I just finished Ditter Kellen's Vaulcron, and I have to say that I am absolutely blown away by the story. When I first picked up the first book in the series, What Lies Beneath, honestly, I was hesitant about it. I don't read sci-fi romance. Like...AT ALL. However, Kellen mixed in many of the paranormal elements that I enjoy so I ended up falling in love with the story and subsequently the series.
The next book in the series, Naura, ramped up the action and suspense that started in Enigma. There were several hair-raising and nail-biting moments that made you want to look away but keep reading at the same time.
Now with Vaulcron. WOW!!! I don't know how she managed it, but the action increased even more. Secrets and mysteries were revealed, and a sweetheart of a Bracadyte prince fights for the woman he loved. Vaulcron and Mallory's passion steamed up the pages. But, I will say this...Mallory made me want to kick her in her no-no place a couple of times :D. She just took too many risks which could have taken her away from Vaulcron altogether. Hello! You have an almost 7 foot tall muscle bound warrior at your disposal and you go off playing GI-Jane?!?! Girrrrrl, sit yourself down (LOL). But, her riskiness came from a good place because she wanted to expose the true source of the viral outbreak that was taking the lives of thousands. Although Mallory took unmitigated risks, she was not too stupid to live. Quite the opposite in fact. Her intellect and her grit helped to save the day.
The story arc of the Enigma series is extremely well done. Each installment adds a unique flavor that keeps the series fresh and interesting. Vaulcron was certainly darker in nature than the previous books in series because of some events that occurred in the earlier chapters. Another moment of truth here...I didn't think I would like it. I kept wanting to throw my Kindle because what was being done to them by a particularly vile secondary character in the story. But, it had to happen as a necessary element to the story. By the end, I love how Kellen worked those darker elements into a ray of beauty and hope.
This series just continues to get better and better and I look forward to seeing what Kellen does with the remaining characters in the series.

Vaulcron is book 3 in the Enigma Series. I really wanted to love this one like I loved Tony and Naura but unfortunately I didn't. I felt something was missing through out the entire story. I never felt any connection between either character. I will read the next one because I'm pretty curious about the Healer.

This was such a beautiful addition to the series! Vaulcron and Mallery's story was full of heart pounding danger and an awesome love story! This is the third book in the Enigma and they just keep getting better and better!

Vaulcron is mine…total dibs. He is so damn sweet, he probably taste like candy. He is the true meaning of beautiful inside and out. I absolutely adored everything about him. You know the reporter he is infatuated with, from book 1, the Great White, yup that’s her. Don’t let her nickname fool you, I really liked her too. Good person, but tough as nails. He goes to her to give his people’s side of the story. She is set to do the right thing and then….you guessed it...sh*t hits the fan again and then we have a great story. Whew, these two really go through some crap for sure, the government just won’t quit and admit what they did. A lot of things happen in the storyline and it just keeps getting better.
This was a safe read, no om or ow drama, just a great storyline. These two had chemistry for days and were heating up my kindle. This is a standalone with the couple, but this storyline is ongoing. I can’t say enough about how much I love this series. Total book crack. Psst....don’t forget Vaulcron is mine...I read him first.

Without hesitation 5 stars. Fantastic writing. Each book mainly covers one couple but the series still has past characters appearing as the plot unfolds. I hate to call each book in the Enigma series a cliffhanger. Those are often irritating but the anticipation before the next book's first page is opened is almost overwelling as is wanting to hold onto the feeling of savouring what I have just read.

Vaulcron is book three in the Enigma series and the intensity shows no signs of slowing down! This one is a bit different than the previous two, it's darker and a lot more heart wrenching. The evilness of the people responsible for Mallory and Vaulcron's imprisonment had me gasping in shock. I can't go into detail but some secrets and coverups are finally exposed which picks up the pace even further!
I loved the switch up in this one, it's awesome when the heroine can be the one to save the day and the hero can show his gentle side. Vaulcron was the sweet and gentle giant (Oh have no fear, he's still a badass Bracadyte prince that you don't want to cross) while Mallory was intelligent and courageous. I love how she was determined to save the Bracadytes even if it meant that her life was forfeit. Vaulcron was my big ol teddy bear and so many of his scenes had me clenching my fist against my heart near tears for him.
This book is literally nonstop action and intrigue from page one and I can't wait to read Zaureth's *SQUEE!!!* story. Swoon worthy alpha and a resilient heroine, Vaulcron seriously has everything and I mean EVERYTHING that you would want in a five star read. Let me put it this way, I was so engrossed in reading it that all I could do was yell "NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!" when I got to the end so do yourself a favor and read this series! You can thank me after you've caught up. :)

These books just keep getting better and better! OMG, I so want number 4 right now! Well-written, keep you on the edge of your seat suspense coupled with the sex gods of the Gulf. oh my! Yum! More please, Ms. Kellen, soon!

This is about Mallory aka The Great White Shark and Vaulcron. I have to admit that I was not expecting Vaulcron and Mallory to get together. Vaulcron has always been a secondary character. We did not know much about him aside from the fact that he is the oldest son and the next in line for the throne. He also seemed to be carefree and just all-around happy. Other than that there was no information about him.
Mallory on the other hand is a reporter and it seems as though everybody is scared of her. I would have lied to know more about her as an individual rather than her as a reporter. I would like to know how she received the name The Great White Shark. Mallory did feel guilty however as a reader I did not understand why she felt guilt. I know in order to be at the top like she is she had to do some things however I would like to know more about what she did.
The relationship between Vaulcron and Mallory was slow-burning at times and then it became an inferno. Since this story is such a quick read I am glad that they didn't jump right into bed with one another. There were times where I was just happy with them giving each other googly eyes and act like teenagers trying to figure out how to navigate their feelings for one another.
There was action and it was great action. If anybody has watched Game of Thrones there is this character called Arya who decides to have a hit list basically. I have come up with my own hit list and I think these characters should just end up dying slowly. The president for one needs to go. He really thinks that he is doing absolutely nothing wrong. The director of the CDC needs to go. The captain or major of the Department of Defense needs to go as well. There are others that I'm pretty positive I'm missing but you just seems that everybody in the US government aside from the vice president and needs to go and die a slow painful death from this disease.
This is another great installment Enigma. Ditter Kellen is such a wonderful writer and I cannot wait for Zaureth. He and Amy seem to have such an innocent relationship and I cannot wait to see what Ditter does with these two characters.

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinions. Welcome back to an amazing world where a new type of paranormal lives the Bracadytes .In this third story we meet up again with Vaulcron who is on a mission to save his people from the corrupt human government who has placed the blame of outbreak that is wiping out humans on them. Vaulcron meets and is interviewed by Mallory Cahill known as the Great White Shark .They want to get the real story out to the public and get the ones truly responsible punished .These two characters are very relate able and have such depth you cant help but fall into their story and ride along with them as the government chases them, the fall more and more for each other and we watch to see what will be the fate of the world.I cant wait to read the next book in this series each and every one so far has been out of this world .In my opinion this is the must read paranormal series of 2017.

I had the pleasure of enjoying the 3rd book in the Enigma series this morning. Vaulcron and Mallory's story. The series continues to expand on the characters, their lives, secrets and abilities. Vaulcron is such a sweet character and as he goes through the many emotions that come with interacting with the human race your heart cant help but break for him. Mallory is such an independent and fierce woman that you know she is going to be head strong and do as feels is best to protect everyone around her and at times although you are screaming for her to stop you understand why she does what she feels she must. I love the little glimpses of the other characters throughout and i cant wait to read more about them in futures installments.

Have it in Audio . Book 3 in the series. Paranormal story of a Merman and a human . Hero is Vulcron . Heroine is Mallory. Vulcron is the prince to the Merman . The virus is spreading like wildflower and both the president and VO of the States are trying to cover up the government Mistake . My fourth read/listen from author Ditter Kellen. After reading the sixth book in this series I went back to start at the beginning of the series and read Enigma, then Naura, book 2 in the series and now Vaulcron. I was given an Audible copy of this book & am voluntarily reviewing it . With each book Kellen writes the story-line gets more enticing. Well-written romantic sci-fic/suspense, captivating & intriguing with well-developed characters. I’ll be reading more in this series. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

This was the third book I read from this series. It was Enigma that caught my attention which led me to Naura and now, Vaulcron. This has been in my TBR list for some time.
I enjoyed the story. There is suspense, a conspiracy and a daring escape. I am glad that I have a copy of the next book as the story of Zaureth intrigues me. I hope the rest of the story in the series will be available again.

I love this series so much.. which says a lot because I am not typically a sci fi lover when it comes to books. movies yes.. books not so much.. however this series is wonderful. Ditter does an amazing job with her descriptions and her characters and makes me feel as if i am part of her world. it is amazing and i am so glad i got to review it

Another exciting and entertaining storyline...Vaulcron is yummy and is the perfect match for Mallory aka The Great White Shark!
Although the love stories are or at least seem quite similar they are all sexy and steamy! Those Bracadytes sure could teach the humans a thing or two or ten! MmmmMmmm...then again they are also learning a few things from their human mates *wink, wink

Mallory and Vaulcron story is a well written love story. Although my heart broke for Vaulcron due to Mallorys selfishness. She always seemed to put her career first instead of her love for him. But yet I understood her because all she wanted to do was protect him and for the truth to come out. Can't wait to see what's next!

Vaulcron by Ditter Kellan was another good book in the Enigma series. Vaulcron teams up with a human reporter known as the Great White Shark to save his people. Mallory didn't expect to fall for Vaulcron but running for her life helped her realize her feelings. I can't wait to read the rest of the series.

This book was an amazing read. It has everything from romance to the bad guy being a evil rat bastard. It even has a ultra smart sexy reporter for female lead. And the hero is water swimming/gill breathing bunch of hotness. This is book three put it down and read the first two first. Highly recommend it too much happens in the first two books that you will need to be up to date on.

You need to read this series in order. This story is about the Bracadyte clan and how they try to save their race. Vaulcron is the prince and gets in touch with a reporter, Mallory Cahill, to tell his people's story and how they are not the ones to blame for all the deaths. Mallory jumped at the opportunity to have a story of the year. But what she didn’t plan on was falling for Vaulcron.

Vaulcron, a Bracadyte Prince and heir to the throne meets Mallory Cahill a reporter known as the Great White Shark.
But all of Mallory's predator instincts as a reporter disappear upon meeting Vaulcron and change to a predatory nature of another kind. The attraction is Hot, Passionate and all-consuming.
Vaulcron arranges an interview with Mallory to expose the Government behind the conspiracy to blame the Bracadytes for the Deadly epidemic killing thousands of humans. The President, being unable to find Abigail and her child (from Enigma Book 1) has now decided to kidnap Mallory and Vaulcron and force them to produce a 1/2 Bracadyte 1/2 human child to find a cure for the Virus.
Mallory and Vaulcron escape with the help of Vaulcron's brothers and flee to Cuba for Safety. Vaulcron knows that Mallory is his mate and her feelings for Vaulcron are just as strong but Mallory knows if she doesn't release the interview with Vaulcron containing the truth of the Epidemic's origins that the Bracadytes will never be safe and therefore her and Vaulcron will never have future.
Knowing Vaulcron will stop her, Mallory flees back to Florida to leak the interview to through the media. She leaves a msg for Vaulcron saying she has no wish to be with him or his Mate (knowing that this is the only way to stop him from following her).
