They say the truth shall set you free, but for Kinsley, the truths she keeps discovering about her monstrous and dysfunctional family will entrap her in a quest to “do the right thing” as she naively marches right into the lion’s den with nothing but her heart, her brains and her impeccable style. At all costs she will strive to keep Killian safe, but lying is not in her nature, although because of her family line, she should be an expert. As Kinsley faces down the Mexican cartel involved in her grandfather’s trafficking rings, Kinsley will discover the an inner strength she never knew existed, even as they bring a battered and beaten Killian into their lair. Can Kinsley find a way to escape the claws of her vile grandfather with Killian by her side or will she trade her life for his in a desperate bid to keep the only man she has truly loved alive?

Half dead, Killian would rather die to save Kinsley, but is he a match for the newly minted strong-willed Kinsley? Ella Miles’ third book in the Maybe trilogy, Maybe Always may be her best yet as she slams home the final chapter in the love and lives of Killian and Kinsley.

They have lasted through betrayals. They have fought for each other. They have pushed each other away out of love. Now they may have to make the ultimate sacrifice in a final declaration of their feelings. Ms. Miles has given us two fascinating characters and let us watch as Kinsley finally finds her inner strength and will to stand against the horrors her family has been perpetuating. Killian has lost everything, his job, his woman and his freedom, but through it all, his heart never wavers. How can anyone not feel the turmoil that roils within the hearts of these two characters? The heart wants who the heart wants and these two are willing to risk it all for love. Can they bring down the monster of a business her family has created without getting jailed or worse?

No punches pulled, crisp writing, high octane emotions and intriguing suspense, clearly Ms. Miles has brought her Maybe series to life with passion. The hardest part to swallow was the ending, not because it was bad, it was fabulous, but just because it meant there will be no more sizzle, heat or passion from these two fantastic characters!

I received an ARC edition from Ella Miles in exchange for my honest review.

Kinsley has decided it is a good idea to infiltrate the criminal organization that her family has been a party to. Meanwhile, Killian is in jail and unable to help or protect her - until he escapes and is captured by the bad guys. Kinsley has to act like he means nothing to her in order to keep him alive.

This final book in the series was messed up. I think the reason I didn't like it was because both MC's changed TOO much from the first book that it was completely unbelievable. In book one, Kinsley was so naive and pampered that she couldn't even order a meal without someone doing it for her. While she gained some independence in book 2, it was just too unbelievable that she would suddenly have enough confidence and acting ability to pull off trying to trick seasoned criminals in book 3. Likewise, in book 1, Killian was a strong, confident, alpha/protector type. Book 2 he loses a little confidence as Kinsley is arrested and he questions his role in the FBI, but book 3? He's reduced to a weak puppy dog following Kinsley around - it was just too much. AND, the ending was ridiculous. While they got an HEA, the way it came about was unbelievable. This series started out so good, but the end was just disappointing. :(

Maybe Always was by far the best in the series! As I said in a previous review, I bought the collection version not realising it was 3 books. So this has been a long read for me and I've chosen to break it down through the 3 Books because reviewing the whole series in one would have been a disaster.

First off, I loved the progression of Kinsley - she was such a limp biscuit in the first book, following orders, naive and wishy washy as hell. By this book, she has grown to a true Warrior 'Princess'. Her learning cost has come at great price but she is now a woman undeterred.

All the pieces in this grizzly puzzle, including the true vile nature and secrets of her family have come to light and instead of letting Killian risk his life as an agent and go towards a certain death, Kinsley let's him go and goes to the most dangerous place there is - the monster's lair. Now that she knows what her family really deals in, she is determined to bring them down and everybody else involved and stop the cycle from ever continuing. The game she plays is risky and life threatening but now this girl has balls of steel and there's nothing that can stop her.

Meanwhile, Killian has been put in jail by the FBI for going rogue and running off with Kinsley in the last book, knowing much more than she did at that point and vowing to save her. Killian does manage an escape but what looks like a simple escape only lands him in the hands of the enemy leaving Kinsley's sacrifice to save the man she loves only to end up in the hands in the midst of the dragon's lair. And while Kinsley may be able to talk and deceive her way through, she's not so sure she can save him as his cover is blown and he's enemy number one.

This book got into all sorts of things - smuggling, human trafficking. The true reason behind her father's death, the revelation from letters from the dead as to the family history and what they are really involved in instead of casinos.

I was kind of 'meh' on the first book (partially because of a weak heroine) but the third book was downright good and a great finale to the series. All questions are finally answered, all truths finally revealed and throughout it all, Kinsley and Killian's love for each other shine through even in the darkest of times.

I was kind of hoping to just finish this damn series but after reading "Maybe Always", I'm actually really glad I did. It was full of suspense, harrowing moments, unconditional love, vile people, betrayal and, in the end, a great payoff to make me feel all was finally right in the world.

Glad I didn't review the all in one the collected works because my rating would be lower but since I reviewed each book separately, this one I can give an undoubted *****Always Stars!

WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK DID I JUST READ?

Maybe Always, which is the last installment of the Maybe series, was weird. Like completely weird. I honestly was so lost and wondering what the hell this book or series was about. I was expecting this series to be a lovey dovey one with some smut added to it - but what I got, man, I was not prepared for.

This book follows Kinsley and how she's going to end her families dirty business. She's off to Cancun while Killian is being arrested by the FBI. Of course, Kinsley.. being herself, well.. she get's into a lot of trouble. She is basically held captive by this drug cartel but they aren't just into drugs. Nope, they apparently sell people: kids, woman, etc. You name it and they probably sell it.

While I love how naive and innocent Kinsley is, we do get to see her darker side - a little bit of it. Nothing compared to how her grandfather and mother are though. God, I really did hate those two people. Especially since her grandfather killed her dad because he wanted out of whatever the hell they were doing. I was honestly shocked about this whole thing.. but I figured it was someone close to her dad anyways. Then there's her drunk mother, who I have nothing to say about. I didn't like how she treated Kinsley and I didn't give a single fuck about what happened to her in the end.

Shit definitely hits the fan in this book. Secrets are out now and who knows what's going to happen. Killian and Kinsley are reunited again, just not in good terms. He's the captive and she's playing pretend so that she can take down this dirty business once and for call. I kind of felt bad for her because her family is basically evil. However, I liked how Killian was always there for her. No matter what - they protected each other at all costs.

The romance was good and I was kind of expecting her to be pregnant at the end.. but I'll accept whatever I got. It was such a weird book that these two deserved a happy ending. I'm glad that I sort of took a chance on this weird and confusing series but I think I'm just glad that it's over.

3 "I'll take it as a yes" stars

I wish I could state the same...

I had ups and downs reading this book...I am not quite in the clear how I feel about it

Sure I got my closure, but all of a sudden this remarkable "awakening" of our heroine and the speedy way of her turning from a shy puppet into a badass pretense crime lady was just a little bit "too much/too fast" for any believable liking on my part.

I liked the pace of the storytelling I just didn't enjoy in every aspect of it. The transitions from one happening to another are roughly "cut" and you practically jump into it and then you catch on the details gradually. That made me lose then gain interest like a jo-jo...

over all, it could have been better...it could have been more...it just

*fuckin sigh*

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review through Wicked Reads.

I had quite mixed feelings about this series going in to this book. I felt like it should have been 1 book instead of split into 3 parts. I still feel like that now, but I did get some of the answers I had been waiting for in this one.
I really liked Kinsley and Killian's chemistry. The characters were interesting, the plot appealing, but it all sort of unraveled for me. It was a great plan, but Kinsley just got even more ignorant/flaky/ stupid as each book progressed. I had had hope for her, but it seriously was like a train wreck for me to read how stupid she was at times. I do understand that she had a goal and was doing things in the name of love, but really... that was a stretch. What put me off the most, was the completely ridiculous timing for the sex scenes. I'm sorry, but in those situations, you aren't going to be going at it and screaming during! I kept thinking it had to be a joke and then it got worse with the addition of a fetish mingled at the most bizarre time. I think that pretty much killed it for me. I read to the end and felt that even that was somewhat smashed into a few pages and rushed compared to the rest.
Overall, it was an okay series. It had great promise, but just didn't really live up for me. I do enjoy the writer's style and imagination, so I will be looking in to more books by her.

This series was a giant joke to me... I couldn’t keep up with anything at all because everything was literally all over the place. So much happened that I just had no clue wtf was happening or why tf it was happening.

I am seriously so glad this series is over because I am so over the all-over-ness of this book. I couldn’t even let the smut help me like this book because by this book it was just fucking weird. Like that first smut scene I finished reading it and I was just like WTF DID I JUST READ!

I’m just so happy this is done and over with.

I don't know what to say. I was waiting for this book very much but now i really don't know if i can say that again.
I liked the pace. I liked the story even just not some parts of it. I liked Killian very much. But can't say the same about Kinsley.

Sure i got the closure that i wanted but just not in a way that i expected. The conclusion to their story could have been a bit different.

I read and reviewed my personal copy of this book for Wicked Reads, so here is my review.

This one picks up where book two ends with Kinsley on her way back to the States to turn herself in to the FBI or so it seems. While Killian was left behind in Ireland and when he steps off the plane in New York he is arrested by his FBI buddy and taken to jail.
After Kinsley reads the letter from her father, she realizes she never knew him or her family at all. And she feels she must do what is right and to do that is to lie to everyone around her so she can learn the truth.
Killian will do what he can to protect her and but maybe he should have told her the truth from the beginning. Then maybe she would not have run from him to learn the truth on her own.
Will the truth be able to set them free or will it destroy them in the end? Will Kinsley really find out just who they dealt with and what her father and grandfather were up to?
I found Kinsley to be a naive and too innocent for her age from the beginning but she grew up quickly during this story with the help of Killian. I enjoyed the series and can't wait for Scarlett's story.

So many questions are answered but several aren't. I guess that means I have to read the Definitely series to see if any are answered there. *sigh* ...Oh, who am I kidding, I already planned to read that!

Back to Killian and Kinsley, their story takes a myriad twists, turns, and loop-de-loops. Things get super crazy for a while there yet the chemistry between the two never dwindles. I enjoyed this as part of the Maybe series.

UPDATED: Audiobook - I previously read the book but can say for certain that this book and series are FANTASTIC - whether you are reading, listening (where the narrators are great and make the story so awesome to listen to), or a bit of both! Kinsley and Killian are great characters! In this final installment to their story, you continue to get the heartache, heartbreak, joy, angst, love, suspense, and crazy. I don't recommend reading or listening to this without the other books first. I'm looking forward to Scarlet's story.

Nope nope. What was this. I lost it after the first paragraph, when our young heroine decides she will walk into organized crime and fit in because she was the boss's daughter, and she know it all. But wait, she does that and the so called mafia men etc, head honcho accepts her and starts to reel off all the organisation secrets to her like nada. I was done, but hey like a rain wreck i continued and was even more flabbergasted as it continued.

The big bad agent cried, got caught by the bad guys, get tossed in their cells, gets whipped by the girl but then hey no cameras so why not get a shag in the meantime aye or make sweet love ( how you wanna call it).

At this point i gave up and skimmed to the very end and thank the stars i didn't purchase this or i would have gotten my money back. Harsh but true.

Wow... very nice ending to the series. I love to read a book where the author makes me feel the character's emotions and Ella Miles did that with this book. I could feel Kinsley's pain and at some times her despair with the whole situation. She really grew on me and I was amazed with her courage throughout the book, from whipping Karp to shooting Killian and having to stomach her grandfather. The book kept me on edge the whole time and I kept thinking "ok, where's my HEA?" :)
I only wish we could have seen a bit more of the aftermath, but I guess we'll hear more of Kinsley and Killian in Scarlett's book. Another great book from Ella Miles and definitely a recommended read!

Kinsley And Killian Both Face Real Danger Throughout This Final Nail-Biting Book In The Series As They Attempt To Bring Down A Dark And Brutal Trafficking Ring.

This is the third book in the three part Maybe trilogy, which is part of the six part Maybe Definitely series. The second book ended in a cliffhanger.

From the first book, Kinsley Elizabeth Felton, twenty-one, had rooms full of designer clothes but she could take them or leave them. A model since age twelve, she was about to graduate from Yale with a degree in theater. She hadn't dated in three years, since breaking up with her high school boyfriend. She followed all the plans her father and grandfather carefully laid out for her, never wanting to be the cause of disappointment. She had caused too much trouble five years earlier. She wouldn't risk being the cause of more trouble for her family.

Her grandfather, Lee Felton, built the family empire from a single Las Vegas casino into nearly twenty properties. Felton Corporation has remained a family company for generations. As the sole heir, Kinsley understands that she is expected to agree to an arranged marriage to a man her father and grandfather feel will make a good CEO and husband.

Killian Byrne, thirty, has dark piercing eyes and reeks of sex-appeal. He doesn't smile much. He was VP of Operations at Felton Corporation and being considered for the CEO position. With a business degree from Harvard and some law school under his belt, he was recruited to Felton Corporation five years earlier. He formed a deep bond with Kinsley's father, Robert. Three years ago, he was informed about a plan for him to marry Kinsley and become CEO. Because of her age, he did not approach Kelsey.

The plan got turned upside down when Kinsley's father died of a heart attack suddenly, and Kinsley learned that the timetable had shifted and a marriage would take place in six months. She had always done as told, but said she can't do this. Even if his considerable appeal did tempt her to agree, Killian didn't want to marry her unless forced to for the CEO position.

The atmosphere was explosive when Kinsley and Killian met in Las Vegas. They danced around their feelings for one another throughout the book. Despite their incredible chemistry, both struggled with admitting to their developing feelings. But just when they accepted their love for one another, Kinsley was ripped from his arms and arrested by the FBI, and at the same time learned that Killian was the man responsible for her arrest. He had worked as an undercover agent for the FBI for five years trying to take down her family. The story closed with Kinsley in a jail cell.

From the second book, the couple struggled to find their way back together. They both have a sad history, and both stories are revealed. Killian faced a choice: Kelsey or the FBI. He could not be loyal to both. He was forced to testify against Kelsey. She refused to testify against her grandfather and adamantly believed no crimes had been committed. When all charges were suddenly dropped, she made her way back to Killian. But their happiness was short lived when Killian insisted that her father and grandfather were guilty. Kelsey begins a search for the truth. As it begins to unfold, the FBI has renewed interest. Killian tries to protect Kelsey from the ugly truth, the FBI, and the danger that follows her. Their story ends with the couple separated as Kinsley attempts to right the wrongs of her family.

In this book, Kinsley finds herself in Mexico. Her grandfather isn’t there, however. His business partners, the Marlows, allow her a chance to live if she proves herself. Her test: to kill Killian. Kinsley and Killian both face real danger throughout this final nail-biting book in the series as they attempt to bring down a dark and brutal trafficking ring. The couple enjoys a brief happy ending.

The Definitely trilogy, which is the second part of the six part Maybe Definitely series, follows. Scarlett, Kinsley’s best friend, gets her own story.

Killian and Kinsley’s love is tested in this book. Killian’s career is in ruins, and Kinsley discovers her privileged life was built upon lies. They don’t even have one another in this book. Kinsley is motivated by morals, while Killian desperately hopes to save the woman he loves, even if it means his own death. The world they move in is ugly, but they try to remain true to themselves.

There are a are few loose ends that merit mention. First, we know there is a new mole in the FBI, which is ominous since it could be one of Killian’s former coworkers. Second, Lee Felton’s entire scheme following his son’s death remains unexplained. It is unclear why he continued to push for Kinsley to marry Killian or how he meant to resolve that complication.

This book is well-written and plot-driven. The plot is suspenseful with unexpected twists and turns. It is written in first person. The POV alternates between Killian and Kinsley. I rate this book four stars.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I'm honestly shocked I finished this book. Had I not already been invested by the first two, I probably would've DNFed it before 50%. It was so outlandish, so unbelievable, so frustrating, so confusing. I wasn't expecting it to be the trainwreck it ended up being.
So, Kinsley takes her naive ass all the way to Mexico to, what, take on the entire criminal entity her family was involved in? What could have POSSIBLY convinced her she was qualified to do ANYTHING she set her mind on? The total 180° Kinsley did was so not believable. Was she stronger in this book? Absolutely. Was it competent character development? Not at all.
So she's in Mexico busy being held captive, and Killian is busy getting arrested. He's in jail where he meets his cell mate who gives him free food the very first time they interact. And Killian eats all the food before he thinks, "Hey, I'll probably have to pay this dude back for the food. Oh well..." For being in the FBI, he's so freaking dumb.
Anyway, word comes out that Kinsley's body, along with her grandpa's and mom's,
has been found. So Killian is losing his shit, but not in a believable way. He's told he'll be released by the end of the day, but he chooses to escape with his cellmate before that. The same cellmate that gave him free food, then immediately included him in an escape plan, without asking for anything in return. And Killian had the audacity to call Kinsley naive... 🙄
So he escapes only to be taken hostage when they arrive. We figure out that his cellmate is brothers with the guy holding Kinsley hostage. Small world, they're reunited in Mexico by the bad guys. At some point, Kinsley is told by the bad guys that Killian killed her dad because he found out Killian was FBI and got nervous, so Killian murdered him. I know I know, it didn't even make sense as a plausible lie. But Kinsley's dumb ass actually considered it. EVEN THOUGH SHE HAD READ THE LETTER HER FATHER WROTE HER explaining that he knew Killian was FBI and they had plans to take the whole criminal outfit down together. So why the heck would she believe a bad guy she's known for all of 24 hours that the love of her life murdered her dad?! Because she's Kinsley, that's why.
They want her to kill Killian for murdering her dad, and it'll act as an initiation as well. But she can't kill him so she just beats the crap out of him instead. Then there's this weird whipping sex scene that made absolutely no sense. She whipped Killian while they did it to cover up the sounds of his moans. I guess just NOT having sex wasn't an option. Like their level of horniness was ridiculous. What little common sense they had went right out the window whenever her vaj was within a 20 mile radius of his man meat.
So they get moved to another location the criminal outfit has, in Paris. All this convoluted moving around happens, none of it makes sense, and then they're taken on a yacht with human trafficking victims for some reason, where Killian and the victims escape, but Kinsley stays behind? Again, none of it makes sense. He gets away, calls the FBI, who drags its feet to move in, and then he GOES BACK TO PARIS to watch over the building the criminal outfit is working out of. But he can't "stay away from Kinsley" and must "uphold his promise to her dad to protect her at all costs." So he takes his happy ass across the street because he can't just keep eyes on them for 5 more hours. He gets caught, duh. Then Kinsley is forced to shoot him to prove her loyalty to the bad guys after her grandpa has her whipped to an inch of her life. So she shoots Killian, he's bleeding out, her grandpa admits to killing her dad, then she mentions sharp pain in her lungs before we fade to black and wake up in a hospital. We're never told what happened to Kinsley to wind her up at the hospital. But she has to talk to the authorities before she can see Killian who, surprise, is still alive. And instead of calling Killian or putting a word out that she'd like to see him she just accepts that she has to be released and sent home...? Her thought processes were scattered to the wind at this point and I stopped trying to make sense of anything way before now. But he finds a garden at the hospital and proposes to her with a cheap toy ring.
She sold the company and donated ALL the money she made from that to charity so they can struggle in a loft apartment in New York. He finally finds a job and proposes with a real ring. And she's immediately talking about babies... So they have sex one more time, for good measure.
I don't even feel like I need to break down all the reasons this book wasn't for me. The summary kind of makes all my points for me.
Now that I've finished the series, I can honestly say I wouldn't recommend this book. It wasn't the worst book I've ever read, but it's definitely on the list of books I feel wasted my time.

Terrific Story & Narration🎧 Captivating & Intense!
Maybe Always
Maybe, Definitely, Book 3
By: Ella Miles
Narrated by: Keira Stevens, Wen Ross

What an exciting and thrilling ending to the “Maybe, Definitely” series. This book picks up right where the second one left off, Kinsley went off on her own to get to the bottom of what her family business was all about. She goes into dangerous territory and is up against some dangerous people but she wants to make things right. She left Killian for his own good, hoping he will not lose his job or his life. Kinsley finds out her Grandfather and Father were involved in way more than money laundering and drugs, they were partnered with dark and dirty players in Mexico and Kinsley is going to take them all down. To do so she has to play into their hands. It was great to see Kinsley come into her own, she was always smart and determined but we see more of her fierce side in this book. We also see how much Killian loves her and to what ends he go to keep her alive, a life for a life. A lot goes on in this book, it is cleverly plotted and there is never a dull moment with plenty of drama, angst, twists and turns, thrilling and suspenseful moments and some hot loving. Ella Miles, thank you for this awesome series and epic conclusion.

I listened to the Audible edition, Keira Stevens and Wen Ross are fantastic narrators and voice artists. They continue to bring the characters and their story to life. They do an amazing job portraying the characters, humanizing them, capturing their personality and emotions which is reflected in to their performance. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another awesome listen🎧

Kinsley found her grandfather's note with a letter from her father in Killian's pocket. He had lied to her...again. Now that she knew the truth she was going to make everything right. She left a note for Killian that she was on her way to turn herself in, but she wasn't on her way to Vegas...she was going to Mexico. She was going to stop this.

Kinsley had learned that not only was her family guilty of the crimes they are charged with but they are even worse monsters than she was led to believe. It is much worse than money laundering and fraud. Her family is into human trafficking and she plans to end it.

As soon as Killian arrives in the US he is put under arrest for harboring a criminal. He knew immediately that Kinsley had lied about returning to Vegas to turn herself in. Now he had to convince the FBI that she was innocent and her life was in danger.

What an amazing story! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. This is the conclusion of the Maybe Trilogy and what a finish! Keira Stevens & Wen Ross continue their narration of these characters and do an amazing job bringing them to life. I loved listening to Keira, but Wen's voice is just swoon worthy as he portrays Killian.

This book is action packed, full of danger, intrigue and suspense. Beware if you have triggers are this book has torture, human trafficking and other sensitive subject matter. This book is smoking hot even through all the danger.

Killian had a surprising reaction to Kinsley's punishments and the blackout scene in Paris was bizarre considering the circumstances, but I totally loved this story and the characters. Looking forward to more books by Ella Miles and audiobooks by Keira Stevens & Wen Ross.

I was offered an ARC of this book, but got it through Kindle Unlimited instead. Regardless, this is an honest review.

This is the final installment in this 3-book series about the daughter of criminals, Kinsley, and undercover FBI agent, Killian. It has violence, sex, and an overall dark theme. This means it is not sunshine and rainbows. It is a gritty story about the power of love and anyone who reads the summary should understand that. There are elements of being turned on by violence so if that offends you, you shouldn't read it. I was able to see how that fit into the story, but please understand, this was not BDSM between consenting adults in some cases.

In this story, Kinsley has grown up even more and realized her family is full of criminals. Killian's cover has been blown. This is about seeing if their feelings are real and where their loyalties lie. A few times I thought their actions were stupid and reckless, but if you embrace the idea that Kinsley is trying to make things right and Killian is trying to protect her most of it makes sense.

The story was darker than what I usually read and I'll be picking up a light romance for a change after this, but I'm happy with the ending. I'm planning to read the spin-off (Definitely series) and hope it's less violent and dark but still have a strong connection between the characters and just as much steam.

Kinsley finds herself trying to stay alive, but also wanting to be with the man she loves, but after the lies, can they even be together? Can she trust Killian or the FBI? But when she reads her father's letter, she knows what she has to do, but the question is can she handle it and the people she must face. Will the darkness win her soul?

Killian knows he needs to save Kinsley, but he can't do that behind bars. But when the FBI doesn't believe him, he turns to the wrong people for help. But when he is face to face with Kinsley again does he see anger or lust in her eyes for him? Has Nacio turned her against him already?

Killian and Kinsley face some hard, dark, delicious times together, but will it make them closer or will they go their separate ways or both end up dead? This book is a great way to end the series of Kinsley and Killian. It is full of so many emotions, finding yourself, lust, love, romance, justice (or a form thereof) and a happy ending! You will not be disappointed in the series, it will have you hooked from page one of book one. But does the darkness end with what happened in Paris or does it continue with Scarlett? I can't wait to read her story!! I reviewed an ARC of this book from the author.

Holyyyyyy! what a way to wind up a series - think a little novella is in order to see into the future of how Kinsley's Mom and Grandfather are doing, once the FBI nabs them.

I was so scared for Kinsley when she got to Mexico; she was so innocent and naïve with the ways of anything, really. Her Dad had always told her what would be expected of her, and where her life would lead. Family first.....
When things go awry in the second book - she only thinks of saving Killian and getting justice for the victims of her family's business.
So in this book, she does get to Mexico, and infiltrates the business down there - scary - little does she know that Killian is "freed" from FBI custody and is brought to Mexico. Kinsley is stunned, but plays along that she doesn't really love him anymore - but she will do anything, almost, to save him and the numerous women and children stolen from the families.
She and Killian are triumphant.
Loved the story of this book and the love between Kinsley and Killian, they would do anything to do the right thing.
Deserves more than 5*

Kinsley is determined to not only protect Killian but to expose the truth about her family and their business. That means leaving him behind as she takes matters into her own hands.

Killian’s career with the FBI is in jeopardy now that Kinsley has disappeared. His only concern is finding a way out of the predicament he finds himself in so that he can find Kinsley and try to keep her safe. Out of options he trusts the wrong person and although they are reunited it only increases the danger they are in as they are both determined to save the other with no consideration for themselves.

Their journey takes us on an adventure filled with intrigue, surprises and heat but the one things you can be sure of is that there is no denying the depth of the love that Kinsley and Killian have for each other. I thought that the narrators were captivating, and they made a compelling story that much better.

Ok, now that I finished all 3 books I am ready to write a full review for the Ella Miles series Maybe.
So what we have: Maybe Yes, Maybe Never, Maybe Always.
First of all, I can't believe I kept them 2 years on my TBR list! If I would know how good they are I would choose them so much sooner!
The first book introduces you to Kinsley, a naive 21-year-old, spoiled, wealthy daddy-daughter whose only concern is who she will marry. Things get complicated when she is arrested for something she can't understand. And this is not all, soon she will find out all her life has been one big lie! Nothing is what she thought it is! Kinsley has morals and strength to dig deep for the truth but this will get her just into trouble.
The tried book has some annoying moments but in general, all three books are truly amazing! I am sad I didn't jump on them sooner. Now I have a dilemma, do I follow my list or grab the spin-off series Definitely...

I received an ARC from Ms. Miles, and this is my honest review. This is the third book in the Definitely, Maybe trilogy. I could not have asked for a better ending! While in jail, Killian is told and shown Kinsley's charred body. He escapes to seek his vengeance. Kinsley attempts to infiltrate the smugglers in order to exact her vengeance and seek to end the family business. I will not say more about the story line. Kinsley, Killian, her family, and the smugglers all clash together to get the upper hand. This is the darkest book in the series. There are many triggers, and I recommend this to those 21+ due the violence and themes. I found this book to be the perfect finish to Kinsley and Killian's story. I can not wait to find out what happens to Scarlett. Thank you Ms. Miles for introducing me to a dark, gritty, and tragic story that sunk its claws in and would not let me go.

This is the third and final book in the first trilogy of the series. To fully understand what's going on, the books should really be read in order. I do have to say that I liked the first two books a little better than this one, mainly because a few things seemed somewhat unrealistic. The main characters were okay but I just couldn't connect with them, especially Kinsley. I did like Killian and kept hoping things would work out okay for him. There is more darkness to this one, so if that bothers you, you might want to pass on it. Overall, I did like the series and am interested in reading the second trilogy of it.

This is the last book in the "Maybe" series. We left off when Kinsley ran away from Killian In Ireland in order to protect his job and save him from the evils of her family. Now it's her turn to do the right thing. But first she needs to earn the trust of the Mexican boss to get a foot In the door so she can end her family's legacy once and for all.

In book #3, Killian gets arrested at the airport by the FBI for helping her run. They throw him in jail and he has nothing but time on his hands knowing that she'll die without his help. But he has nothing from her but a "Dear John" letter.

Meanwhile, Kinsley's in Mexico working with the men running the smuggling business. They kidnap women and children and sell them to the highest bidder. She needs to gain their trust and then call the FBI. But when they bring Killian to Mexico as a hostage to prove her loyalty, the game changes.

I just couldn't get over how fast Kinsley evolved into this strong woman from being so submissive in both books 1 & half of book 2. Yes, she's doing the right thing by exposing her family, but it just didn't sit right with me.

I liked the first two books in this series found thes end ending of this trilogy to be somewhat disappointing. I wish there would have been more background given on the happenings of the FBI, how The Felton Corporation ran, and the criminal enterprise worked. For instance, I thought the part explaining how Nacio and Santiago paid their men to be very interesting.

I am not opposed to reading about dark topics in books but I don't think it needed to be included in Killian and Kinsley's relationship. The way it was introduced and handled felt like it was crammed into the story.

It’s a shocking conclusion to Kinsley and Killian’s story and not at all what I thought it would be. This book goes to some very dark places. Places that are a lot darker than I ever expected the story to go. Even knowing where the story had already taken us, I was caught off guard. In order to free themselves from the web of lies surrounding them, Kinsley and Killian are pushed to the very edge in order to survive. A lot of the choices they have to make push their already fragile relationship to the breaking point in order to earn their happily ever after.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
