Having happily ever after is never easy when evil lurks nearby. Now that Claudia has her memories back and her life seems to have settled down, the fallen have come out of hiding with the news about Aliah’s and his demons’ death. The fallen coming out of hiding is not a concern; there are those who want to be left alone. However, one particular fallen, Dantanian, is hungry for revenge. Being one of God’s first fallen angels, he is the evilest of his kind, known as an angel of many faces. He will do anything to get his way, even if it means forcing others to join him. And he will stop at nothing to get Michael on his side.

Dantanian will torture, kill for pleasure, and concoct evil schemes to get Michael’s attention; and once in his hands, he will try to destroy all the happiness Michael fought so hard to gain. Having no support from the Twelve, and with Claudia temporarily losing her powers, the venators and the alkins must work together once again to save their friends. As death draws near to those captured by Dantanian, will the gang reach them in time? Or will Michael return to the dark angel he once was and destroy everyone he loves?

I was gifted a copy from the author for an honest review.
This is the end of the journey for the Crossroads saga and one that will stay with me for an Eternity. Author Mary Ting has brought us a story to read over and over again.
“With every breath I take, with every beat of my heart, I will love you for eternity, and even in death, I’ll love you still”. Sigh, how touching that quote is from the book. This is the ending of a series that I have grown to love and hate to see it go. Michael and Claudia have finally found serenity, the peace they have longed to have and now have their children to look out for and love. Two angels that heaven has allowed them to have and watch grow. But the fallen have other plans. They are looking for the one that can help them defeat God’s plan and take over.
Berneal and Dantanian are plotting their revenge. They want Michael to join them, again, or die in the process. But has he changed or was that part of the plan from the beginning to go back to his old ways? Will his love and friendship for his friends and Claudia be enough for him to fight what possibly was or is his destiny? What memories will awaken and possibly change the future as Michael as known it to be?
It is with heavy emotions to see this story end, but every story has an ending and this one is one I plan on reading over and over again. Ms. Ting has out done herself with this ending and showing us how Love and Friendship has no boundaries. Thank you for such a wonderful saga.

I have been waiting for this book and I finally have it! What can I say? Words escape me.
Painting a beautiful picture with your words, Mary Ting… again you did it girl; you wrote a beautiful, passionate, true love, true friendship story. Everything from this series was astounding and beautifully written…a page turner. Grab the tissue box because Mary Ting has touched our hearts again with yet another incredible story.
From beginning to end I was just lost in the characters and their moments. Once again Michael’s & Claudia’s love is in jeopardy. Crossroads Saga continues and this time Michael’s past comes back to haunt him. Dantanian, a fallen angel and an old friend but now an enemy of Michael wants him back on his side and will do anything to make him go back to being who he was, even if it means hurting his love ones. Michael, Claudia and the whole gang are at it again, fighting fallen angels…lots of action going on here. Love really has no boundaries when it comes to Claudia and Michael, their love is for Eternity.
A great ending to a perfect series! It saddens me to know that this is the end, but none the less it was one amazing ride.

“Multiply my love by infinity and take it to the depths of forever, and you still have only a glimpse of how I feel for you. I love you more.” (Michael to Claudia)

A Fitting End to My Favorite Angel Saga

I was so excited to be able to read Eternity but it is bittersweet knowing that this is the last book in the Crossroads Saga Series. Reading this is like welcoming old friends back home. Claudia & Michael have found happiness together or so it would seem until someone from Michael’s past comes back to wreak havoc in their lives.

I love the twists and turns the storyline takes which allows you a look into Michael’s past. Without giving anything away I love the new “additions” to the Crossroads family.
Eternity as in the other books in the series teaches you that all things are possible with love and perseverance. It truly teaches you that Love & Friendship has no boundaries.

Mary Ting is an amazing author and you can tell that she writes from the heart. I have found a friend and I believe that “our” angels have brought us together. I am not just a fan and I consider her to be a friend and she is indeed my Angel Butterfly Sister.

I hope everyone will read the entire series and I promise you that you will fall in love with it too. It’s hard for me to say goodbye to it so I will just say “see you when I see you."

Eternity was the final book in this series, Oh my angels! I loved this series, the passion, the love, friendship, the panic in the battle and the emotions. It's all felt real to me. Mary Ting had done it again. By the way, why was Davin not with Avalon? I thought they were a sure thing, and I really liked Davin's witty remark, he's such a funny Alkin. Though I'm sad it's over, but there's a spin-off of this series that I can read next, Yeah, and this time it's about Claudia and Michael's children. I hope it would be amazing too!

Review

I was so excited for 'Eternity'! It's the fourth and final instalment in the 'Crossroads Saga' and after traveling on this journey since book one, I was eager to find out how it would all go down.
I had complete cover-lust for this novel! 'Eternity's cover was absolutely romantic and beautiful and phenomenal! I loved the colours and the general design. I also really admired how the meadow of wheat in which Claudia and Michael stand in was the same one used in book one, 'Crossroads'. It was kind of like "it will all end where it started".
I was absolutely enchanted with the start of the novel! There was such a nice surprise that I think it ruined me for any other works in this series. I was SO happy for Claudia and Michael! I liked how well the last novel linked to the spin-off series 'The Angel Knights'!
'Eternity' is written in third person narration and follows multiple character perspectives from minor ones, like Austin and Dantanian, to our main leads', Michael and Claudia. The transition from one character to another was something that should be worked on. I think that it was a bit confusing at times as there were so many quick changes but I liked the fact that the author tried to include so many different views.
The chemistry between Claudia and Michae was SINCERELY and UTTERLY OFF THE CHARTS. Seriously, people, if you're in for some clearly implied hot/heavy/sexy scenes that do not actually delve into the...arghm...action...than pick up the 'Crossroads Saga'! With that all said, I'd strongly recommend this novel to a higher young-adult audience. Some of the scenes would just destroy the poor innocent minds of twelve to fourteen year olds.
The writing also contained too much telling and not enough showing. There were moments when the author would point out the most obvious of situations which I believe they didn't need to be. I would also doubt the love of Michael and Claudia because they would tell the other "I love you" sooooo many times and it would just become too overused. There were so many special moments for me that I felt were just less for me due to that. I would strongly recommend that the author concentrate more on subtle character actions such as body language. I believe this would REALLY and SIGNIFICANTLY impact the quality of her work.
The story took a little time getting on its feet and then finally rolling around to the climax of the plot. It dragged on for the first half and I didn't entirely understand why.
When it did roll around a little more than halfway through the novel, I loved it. The battle scenes and the general "chaos" scenes that most action-genred novels include were done a WHOLE lot better than the author's first attempts at those. I really enjoyed following the authors progress and maturity as an author.
There were a few formatting issues in the novel. At the end of some chapter an unnecessary blank page was left. It was easy to ignore but it ruined the general appeal of actually reading the paperback.
There were NO typos or spelling mistakes that I could spot in my reading copy, which was fantastic! Grammar was good, yet the prose could have still been worked on a little.
I can't wait for the spinoff series! The ending of 'Eternity' wrapped everything up quite well and allowed for a great connection between the 'Crossroads Saga' and the 'Angel Knights' series!
Congratulations to Mary Ting on publishing the long-awaited, FINALE to the 'Crossroads Saga'!

Rating Plan
1 star : Strongly did not like the book, writing and plot was bad. Idea of the book was against my liking.
2 star : Didn't like it, didn't find it interesting or gripping. Seemed to drag on to me.
3 star : An average book. Wasn't bad or good. Everything else was well done. Original idea.
4 star : Like a 3 star but has potential to it as a series or the book grew on me as it progressed and certain scenes captured me. I Enjoyed it and read it in one sitting.
5 star : I LOVED IT! I stayed up late until 3 am. Author is a genius, characters, plot, idea, development, EVERYTHING was EXCELLENT. Nothing else can possibly be said except that its 5 STAR!

INITIAL THOUGHTS
I decided on adding this "Initial thought's feature to share my thoughts as I was reading the book with you. Here are the three status updates I did whilst reading Eternity.
"Oh wow I'm drawn straight back into this book and am totally in love with the characters all over again, already!" "No, no NO, it's danger again for Michael & Claudia again will they ever get a happy ending?" "Totally in love with this series"

MY REVIEW
I received an e-copy of this book directly from World Castle Publsihing & Mary Ting in exchange for my honest review.
I really like the cover of this book, it's a view of Crossroads or somewhere in Beyond. I love the fact Mary has incorporated the white wings into every cover of her book series. I love the wings.
Would the cover make me pick the book up in a bookstore? Definitely.
So this book starts with Michael and Claudia contented and blissfully happy in their home that Michael built. Everything is going really well and then one day Claudia faints. Michael immediately panics and takes her from their home in Beyond to see Anne in Halo City. Anne uses her powers to examine Claudia and the surprising result is that Claudia is pregnant. this kind of puts Claudia and Michael in an awkward position as pregnancy is forbidden. Some of the Twelve will no doubt frown upon them again, as they did when thier relationship was made public too. Finally they get to tell their friends too, Davin, Vivan and Caleb who are thrilled at the idea of being "aunties and uncles". The down side of the pregnancy is that it kind of smothers her special powers, which means in a fight she would be fighting only as a human. But that's ok because everything is quiet isn't it?
Well that's the problem trouble is brewing, Dantanian and Berneal are gathering the fallen for a war. there is no choice involved in joining them in their fight. You join them or die. So when Dantanian requests that Raven get involved in tricking Michael's friends she has little to no choice. Michael has to face the horrific things he did in the past when he was one of the fallen. Claudia goes though many changes throughout this book due to her pregancy and her powers. There is also a special rather miraculous thing that happens near the second half of the book too.
Hmm now it's difficult as I do not want to give up anymore of the story . . . . so I'll need to leave things there.
Through reading this series I have really grown to love and care about all the characters within it. You like Davin for his corny jokes that rub off onto the others. Then theirs Vivian who helps Michael when he wants to buy gifts of clothes for Claudia. Then there's Caleb who is always there to help. They'd all risk, and give their lives for Claudia and Michael, and it may well come to that in this book.
I also love how Mary Ting describes things so well you can literally see them in your own head! The book has action, adventure, danger, and evil as well as featuring love and friendship too. I don't think anyone could read this book and not sigh, sniffle, tear up, tense up, be at the edge of your seat. You go through many emotions during this book series. I think everyone would think "Where's my Michael?"whilst reading this book too.
I can honestly say I have enjoyed every book in this series and definitely come to love the series. I could really go on and on about this book and the series too, I can't say enough good things about it!
So did I enjoy the book? I really loved this book even though I was sad as it is the final book in the series we are saying goodbye to all the brilliant characters I have grown to love over this fantastic series. Would I recommend the book? I recommend the whole series! Would I read other books by Mary Ting? I'm in the process of reading From Gods by Mary Ting now!

I received a copy of this book from the author in return for an honest review.

This is the fourth and final book in the Crossroads Saga. I loved it!

Claudia Emerson is a fantastic character. She has endured a lot in her life: from the deaths of her best friend and Grandmother, to losing her memory. However, I found her to be an extraordinary woman. She has grown with her experiences, and is a pretty formidable opponent. But, she is about to face her toughest challenge yet!

I fell in love with this series when I first read Crossroads last year. I have been looking forward to reading this book ever since I heard it was being written. I knew that I was in for an exciting and fast paced read, and the author didn't disappoint! However (and this is NOT a complaint), Claudia is not as involved with this story compared to the other books, even though she is there. There is a reason for this, but I'm not saying what it is! You will have to read the book to find out for yourselves! It made a nice change to follow Davin and the rest of the Alkins and the Venators as they carried out their duties. I think that Davin has also grown in this series. He has become a leader (and an able one at that). I did find that I missed him, his bad jokes and his love of salsa notwithstanding! He is one of my favourite characters in this series. There are some twists and turns in the story which kept me hooked! Dantanian may be evil, but I didn't get the impression that his character was as strong as it could have been. He reminded me of a bully who has low self-esteem issues.

Mary Ting is an amazing author! Her characters are extremely lifelike and likable. I added her to my favourite authors list a while back. Her books are a joy to read (when they're not making you cry!). They are fast paced, take you on a roller coaster ride of emotion and flow beautifully!

I highly recommend this book (and series) if you love YA, Paranormal Romance, Angels, Demons, Nephilim and Alkins. - Lynn Worton

Eternity by Mary Ting completes the Crossroads Saga and like the other books in the series it is truly one of my all time favorites. Having defeated Aden and driven the Fallen into hiding we find Claudia & Michael blissfully enjoying their new life together. For them and the Alkins it is a time of celebration but also a sense of foreboding unrest. A long forgotten threat emerges to shatter all that Claudia and Michael hold dear to their hearts. Can Claudia save the day once more or will she lose Michael to the darkness that once held him in its grasp?

There were many parts of this book that I loved and was glad the author included in this final installment especially the first glimpses into Michael's world with the Fallen. He was ruthless to say the least and it really goes to show you how much he has changed and developed as a character throughout the series. I like to think of Michael as a strong, sexy, sensitive alpha male - a protector. But this is the first time that we see a real fear within him - a fear that he could lose everything in an instant - his family, his friends and himself. The author captured that perfectly!! Again, a well written, fast-paced, enjoyable and heartfelt story.

For me it is bittersweet to read, Eternity, the final & most heartfelt book in the Crossroads Saga. Truly a mesmerizing world created by a wonderful and talented author. Claudia & Michael's love story will live on in word's amongst a book's pages and in our hearts now and forever.

Not only is this one of my favorite genres but now one of my new favorite series. I am obsessed with these covers they are a work of art like the story. This series sucks you in and won't let go even after you have read the last page of the last book. You become so invested in these characters it is incredible. It is a very wholesome take on a romantic theme. But that shouldn't stop any age from trying this series. These books prove you don't need to have foul language and sexual situations to have a convincing love story.
Thank you Ms. Ting for an amazing 5 star journey.

I won this book through goodreads.

I loved the conclusion to this series. I was scared and worried with Claudia and Michael. I felt nervous and pained for Davin, Vivian and Caleb. I loved watching the back and forth with Holly and Austin. And seeing Michael and Claudia's family and love grow was amazing. I like how at the end we got to see 2 and then 10 years into the future to see that things were still going well. Great way to finish off the series!

What an emotionally powerful story. I was totally blown away and in awe of it. As Mary Ting brings Crossroads to an end my heart sank a little as I have grown attached to the characters in this series. Eternity is a beautiful end to a beautiful story. I don't think I have ever had a book or series of books that have touched my heart in the way Crossroads saga has. I will miss it! I can't wait to see what Mary Ting has up for us next.

A great end to a great series! Was sad to say goodbye to the characters we've come to know and love. But like they say, all things must end. I enjoyed the book and following the story. Crossroads will always have a special place on my shelve and in my life. Well done Mary Ting for creating the crossangels and making all of us part of it.

Really amazing book! I just loved the ending. It was kind of predictable but it didn't take one bit from the story. I think the best part for me was that we were given complete closure in the end. The book doesn't just end with the problem solved and a happy ending. We also get to see what happens with the passage of time. For me, I was left completely happy! Thank you Mary.

A great book to end the saga. The story continues where it ended in Beyond. Claudia and Michael go through another trail that the fallen throw at them. Plus a marriage and a pregnancy on top of that. But with family and friends, nothing is impossible.

I received a free copy of this book though the Goodreads First Reads program in exchange for an honest review.

Eternity is the conclusion to the Crossroads Saga. I have not read books two and three, but it did not take away from my experience with the story (i.e. I was not confused).

That being said, I wished that there had been more action sooner in the story--the first half of the novel focused mostly on Claudia’s so the main conflict—when we eventually got to it—felt rushed.

The romance between Claudia and Michael is very sweet. The book boyfriend conversation made me giggle. However, I wished there had been more challenges to their relationship: for instance, was not as tense or significant as I thought it would be. Relatively speaking, it is easily resolved. On the flip side, Claudia was a more active participant in her fate than in Crossroads, so I commend her for that.

Unfortunately, this was not the cleanest of manuscripts. I won’t go into detail, but there was definitely room for improvement in terms of dialogue and punctuation. The overuse of ellipses bothered me, for instance, as did the abundance of misplaced modifiers.

It is, however, a tender story. I am sure that anyone would love to have someone as sweet (and mischievous) as Michael for a lover. Those who already love the Crossroads Saga thus far should not be disappointed with this instalment.

I was recently hired to proofread this book. The author was not and is not aware that I am writing this review. It was not part of our agreement. I just review every book I read. The only aspect of the story that I had any influence on is spelling and grammar. If you feel my connection to the book makes my review unreliable, so be it, but this is my honest review.

I enjoyed this continuation of Claudia and Michael's story. While I like the idea of happily ever after, it's also nice to sometimes see that being saved by your desired SO once isn't always the end of your problems, and there are all kinds of problems that can crop up your MC's are angels!

While I was reading Eternity I found myself having a hard time remembering the geography of the celestial realm, but geography has always been a weakness for me in real life too. I'm seriously considering drawing myself a map of the region and re-reading to clear up a few areas of confusion remaining in my mind, but I probably won't because I'm about as good at drawing as I am at geography.

The story held quite a bit of action and some intense suspense. Once the mystery of Claudia's disappearing powers was added, I was hooked.

Overall I give Eternity 4 out of 5 stars.

Mary Ting is an amazing author! Her characters are extremely lifelike with all their flaws and weaknesses as well as their virtues. I was glad that the author included glimpses of Michael's life with the Fallen. He was ruthless to say the least and it really goes to show you how much he has changed and developed as a character throughout the series. I like to think of Michael as a strong alpha male - a protector. But this is the first time that we were allowed to see real fear within him - a fear that he could lose everything in an instant - his family, his friends and himself.
I also loved how complex the emotional ties are between the characters. Especially involving Austin. My heart ached for him, but the way he handled himself made me love him even more. He is definitely my favorite male character in this Saga.
Again, a well written, fast-paced, enjoyable and heartfelt story.

Great ending to a great series!!! This was a great series dispite the fact that I thought it was cheesy in the beginning. I did fall in love with the characters and had to know what happened to them. Mary Ting is a very dramatic writer and her characters can come off as a little over the top, but they are loveable and I enjoyed the story she told of their trials and their successes. The love story is epic and I loved how she could have ended the story several times and then there would be more. 4 years later, 10 years later etc. The final ending was very satisfying.

This book shouldn't have been written. I thought the series ended nicely with the third book. The romantic dialogue was overblown and too sappy that you can get a toothache. Conflicts were resolved too easily. Overall, the story was kind of boring with me eye rolling throughout.
