If you love repetitive plot and no conclusion or open ending in your book, this is for you. Not for me though, I don't like being trolled. Feels like there's no point, just an excuse to draw smut, and it's just an endless circle of , repeat it for every chapters in this book, except the last one : , and then back to the first circle again. This could be 4 stars, but the repetition and the ending ruined it.
I love love love love love this. The uke is a fanthom thieve and the seme is a detective/police officer. They played cat and mouse and oh gosh, this is so good?
The premise and the first chapter made it look like this is going to be a light-hearted story but then the back stories and mystery element came in.
I read this manga because one of the review on goodreads said that it's like magic kaito but yaoi.I'm a huge fan of Shinichi/Kid and Hakuba/Kid so I was looking forward to read a parody of the story I love...
The thing is, this story is NOT a magic kaito parody. The setting and relationship dynamic might be heavily inspired from the anime/manga but the characters and their motives are completely different. The thieve seems frivolous and sex-crazed and the policeman foolish but there's a lot more to these two than we were initially led to believe.
I was going to give this 4 stars because I'm salty about the fact that the story is not complete. But then I can't help myself.I will be waiting and dying for a continuation.
P.S. There was this detective guy who appeared in one chapter. He's wearing a suit and has light hair, very ikemen face. He's name is Saguru and that confirmed the fact that the author took inspiration from magic kaito rip my heart.
I absolutely LOVED this manga I'm sobbing. Aside from Kashima's beautiful art, this manga was hilarious and I usually don't do comedy. I really loved how Grey always tricked Sudo, even to the last pages of the story. I cracked up, wondering how Sudo just wouldn't learn. I was curious about who Grey was
I just couldn't put this down Need to buy it! And reread it forever
Currently reading this and it's literally like Magic Kaito 1412 as a yaoi, but different characters. Watch Magic Kaito and you'll know what I mean ( it's exactly like it oh my god I'm dying at the similarities )! I wonder if it's inspired by it but it probably is because that anime/manga is very popular in Japan. The art is gorgeous tbh.
I liked the manga, but It's still not clear to me if Grey was really Aruse or not. I think he was, too many things connected them... I wish the author would continue this story and tell us more about Grey's past....
