Project Hell--Part TWO

Rate this book
The New Earth series continues in Peyton’s Doll—Part Two

The truth won't always set you free...

Things heat up in part 2 when Peyton has his hands full...of Hell. Despite his misgivings, their chemistry cannot be denied. He's driven to protect and help her, but is there a place for her in his life? If it’s not enough that the revelations of her past at The Factory threaten to break their tenuous relationship apart. Between the appearances of Peyton’s meddling Aunt Joanna, a truly horrible breakfast, a chance encounter with an ex-lover, and the crack of a whip on his ass, Peyton may not survive to see what life with Hell has in store for him next.

This book is part 2 of a series. It is not a standalone story.

Felicity Kates, also know as Kate Reedwood, is a mild-mannered manager by day. At night, she trades in her high heels for bunny slippers and lets her imagination run wild.

A trained artist and writer, Felicity enjoys writing stories that combine humor with strong characters who know what they want and aren't afraid to go get it. Every story is an emotional journey where the characters must struggle to find their happily ever after. But they do always reach it in the end, no matter the time or place in the universe.

She lives off of coffee and dreams and enjoys going for walks along the shores of Lake Ontario, taking pictures of whatever catches her eye. A romantic at heart, she loves to snuggle under a blanket with a good book to warm up the cold Canadian winters.

When not dreaming up new worlds and books to write with Australian author Chris Heinicke, she can most often be found enjoying the quiet company of her husband and son.

I really enjoyed this second installment of Peyton's Doll!

I love the twist and turns it is taking. We're getting to know more about Hell and what she went through, and the conflict this is causing Peyton. It's painful to see him reliving her memories, like he was feeling what she went through himself. His determination to right the wrongs that were done to Hell, and to his wife Sarah, to figure out just what is happening in the factory, is completely unwavering. He's so focused on protecting Hell from anything and anyone set on hurting her again, I can hardly handle how that makes me feel! Peyton is utterly swoon-worthy.

And Hell, she is so determined and fiesty and sassy, I am just loving her! She is putting Peyton through the ringer, and with a little help of his Aunt Joanna I'm not sure he's going to survive.

The chemistry between Peyton and Hell, holy hell it's combustible!

I cannot wait to see how the next installment plays out- I so want these two to be happy, and for their world to be a better place.

Felicity Kates has captured in this installment of the New Earth Series the conflict that rages on inside Peyton regarding his feelings towards Hell and what is happening at the Factory. With the Factory suspicious of Peyton’s Doll, Hell, his protective side kicks in and the heat turns on and up! They truly have chemistry that makes you forget that she is a Doll – really she is more than meets the eye and a little bit gets revealed at a time. Peyton goes on an expedition with his family and Hell comes along at his aunt’s insistence. (Imagine traveling with family in a close quarters ALL THE TIME! It will make for interesting conversation and inventive methods of getting alone time with Hell.) I really like Peyton’s aunt Joanna, she’s a firecracker, that one! And the mystery at the Factory is just as big a character as Hell and Peyton and I really can’t wait to see how this all plays out. This is not a standalone book. Be sure to read Part One before you read this one! A copy was provided for an honest review. 5 out of 5 stars.

Peyton's Doll Part Two: Well, if you haven't read part one...what are you waiting for!? I love this series so far. Peyton's doll, that was gifted to him in book one, is certainly turning out to be more than JUST a doll. But WHO or WHAT is she!? This second book is building into more questions. Questions that I want to know NOW...but Ms. Kates is dangling that carrot! Darn you! I love Peyton and Hell's bickering back and forth. It's comical and sexy as...well, Hell! They are both strong characters and I love that in a book! If you love Sci-Fi romance this is FANTASTIC...If you're not a fan of Sci-Fi (and I admit, I'm not) you will still LOVE this series. Felicity has made a fan out of me!

Picking up directly where Part 1 finished, we find Peyton and Hell building up their sexual chemistry, to the point of the climatic sex scene. Peyton is a man with baggage, which when he puts it all aside and lives in the moment with Hell, you can see a man full of lust and hunger, but also a man who has true feelings for a being who isn't what she's supposed to be. There's deep secrets inside her, ones she can't quite remember and threaten to tear their lives apart.
Unlike the first part, we meet a few more characters in Part 2. The deviant Jared, the nosy but wise Aunt Jo and the sneaky vixen Genova all make entertaining entrances to the story, and cause the reader to worry about their motives and whether any of these characters could bring an end to Peyton and Hell's lives.
The characters are intriguing, the plot moving along steadily and the backstory slowly sprinkled within the pages of this enjoyable read. I didn't know how Felicity could top part 1, but she has done so by taking the story in a new direction, which I look forward to reading more of in part 3.

I was given a copy exchange for my honest review..
This is the second in Paytons doll.. And I definitely recommend that you need to read part one first.. As the story continues with hell and Payton in the second book their connection and feelings for each other has taken off to new heights. I still love how all the way she's not like your typical doll she has her own opinions a little sass and a lot of fight in her. When she finds out what was truly done to her in the factory she finds she needs Peyton more than ever to help her with new memories replace the pain with pleasure. But then to also watch Peyton become so protective of Hell fighting his own feelings and frustrations. So can Payton keep Hell safe, keep her a secret, keep the factory away? Just a couple questions that come up for me and I can't wait for more of their story to find out.

Warning! Cliffhanger! This is a great story! I wish I could've read it all at once. This truly is an epic space opera/romance, and I'm glad that I've gotten to read them early, so far! I'm spoiled in most of my book choices, in that the plot is concluded in each book, and I'm not usually a fan of serials, but Peyton's Doll is so superbly DIFFERENT, I can't partition it in my brain. Seriously, I usually wait until a series concludes, before reading, so I won't have to reread the preceding books before reading the new ones. So far, this story has been retained, which is a big thing for me, and I can only pray that Kates will produce the next bit soon! I received an ARC as a blogger, and seriously loved it!

I received an ARC copy from the author in exchange for an honest review.
As in part one this story continues with Peyton and his Doll "Hell" so you need to read part one before reading part two. This also ends in a cliffhanger so be prepared. More is revealed as how and what happened to Hell while she was at The Factory but Peyton is starting to have great feelings so that is touched upon here. I cannot wait to find out what happens next in this sci-future adventure.

WOW!! I have never read a sci-fi book, ever! This one pulled me in on the 1st one and kept me on the 2nd one!! Awesome job!! Can't help but pull for Peyton and Hell. You really ended up pulling for all the characters no matter their importance to Peyton! Even the ones that were gone! I was given this ARC for an honest read!! GREAT BOOK!!!

This series are not my kind of books (sci fi) but having said that it's a slow starting book but just as it starts getting really good as in can put book down it ends and you start to think what the hell but it does make you want to read the next one to find out what happenes with Payton and hell :)

I've never been a big fan of Sci-fi books but this one definitely changed that. This book pulled me into the story and kept me reading until the end. Peyton has conflicting feelings of things going on in his life. The heat is turned up in this book. Lots of chemistry and hotness. Can't wait for the next book. ARC was provided for an honest review.

I bought this book via a Barnes and Nobles Gift Card.

As much as i enjoyed the first book of this series, Project Hell 1 or whatever it was called, this one brought so much more depth to the characters by bringing a crazy old bat who tries like all heck to cause trouble for Ms. Hell(Helen) and Peyton. Also, some really interesting twists play with your heart and mind. (I never provide "spoilers".)

I will give kudos to Ms Kates, or whomever she is, for solid story continuation, emotionally charged writing, and mind helping descriptive.

And yes, I highly recommend this read.
