth the events from Deviant and proved that no matter how wrong you were, If you fight hard enough you can get what you want if you are prepared to work hard enough for it.

I was so blessed to be allowed to review this awesome book by my amazing and talented friend Jaimie.

Usually I am not the easiest to take the breath away from but this second book in the Deviant series did just that, just as the first book, and I have not stopped loving Dean the slightest.

Redemption is a rollercoaster of emotions and it makes you wanna smack in Dean's face as well as Tyler's at more times than one but it also makes you smile and laugh and vote for them to finally find their path together. Furthermore, you cannot help but be melted into a puddle of mush by little adorable Jeremy. A little boy far wiser than what a boy at 3 years of age should be.

Thank you for yet again taking my breath away with your amazing talent, Jaimie. Don't ever stop making magic out of words and always know how much I look up to you and respect you. You are a true star :)

This is the conclusion of Deviant, and WOW it did not let me down!! Redemption shows us all the many sides of Dean, he is a complex Alpha-male.. I say this, not all negative, but not all good either.. Dean has grown-up not in a normal family, but Tyler has always been the one person that made him feel... Since the age of 8, Dean knew Tyler was his, in his young mind he loved her, waited like a gentleman till she was old enough for their feelings.. Because of things that were not Tyler's fraught, Dean believed a lie.. In life the way you choice to handle a problem, will follow you through out your life, so make sure you do it the right way.. Too bad, we discovered that Dean handled it the worst possible way!(In Deviant)
After having the love of your life stalk you and blame you for something you had no clue about, what are you going to do?? Tyler ran, and hide, but once you love someone as long as Tyler did, can you stop loving and find someone else?? This book shows us love has many sides, love and hate, are closer than we realize.. I enjoy reading books, like this that make you think about choices, how you would deal with them, and how the characters themselves deal with them and the consequence..
I adored the way Dean change, it wasn't no instata change. The author showed us layer by layer Dean becoming that man, the one that Tyler knew and loved that let go of all that revenge..
These characters have so much depth, Dean and Tyler's chemistry is off the charts!! Jimmy and Dean are so great, their banter is like some friends I know.. Tara and Jimmy are so great together, you just want to hug Jimmy for being such a great Alpha-male!! Kids in stories are really great, or really bad.. The author Jamie Roberts, out done yourself!
I loved Jeremy so vey much! That kid was adorable, the chemistry with Dean and Jeremy was AWESOME!! This book had me laughing, crying, and sometimes talking to my kindle.. I'm not crazy much, but if a book can do that, I must love it!! Jamie Roberts you are very creative and talented, I am happy to recommend this book to all that loves a great dark, suspense romance!! 5 STARS

I spent the last couple days reading Deviant and Redemption. Holy crap - what an intense ride!! Deception, manipulation - major plot twists and turns; this series is full of so much drama and suspense. You're unable to put it down until the journey is over.

Dean and Tyler were best friends all throughout their childhoods. Their connection with one another is almost instantaneous and you'll think their bond is unbreakable. It's the kind of romance we all dream about and look for in our romance novels. That is until that love is shattered.

Redemption is the continuation of their story - they're now adults and living worlds apart. You finally know why they were unknowing enemies - there really is so much to their story and I don't want to give away anything. (You'll want to experience it yourself.) Just know - they both still have secrets that they're desperate to keep and they live in a world where they fear the unknown.

When it all falls apart and truths are revealed - it's painful. There needs to be healing and atonement for past sins. Dean and Tyler's path towards happily ever after is nothing short of crazy. The author weaves this intricate storyline and you're impressed it all melds together and keeps your attention without being overwhelming or too much.

I absolutely recommend this series and look forward to reading more from Jaimie Roberts.

The title of this book says everything. This is not as dark and crazy as the first book in this series but it did have a few scenes that kept you on the edge of your seat. But mostly it was about redemption and loss and the most beautiful love of two people you have ever seen. The hurt and agony these characters went through was horrible but beautiful at the same time. I am blown away by everything this book had to offer. Comedy oh my goodness I laughed so much in this book Jeremy was the cutest funniest thing ever. I loved his personality he was a mixture of both his parents. But sadly I really did love Evan he was amazing but her heart could never belong to another. Jimmy was just as amazing as Dean. Both of these characters were strong and heroic type of characters which made me understand them better. This book was really a great chance to get to meet the characters under a different circumstances. But you still see how badass they are. The thing I loved most of all was they felt real. I actually enjoyed this story much more than the first-Deviant. I think the fact that Dean is out in the open, no longer hiding amongst the shadows had a lot to do with it. It's been 4 years since Tyler ran from Dean taking something precious with her. But one mistake leads to Dean finding her whereabouts. Tyler always knew it was a matter of time before he tracked her down. But she doesn't know that he has had years to regret his actions and wants nothing more than to fix things with her, at any price.

Eventually Dean finds out what Tyler has been hiding from him, but he understands why she did what she did. There is still danger out there, how could there not be with the way Dean lives his life. Tyler's friend Tara seems to have caught Dean's friend, Jimmy's attention. They provide a necessary lightness to this read.

Things will come full circle for Tyler and Dean. But will Dean take the high road and step aside for another man? He has learned a lot about himself over the years without Tyler and he will protect her at any cost. Even if it means he will have to live with out her.

Great epilogue.

Redemption, book #2, the final part of DEVIANT (bk #1). Where DEVIANT left us with a tragic but beautiful love story, book (#2) was a different ball game altogether. .. it was a bloomin AMAZING love story!!!
It was so brilliantly written, it blew me away. The emotions I felt whilst reading, had me crying, laughing (hysterically) and swooning...even shocked.
Redemption was powerful and gruesome in parts, real shocking moments (I almost shat my pants...really!)
I loved both the relationships of Tara, Jimmy, Dean & Tyler, they were a perfect match for one another.
The banter between Dean & Jimmy cracked me up...I was peeing myself laughing. Even Tara & Tyler' antics had had me howling with laughter.
The storyline was INTENSE, DRAMATIC, SHOCKING but BEAUTIFUL too. A story of friendship, trust, loyalty & love.
ABSOLUTE MUST READ!
NO SPOILERS HERE!
Read it for yourself. ..you won't be disappointed!
Thank you Jaimie

Now after reading the authors acknowledgements at the end of this book, she mentions that the first book was originally meant to be a stand alone and it was only pressure from the readers that caused her to write this second and final installment. Well I am over the moon that she did, because certain issues I had with book 1 were nowhere to be seen in this one. In fact, there was a completely different feel to it.

There was a lot more connection with the characters. Even Jimmy, who appears in book 1, plays a much bigger role in this book and although my heart is with Dean, both Jimmy and Jeremy are a very close second.

There was a lot more emotion in this story and there's a very big reason for that, which is hinted at, at the end of the first book 1.

By the end all loose ends are tied up and I can honestly say I have thoroughly enjoyed following Tyler and Deans journey.

So Effing Awesome!

I've been waiting for months to find out how Dean and Tyler's story ends. Patiently waiting because I knew it would be worth it. And I love being right...it was SO worth the wait. Just like with Deviant, once I started reading, I couldn't stop. Dean and Tyler's story is so original and it keeps you guessing which direction it could go in all the time. It's just full of possibilities. The characters are fantastic and original as well. The story flows as does the writing. I can't say enough about how great this story is. You'd be a fool not to read it!

Wow what can I say, this book had me going through so many different emotions. While reading this book I laughed, cried, was angry, happy and even cried. After the cliffhanger ending in Deviant I am so pleased that the author finished the story (with a little persuasion from her readers). There was so much going on in the story that I didn't know how much more I could take. Even though Dean was dark in Deviant I loved the opportunity to see his softer side and Tyler's feisty side. I could say so much more about this story but I don't want to spoil it for others.
