"All this time I was living my life, and I had no idea that my real reason for being alive was to keep Lenix Harlow safe in my arms."

Dawson Sullivan needs a break from coal mining and from his friends, Tommy and Kellan, who have both found happiness with true love, something that still seems impossible and out of reach for Dawson. His vacation plans throw him into the path of Lenix Harlow, lead singer of the rock band Ice Cake. Even knowing that a relationship with Lenix would be impossible, Dawson finds himself falling hard for the sultry rock star. He's found his true love, only happiness is nowhere in sight.

For Lenix Harlow, lead singer of Ice Cake, life on the road and on stage is starting to lose its luster. She needs a break from it all but her manager, Graham Rushton, controls every aspect of her life. Rushton knows the secrets of her past, including the one that, if divulged, would end her career forever. On a break from touring, Lenix meets Dawson Sullivan, and what starts out as a fun fling with a hot stranger soon becomes something much more.

Dirty Secret can be read as a standalone novel, but is best read with the other two novels:
-Dirty Shame
-Dirty Talk

for both kellan and tommy, it’s obvious who were their love interests respectively. however, it’s a whole other story for dawson who has no one in particular in bluefield. lenix’s cool, and not just because she’s a lead singer of a band. dawson feels as if he’s losing out in life and he’s slowly feeling like he’s drifting apart from his friends who are now attached to the love of their life. he has no one to depend on during bad days and he wants that. dawson and lenix weren’t hesitant on acting on their attraction. they had good chemistry and they knew they were attracted to one another. although, their story is a little bit on the open-ended side while the other two boys’s relationships are pretty much solid.

other than the romance between dawson and lenix, i liked that the author touched on the boys’s future too. they are venturing into other things and i loved that for them.

4 Dawson Stars
Sweet, easy story to finish the Bluefield series which I've really enjoyed. Dawson sees all his friend's lives changing but he feels lost. Deciding to join his sisters on vacation , his paths cross with Lennie who is the lead singer of a famous rock band. She is beautiful, talented and just as emotionally lost as Dawson.
These two were so good together. Lots of chemistry. Low angst and nice balance of humour.
Can be read as a standalone book but it's a really good series so why miss out?
Recommend over 18's only due to sexual content and swearing

Sometimes Lenix has to bring her man back to focus, "I stared down at her and had to remind myself what I was looking for in my wallet. I yanked out a condom and held it up triumphantly. “Stop waving that thing around, and put it on.” I loved some of Dawson's answers, "he reached over and spanked my ***. I gasped, pretending to be shocked. “Sorry, but that sweet pixie *** was just begging for it.” I loved this book, I liked Dawson.

Tess Oliver has really outdone herself with this series! What I love is how unique her writing style is. I was looking forward to Dawson's story and I was not disappointed. These characters are so different but they work perfectly together. This book is blended with the right amount of sass and heat to leave you breathless. A definite must read.

3.75 stars. She's a rock star with anxiety issues and he's a coal lied that just needs a break. They meet up on vacation in Cali and then later part. She loves him but wants to be back in the road with him tagging along. He likes where he is, and he's a man after all. He does love her though, but leaves.
Eventually she goes to him and ....
I didn't like the way it ended, it's a HEA but she still gone a lot with the bad and he's waiting for her. He even says at the end that it's not ideal. I feel like it wasn't finished, maybe if there was a 5 years later or a wedding with kids or something. Who knows.

Now to bad this is the end of this series, I would have love to see the weddings for both Hunk and Dawson.

Dawson. The odd man out, he saw his two best friends both with their childhood sweethearts, one was his twin sister get their HEA but he had no one but the occasional hookup. All changed when his California vacation came up he met his perfect women, the lead singer named Lenix. Her past is catching up and affecting her performance now on 'rest leave' she finds someone to help her figure out what he needs to do.

Dawson is feeling out of sorts now that both of his friends have found their HEA. So he heads of to California for a vacation with his sisters.
He happens to meet up with Linix who is a lead singer in a band. They hook up and she invites him to come on tour with her. He doesn't feel comfortable in her world. He goes home to move on but he doesn't forget her. Three months go by and she shows up at the bar they hang at.
This for me was just okay.

DNF at 15%. I could not get into this book. There were so many random and unnecessary plot points I lost interest really fast. And I hate not finishing books. I tried multiple times to get back into it.

Dirty Secret is the third book in the Bluefield Bad Boys series and I loved this one, maybe even a bit more than the other two-I loved the other two, but Dawson's story really touched my heart!

Dawson, is the third young man in the Bluefield boys, and just like Tommy and Kellan, he goes to work in the mines right out of high school. However he is feeling a little left out or "sad" as his two best friends have found their significant others, and for Dawson that day has just not happened. After he has a particularly scary episode down in the mine, getting really claustrophobic and scared, even his dreams being about terrible things happening to him, he decides to take up his two other sisters on their offer and goes to California to stay at the beach for a week, and have some time to unwind, have fun and forget about everything going on back home. After all he is the last of the 'Trog boys' as they are called -living on the wrong side of the tracks and working in the mine, and he really is jealous of his best friends finding love and leaving him the odd man out, he feels left out and has no one else he wants to hang out with.

Dawson is about to have the vacation of his life! At the airport a beautiful little 'pixie' of a woman who is beautiful and has red hair and the attitude to go with it, kicks off her shoes and one of them lands in his pile of stuff as it goes through the check in. When he sees it is her shoe as she comes to reclaim it and he realizes he is looking at a well known rock goddess, he can't believe his luck! By the same token, Lenix Harlow can't believe how handsome Dawson is and what a body he has, complete with tattoos! After they talk for a few minutes, they board the plane, Dawson going to coach and Lenix to first class, and he thinks he would have loved to have her around to talk to.

After the plane takes off, there is a commotion, and Lenix comes into coach, and finds Dawson who is sitting by himself and she sits next to him. They hit it off at once and Dawson can sense that Lenix is hiding something that makes her sad, and she knows Dawson is upset too! Despit all this they really like each other.

They say goodbye at the airport; Lenix says goodbye to 'Her coalminer', asshe has started calling him,and she finds out that Harlow will be staying at the beach hotel down the lane from the house they are staying in! Dawson thinks this is the last he is going to be seeing Lenix, and meets up with his sisters to go to the hotel where he got his own room. True to form he finds his sisters, who he loves, irritating as usual, and goes to his room. A few minutes later his sister tells him some woman is asking for him and when he finds out it's Lenix he runs out there and tells his sisters not to bother them!

They have a wonderful time getting to know each other and spend some time between the sheets as well! They spend a lot of time together that week, and Lenix's manager tries to keep her from doing anything. The reason she is taking the break is that she was suffering from stage fright and he wants her to rest as her having to take a rest as he calls it is costing all of them a lot of money.

After their manager leaves one day, the band calls a meeting to talk about their manager skimming money, as their accountant called and told them things are not adding up. The manager helped Lenix when she was at a low point in her life and now he holds it over her head and she can't fake it anymore, she wants to get all her dirty laundry out and live in peace.

She finally finds the courage to tell Dawson and she feels so happy to know he is not judging her for it and neither are the guys in the band! They talk to their manager about it and find out Lenix gave her story to a reporter she saw all the time following her, but being pushed around by the others-she gives him his big break, by telling him her story so he can publish it and she can have her story told the way she wanted it to be told. She is relieved when the tabloids say all her fans do not care.

The day comes when they have to part and they are both so sad and Lenix tells her Coalminer she may come to call. They call and text but soon things go back to normal and Dawson carries her in his heart but at the same time knowing he won't see her again.

Will Dawson see his Pixie again? Will he ever find someone to love like his friends have? Will Lenix ever see the man she fell for at the beach? You will have to read this and find out! I read this book in one sitting, as it was so good and I wanted to see what was going to happen. There is a lot of feeling in this book, a lot of sexual angst as well and there is also the beginnings of love! What's not to like! Do yourself a favor and read this next book in The Bluefield Boy's Series- you will be so glad you did!

I gave this book 5***** glittering stars and can't wait for my next Tess Oliver read!

Oh, I am a bit behind posting the review for this book.....but believe me it was an absolute WINNER !!!. It was Dawson and Lennie's tale and these two could not be any more perfect for each other. They both are searching for something, what ?. Well, they don't know. I DO THOUGH !!! It is each other (swoons and sighs).

Tess is ahead of the game with her writing skills. She is like the Queen Midus of books....they turn to gold !!!

Truly an EPIC read. The plot was perfect, pace spot on and character development flawless !!

Well done Tess and many thanks for this opportunity x

Dirty Secret is the third and final book in Tess Oliver’s Bluefield Bad Boys series. Dirty Secret is about Dawson and Lenix. This book could be read as a standalone novel, but I recommend reading Dirty Shame and Dirty Talk (Bluefield Bad Boys, books 1 & 2) to get the backstory on Dawson’s character. Truly you cannot go wrong reading Dirty Shame book #1 and Dirty Talk book #2, as they are fantastic stories.

Thank you Tess Oliver for another drool-worthy cover. Dawson is feeling a bit sorry for himself, as he sees his two best friends, Kellan and Tommy, happy and settling down with the women they have fallen in love with. Feeling restless he heads out to the California to vacation at the beach with his two sisters, Aubrey and Megan. While standing in the security line at the airport he meets Lenix Harlow, the lead singer for the band Ice Cake. They also end up spending time on the plane together. Lenix is having some stage fright issues, which leads the band to take some time off to regroup at a beach house in California. Lenix is hiding a secret, which she feels is the reason behind the anxiety she feels on stage. There is also the band’s manager who is constantly threatening to expose her secret in order to keep her under his control. The sparks fly immediately between these two. There may be dirty secrets, but that is not the only thing dirty. The sex scenes will leave you hot, breathless and wanting more. Dawson has fallen for Lenix hard, but they come from two different worlds. He knows that this can be no more than a summer fling for both of them. Has the final Trog found his soul mate? I am not going to tell you, you will have to read this wonderful story for yourself. This was such a great series and definitely a must read. I loved each one, but have to admit I had been waiting for Dawson’s story and was not disappointed. I am so sad that the series is over. Why did there only have to be three coal miners? Why not four? I am a Tess Oliver fan and cannot wait to see what she has in store for us next.

I Was Provided A ARC By The Author
(Possible Spoilers)

The men of Bluefield just keep geting sexier!

Dawson Sullivan needs time away from his small coal mining town, Bluefield. Relaxing on the beach with his sisters, no coal mines, no dirt and grit. Dawson has never felt lonelier, he feels he's losing his best friends, while he's stuck, their in love and moving on. Dawson's trip to California is looking even better when he meets the lead singer of Ice
Cake, Lenix Harlow. The beautiful and sassy red head has grabbed Dawson's attention, and he's more then happy to spend some time in the sun with her.

Lenix Harlow is the lead singer for the band, Ice Cake. She can't walk outside without paparazzi following her every move. And now with anxiety plaguing her and making it hard for her to perform on stage, her manger and her band mates all on edge and pressuring her to get it together. Her life has been a whirlwind of fame, and all she wants is to step back and relax, find herself in the middle of all this mess. With a trip to the beach, Lenix feels maybe she can figure out whats causing her to panic. When the dreamy, Dawson Sullivan appears, Lenix knows her coming to California was the right thing. The beach, sun, and a tall tattooed, small town guy is just what she needs.

I'm sad to see another fantastic series by Tess Oliver end. These Bluefield Bad Boys and their amazing women were so much fun to read. The series ends with the hunky, broody Dawson and the spunky, lovable Lenix. Total opposites but they just click, they are meant to be. Dawson shows a vulnerable side when it comes to him not being ready for change. He's rough, sexy and a real protector. Lenix comes from a dark past, and hard upbringing, she's struggling with the secrets she keeps. She's strong and talented. And she's ready to break's free of her past and start living her life on her own terms.

I hate to close the pages to such a great series. But I'm always excited to see what Tess Oliver brings us next.

What can I say? I just love all of Tess Oliver's books! This series, the Bluefield Bad Boys, had a good mix of different story lines. I have to admit this one was my favorite since it was set, mostly, in California and the two main characters had never met before.

Dirty Secret is about Dawson, the third Bluefield Bad Boy, and Lenix (or Lennie, or my favorite, Pixie), the lead singer of Ice Cake.

Dawson has seen his entire life change in the course of a year. Both of his best friends found the love of their life and he feels left behind and lonely. So he takes his sisters' offer to take a week's vacation in California.

Lennie has a bad case of stage fright and has had to cancel several concerts. None of this makes her the loved one of the group, especially her overbearing manager, Graham. They declare to the media that she is suffering from exhaustion and are taking a break and going to California.

Dawson and Lennie meet in the airport when her sandal goes flying into his bin in the security line. The attraction is instantaneous and when Lennie can't handle Graham bothering her in first class, she goes wandering the plane and comes across Dawson sitting alone in coach. They spend the rest of the flight together.

I don't give spoilers, but suffice to say the rest of the book explores Dawson and Lennie's budding relationship. And yes, going with the title of the book, there is a dirty secret to be revealed, but you'll have to get your copy and read it to find out who it's about and just what it is.

I absolutely LOVED this book, and this series, and I look forward to more from Tess!

Dirty Secret is sexy & fun. This book is about Dawson the Coal Miner that doesn't want to be tamed. Well at least he didn't think he wanted to but that all changes when he meets Lenix The Famous Sexy Lead Singer for the band Ice Cake. There story begins on the airplane taking them both to the beaches of California. Dawson is meeting with his older sisters and Lenix is taking a week off for some R & R. The vacation to the beach has Lenix & Dawz spending alot of time having sexy time between the sheets. Dawson is the sex god I thought he would be. He is also part bad boy/part gentleman which makes him so mouth watering irresistible. Lenix is a beautiful woman who has come from a rough background and made hard decisions in order to survive on the streets growing up. They seem to fit eachother. She is a woman who says what she wants and takes it. She also has a vulnerable side which makes her sweet. From the minute they meet you can feel their connection. They have to try and fit forever into one week vacation.

Well its seems Lenix found the person she can call home to in "Coal Miner" Dawson and he found his "Pixie" in Lenix. The story is smooth and easy to read. Sex scenes are off the charts, storyline was interesting. I found the Lenix's band mates intriguing would like to know more about them. Maybe Tess will do a series on the Sexy Rock Stars of Ice Cake...well one can wish. Happy Reading!!! I received this as an ARC for an honest review

I am going to miss the Bluefield Bad Boys. They may be trogs. They may be "just coal miners". But they make me wish I was young and living in their hometown. Dirty Secret is the final book, the final love story, the final fantasy. Dirty Secret left me with a big smile.
The boys grew up together knowing that the coal mine was their destiny. In the last two books, Kellan and Tommy got their happily ever afters. Now Dawson is odd man out. He is alone and lonely.
A vacation to see his sisters in California couldn't have come at a better time. The trip changes everything. It starts with flip flop, a modern day glass slipper, while going through airport security. The owner of the flip flop is none other than Lenix Harlow, rockstar. Dawson is her modern day prince all tats and muscles.
Lenix is just as fed up with her situation. She is looking for an escape. They are two lost souls passing in an airport. They are two lost souls sitting on a plane. They are two lost souls sharing a beach. They are two souls sneaking around in the dark trying to become one.
The forces against them are strong. But what might destroy them is a secret that Lenix has held close for years. It will either destroy everything or be the glue that holds everything together.

I received a copy from the author.

Lenix (Lennie) Harlow is the lead singer in a popular band. Dawson Sullivan is a coal miner. They meet in an airport and then later on a plane headed to California. Lennie and her band are hiding out for a few weeks since she has stage fright and had to cancel a few shows, while Dawson is on vacation visiting two of his sisters. What starts out as a conversation on a plane quickly turns into something more for Lennie and Dawson. These two connect on an emotional and physical level. What happens when the paparazzi comes about and when Lennie and Dawson have to return to their normal lives?

Dirty Secret is the third and final book in the Bluefield Bad Boys series. It can be read as a standalone, but I would suggest reading the previous two books since the previous couples are mentioned and seen in this book. I enjoyed reading Dawson and Lennie's book. They each have issues and challenges with their lives and jobs that they need to overcome. I think they were perfect for each other. I liked how quick this story was and was not too angst-filled. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to read a book that is easy, quick, just enough conflict and angst to satisfy but not over done.

I've been so excited for Dawson's story! So glad that Dirty Secret is finally here. It is the chance encounter of Dawson and Lenix, not once but twice! Right away I loved Lenix Harlow and her spunk! Chapter 7 and the flight was so good and had me so tickled! Body Guard, Axel, I could picture him and only laugh! With the wording you could so easily picture what Lenix put Axel through! I love Dawson's quick wit and come backs when talking with Lenix AND Dawson and Lenix's chemistry throughout the book. I was so sucked into the story line that when Dawson's best friend dropped his news, my heart fell with Dawson's. The 3 friends, Kellan, Tommy and Dawson come full circle in the end, but for Dawson and Lenix, I wanted the extreme. Instead I got a realistic HEA!
This can be read as a stand alone, but highly suggest reading Dirty Shame and Dirty Talk first to understand the full dynamics and background stories of Kellan, Tommy and Dawson. Another winner for Author Tess Oliver!

Dirty Secret is the 3rd book in the Bluefield series. This is Dawson's story and it's a good one. Dawson is watching from the sidelines of life, watching as his friend's pair up and start family life, watching as his life seems to just be stuck, going no where and leaving him alone. He heads out to California and his little vacation might just be exactly what his life needs to pick up and start moving forward again. Lenix is a rockstar. She has everything, well everything except for family and relationships and the strength to overcome anxiety on stage. She's hiding a past and doesn't see how her future can be if she can't get everything under control. Follow both characters on their journey to self-realization ad maybe even love. Well written, great characters, wonderful supporting cast, Tess Oliver always knocks it out of the park. Can be read as a stand-alone or as part of the series, which i totally recommend.

ARC for an honest review!

You sometimes get to a story, or a series, that you just can't get enough of. Sometimes you just have to re read the whole series to get the full effect the books have on you. Just as I had done with these books these days. I couldn't stop reading them. These stories are one of my favorites of Tess's. I know I said that for too many books already but who says we have to choose one. This author amazes me every single time with every single book that I don't really know what to expect other than total bliss when reading her books.

Through bridges and trains, to beaches and stories, these books and this series were the ones that had the most amazing effect on me. Maybe because I loved the way these guys fell in love, or it was because the fell in love with someone just right for them.

Amazing series and I would love everyone to read it from the start. Just.....Sigh.

Kindle Copyfor Review

It started out as an airport encounter that ended up as a vacation fling. They lived in two different worlds but they were meant for each other.

She was Lenix Harlow lead singer of Ice Cake but lately she been having stage fright and their manager has been controlling her life. He knows her past and threatens to reveal it. Sothe band recently cancelled two sold out concerts so she can take a break as the band headed to California for a vacation.

Dawson Sullivan is a coal miner. His childhood best friends are in relationships as he finds himself feeling left out and wanting more. He decides he needs to get away and decide to meet up with his sisters on the beach for a vacation.

Even though this is temporary, they find themselves drawn more together. Will they end up going their separate ways after their vacation ends or will they realize they were meant to be? A hot story of love striking when you least expect it.

I knew from the previous books that Dawson was going to be my favorite, he totally was!!!! Dawson is the epitome of a bad boy.... Tall, dark, muscular and tattoos!!! He is in desperate need of a vacation and winds up on the beach in California. Lenix is a rock star with a stage fright problem in need of some down time. Did both wind up in the same place and sparks fly. The have some of the most hot, sexy off the charts chemistry I've ever read!!! I absolutely loved the banter between the two and couldn't have picked a better woman for Dawson!!! When somethings come to light about Lenix's past they have to cut the vacation short.... I really felt Bad for Dawson and Lenix but absolutely loved the ending. I'm sad to see the Bluefield Bad Boy's series come to an end. I feel like this is one of Tess's best series.... A must read book/series!!!!

Dawson and Lenix just set the pages on fire. I think my kindle melted! I've been waiting for Dawson to finally find his happily ever after. Each of these Bluefield Boys holds a special place in my heart. Each of these characters has come from nothing to making something of themselves. They are hard working, down to earth people. The chemistry between them is off the charts HOT. Lenix is afraid that her secret will destroy her world and any chance she has with Dawson. He could care less, saying that people do what they need to in order to survive. It's an emotional ride that has you breathless and craving more. A MUST read!!! I'm a Tess Oliver fan for life!

I absolutely loved this story. I was pulled in from the beginning of the series until the end of the series. Dawson is hot and sexy coalminer. The last of his friends to be single. Dawson feeling lonely decides to go on vacation with his sisters. Lenix is sexy and sassy rockstar. When Dawson and Lenix meet the attraction is strong and sparks fly. The chemistry between them is hot! I really enjoyed the banter between Dawson and Lenix. Lenix is hiding secrets. Will Dawson be able to understand and forgive? I really enjoyed this book. This story does not disappoint. A must read! Received advance copy for honest review.

The last of our Trog boys is jealous of his friends and their loves. Dawson has two best friends that have been pining over their women for years but he doesn't have anybody except his sisters. Headed out on vacation, to California, he meets up with a special lady. Pixie/Lenix is a rock star with a past and the secret is finally taking it's toll. Dealing with her band mates, manager and bodyguard Dawson can give her the mental break she needs. In Oliver fashion the two of them have plenty of sparks to start a forest fire and the sex scenes are dirty in a good way. Always a fun quick read. Thanks to Oliver for my advanced reader's copy so I could give my honest review.

Holy CRAP!
What a fantastic ending to the Bluefield Bad Boys! I've read all three of these stories and they just keep getting better and better. Dawson has turned into my favorite bad boy now, he's strong when needed and has feelings, not the consummate man-whore he was in the previous two stories. Lenix, the rockstar who needs a break from the overbearing band manager/rescuer/overlord, meets the hot guy from the airport on the same California bound airplane as she’s on. The heat these two seem to let off is amazing before they even get anywhere. Read this story and see for yourself what you think. I LOVED it!

Man I think these ones just keep getting better and better. I loved Lennie and Dawson's story and who better to tell them than Tess Oliver! This book started out steamy and went right into sauna mode! It is probably the inner rock star in me that helped me to fall in love with this story the most. I have to admit even though I loved Dawson's role in the other two books I was impassive about him, but now, holy hotness, he is sweet, protective and so loving. If you want a quick escape and fun read then pick up this one, heck pick up all three in the series, they are fun, sexy, and just what you need for a little escape!

Wow, loved all 3 of Bluefield bad boys, and can't wait to read what's next.
Dawson is feeling kind of on the side lines with his best friends spending their spare time with their girlfriends and less time down at the Hole. He decides to spend time away from his loved up friends and the gritty coal mine town of Bluefield and visit his sisters in California. It's on his journey there that he meets the famous Lennie. It's lust at first sight, and soon both Dawson and Lennie can't keep their hands of each other, but Lennie has a past that she wants to forget, that could mean trouble for her career and relationship with Dawson.
