MATTHEW
In my world, there are no f*** ups, no second chances.
But that was before Holly.

Innocent doesn’t even begin to describe her. But those big eyes of hers are hiding something—something dark. Something she’s afraid of.

Pulling her into my bed was the easy part. But nothing could’ve prepared me for what followed

Because once wasn’t enough. Once will never be enough.
Not until I put a ring on her finger. A baby in her belly.
And make her mine—now and always.

HOLLY
I was trapped. My only way out was to run.
Then the road ended, and I ran into him.

He was everything I was supposed to stay away from. But there’s no denying the connection between us--a connection as frightening as it is alluring.

It was a mistake, but I can’t turn back now. Because he won’t stop.
Not until he makes me his.

Matthew knew his soul was empty, knew he suffered from PTSD but he didn't know how to solve his problem. He had tried the traditional routes, but nothing seemed to jar the emptiness from him.

Holly grew up with everything she didn't want and was denied the one thing she did. When she realize her parents control is about to leap into another phase of her life, she runs.

Holly didn't expect to meet Matthew on her journey. Matthew didn't know that Holly would help him heal, both share something that no other person can relate to. Can they both find what they are looking for and heal enough to have a future?

This was not what I was expecting. Very different, but good. There is a lot of soul searching in this book. You feel for both Holly and Matthew, reading their journey unfold was inspiring. Great read.

Interesting book

I not sure how I feel except I want to know more.
The story is about tow unlikely to meet people. One with major PTS and another an unrealistic wanna be artist raised in privilege.
Author has me wanting to know them better.

DNF

I see the struggles of both characters are going through. This book was hard to keep interested in. It wasn't for me.

It's not what you think.

This is not a bad boy romance. It is about two broken people trying to find their way in the world. I really was surprised by this book. I liked Matt and holly. The age is what threw me for a loop she is 21 he is 25. They have a solid love story. To be honest I really liked it. Nothing to dirty stepwise. But I liked how the characters bloomed they seemed very real. The was a broken vet she was a rich girl who hated her family. The found love on a bus in search of the broken feelings they had inside. It's a good read check it out.

This world could use more HAPPY endings!

In this world so filled with sickness, hurt and hate , where no one seems to care, it's been so very good to shut the door and read something that makes you want to step in and help the characters.
To have to run a way and do what you have to survive is a everyday occurrence for some, to be able to find your soul mate in the process, That's a happy ending.
I would recommend this book to everyone who needs a happy ending!

Choices

This book is mainly about choices in our life's. When you have the courage to make your own choices in life you might find you have more courage than you thought. These characters made hard decisions, they let fate take them to a place they longed for. Life can change on a dime, have courage and take chances never know what you might find. Might not be a great description of the book but it's the lesson and wisdom learned. Read it nice adventure and happy ending.

It was ok. A rich girl runs away from her affluent family and meets an army vet suffering from PTSD on a bus. They travel across the country getting to know themselves and each other. I wasn't moved but it was an okay read with an HEA.

Not impressed

I feel as the excerpt is a false advertising for an alpha male and the plot lacked intensity and heat. Its a sweet story about overcoming adversity but it's not what you expect when you get the book.Disappointed

Ok

I thought it was good but that's it. I love the characters that I loved but some of the story felt repetitive like it dragged along just words to fill the space. It was good but just a miss for me. It was sweet.

So slow

I don't think I can finish this one. I'm only to chapter 13 but I had to force my self so far, this book might get better but so far its been slow and boring.
