What a fantastic story about two friends who ended up separated while they were teenagers due to some pretty bad circumstances. They ended up not seeing each other again until years later- one of them ended up working on the right side of the law and the other ended up on the wrong side of the law.
FBI agent Karis Melendez and her partner are assigned to an art theft case and when she started working it, she had no idea that this case would put her best friend back into her life and definitely not in a good way. Seeing him, seeing Bron Du Murier brought back all these memories and then seeing what he may be possibly tied up in, criminally has Karis devastated. She wonders what made him choose to go this route and can he possibly be saved and can she do it without risk to her job?
Bron had a horrible life until he met a person who taught him how to grift, how to con a con and do it super well. From then on, his life has been so much better; until the day he was hired to steal 3 painting from the art gallery. He turns on the tv and sees his best friend from childhood, Karis, on the tv and his life suddenly shifts. The sparks, the chemistry is still there and he doesn’t know how to feel or what to think. Knowing what she does know, is she going to arrest him? Will he allow her to?
This story is filled with so many twists and turns; the H/h have a complex and beautiful back story that makes the present story rich in detail. There is so much going on that you root for the hero and want him to have a HEA. The heroine deserves , as well, to get her HEA and to have it with her hero. The ending is fantastic and only MS PARKER can write it that way. This is one of her best novels and I highly recommend Con Man!

Book 1
Hmmm will Bron risk his identity for a woman? Can Karis keep sensitive information under lock and key? Cloak and dagger at its best will the past catch up to the present?
Book 2
Bron is distracted by seeing his childhood friend. Can he find a new distraction? Will the pull between he and Karis be too great to severe? Will Karis regret her decisions?
Book 3
Tension is running high and Karis is walking a fine line with her job. Can Bron help her or look to save himself? An excellent build up of the characters, M.S. Parker's descriptive writing has me on the end of my seat.
Book 4
How do you con a con? Can Born pull off the impossible? Will Karis trust her instincts? Will they be able to work together to find a killer? Or has the threat been under her nose all along?
Book 5
The pressure is on! Can Bron and Karis pull off a relationship with one of them being an FBI agent while the other is a grifter? M.S. Parker's Con Man series was outstanding! The box set had me totally entertained with mystery, comedy, and sexy time. A great read!

Interesting series
This is another good series by this author, Karis and Bron were best friends as children and young teenagers until tragedy separated them. Both went through really traumatic events in their young lives one decided to dedicate their lives to law enforcement the other to a life of crime as a conman. They come back together when Karis recognises him in an art robbery and find their attraction for each other is still there only even stronger. She puts her career in the FBI on the line for him and in return he offers to help detain other criminals. His old mentor commits a murder for which Bron is initially accused he needs to prove he didn't do it. Together Karis Bron and her partner agent Alverez get their man. It is an interesting series with lots of chemistry between Karis and Bron, the end was a little disappointing it didn't make a lot of sense that a very clever criminal Uaine would come out of hiding to try to shoot a federal agent and end up getting conned into making a confession. Something were a little unbelievable but on the whole a good read.

Good
This was unfortunately not my favorite series. It was heartbreaking, interesting and full of surprises. Great story line and enjoyed the characters. But this series must be an earlier works from the author. There is a must read bonus book called Con Man After. Although, I would have liked a different outcome (baby) it was still good but short. Good read!

Seriously Good
Karis and Bron were the closest of friends. They were practically inseparable until tragedy separated them. Now a decade has passed, they have grown up into different people. They are on totally different sides. How is it possible that this could have happened. Can they bridge the divide and find equal footing?
Truly an enjoyable reading experience.

When White Collar Agent Karis Melendez and her partner get a case of a painting going missing from a gallery but to find out who took it is going to take some work to figure out. But after spending hours looking at video footage and the thief being good at avoiding all cameras Karis see’s in a door a face from her past or is it? Will Karis be able to reveal who the mystery man is or will she keep it to herself?
Bron is forger, and thief, and is good at what he does, he is a con man and after his latest job he is ready to move onto his next mark, but after putting in all the planning all is turned upside down when he is caught in the act with the maid…… but when he tries to sweeten things over it doesn’t go as planned.
Bron had a hard life and after his parents were killed in a home invasion gone wrong he got put in the system but after that no one knows what happened and now he is the FBI’s watch list but when he finds out who one of the agents is it’s a game of cat and mouse and now after seeing Karis after all these years it’s like he wants to be caught.
Karis is now on the hunt for all she can find out about her childhood best friend and what happened to him after he went into the system but it seems like he dropped off the face of the earth but will Karis be able to arrest her friend or will she let him go?
But Bron wants a deal but when he finds out his latest mark has been killed he knows exactly who has done it and he has no choice but to help them but he still wants Karis like he did all those years ago and when she tells him she wants to keep things professional he tells her he won’t make a move until she does but unsure if he is trying to con her or if the feelings he has for her are real and she tries hard to put things on the back burner but thigs don’t go to plan. And with a sleazy boss who can be a bit too hands on or not so subtle in his comments towards the female agents Karis and her partner have their work cut out for them, but when Bron goes off the grid and cuts his ankle tracker she knows he is going after Uaine his former mentor.
Will Karis get to Bron before things get out of hand or will she lose him again just as they have found each other again?
Ms Parker has done a great job of this book not too much in the way of sex but the tension is there and you can feel it between the main characters. When I first started reading this I automatically thought of the tv show White Collar and seen Bron as Matt Bomer and it made the book even more fun to read with that image going through my head.

She couldn't believe her eyes when she saw it was him. She was crushed wondering what happened to him to lead him down this path. Can she find him first and help him and not lose her job?
Bron has had a tough life until he met Uaine, he trained him to be a con man. He's very good at what he does. When he sees the art theft on TV sees the FBI agents he can't believe his eyes its his childhood best friend Karis. He's happy to see she's doing well, he needs to see her but will she arrest him? If you love to read a series as a complete collection so that you don’t have to miss out on anything then you don’t have to worry about this one, as yet again M.S. Parker has released Con Man as a boxset so be sure to grab your copy if you haven’t already. I seriously enjoyed this and I have a feeling that those who have already read it will agree with me.
Just in case you want a little information about it, Karis is an FBI agent and of course as one would works out on the field on the cases that get given to her. Bron is a Con Man and as this is his only way of life in the real world he manages to get jobs done without being caught. Both Karis and Bron were best friends when growing up but when things changed due to Bron’s parents being murdered and then Karis Mother running off and her Father killing himself they never saw each other again until a job went wrong. They both had feelings for each other in the past when they were younger but surly after seeing each other after so many years things aren’t going to be straight forward. Karis decides to join the FBI's white collar division after witnessing how it destroyed her family and catch future white collar criminals. Bron became an orphaned after losing his parents to a home invasion. He was bounced around foster homes until he ran away. He met a man who took him under his wing and taught him everything there is to know about conning. Karis is assigned to an art gallery theft which Bron was involved in. She hasn't seen or heard from Bron in a very long time and was forced to suppress her feelings towards him. Coming face to face with her high school crush brought back those feelings. Karis now has to make a decision which can ruin her career or ruin her friendship with the only guy she's ever loved.
I enjoyed readying this series. It was interesting to watch Karis juggle with decisions of her heart or her career.

This story started out quickly; with great suspense and the main characters are Karis an FBI rookie and her best friend growing up Bron. They had been separated by tragedy and had lost touch over the years. Their connection was incredible and the pull to get back in each others lives was felt by this reader all through this as well as the complete box set.

"Was she keeping me a secret from them?" "No matter how much I tried to pretend that I didn't care about anyone, I didn't want her to be hurt."
"She was like a disease, infecting every part of me until she was all I could think about, dream about."
"I already knew what I wanted to do with him, and that was definitely off the table...Which of course made me think about things I wanted to do on the table..."

MS Parker how do you do it? You literally suck me in every single time! I love this series. It was brilliant.
Con Man is literally just that. It's about two kids who were best friends and separated as teens. One ends up a Con Man the other an FBI agent. The question is when they're reunited can she persuade him to change his ways?
I really love the dynamic of this series. Karis is an amazing character. She doesn't take anything from anyone. She's this independently strong confident woman, who you really want to be if you think about it . . . and she's got her whole life situated. Until . . . Bron shows up and throw a monkey wrench into her plans.
Bron is this tall suave debonaire man that has spent a lot of time trying to escape his past. But now with Karis back it seems to be catching up to him once again. This was one fantastic series that I highly recommend you read!

Con Man Series
Wow, this is such an intense, exciting, never dull story. Karis is an FBI agent, who is just starting her career. Gets an assignment, when investigating it, they are at a loss, the thief seems to have stayed just out of view of the cameras, the more searching Karis does, she sees a image/ reflection in the glass door as suspect is exciting the building. Shocked, looks like her best friend from her younger years, Bron. They were separated at 15 years old when his parents were killed and he was sent to foster care, they lost touch. Such an amazing story, so many emotions, heartbreak, enlightening, they both had tried to find each other after being split apart, but no one would give them answers. Now years later, two different paths, what will happen? Enjoy this story, great story! Seriously love it. ❤️ cannot wait to read follow up book on Con Man

MS Parker has done it again, this series was an amazing read and the fact that we got to read it all one after the other made it even more great.
Karis, I absolutely love her, she is strong and confident and doesn't let any man get away with anything, especially her boss who is continually make advances at her, but then Bron, her childhood love shows back up in her life, not in a good way, he is the suspect in her latest investigation with the FBI.
Bron has lived a life of being a con artist, but will reuniting with Karis, his childhood love, be enough to turn him straight? /and will Karis be able to help Bron escape his past now that it has caught up with him?

I really enjoyed reading Karis & Bron story. Karis & Bron were childhood friends who got torn apart by what happened to their parents, both devastated by the loss of what would have became of there relationship. Years later they will be reunited to Bron is on the wrong side of the law and Karis is an FBI agent. Karis is torn but does the right thing and goes after Bron. Can they get back to how they were when they were younger and both hiding feelings from each other? Love the chemistry between Karis & Bron. Once I started I couldn't stop reading I had to know what was gonna happen next

Surprisingly Great!
I was expecting this box set to be the typical romance of boy and girl meet and are attracted to each other, boy and girl have misunderstandings and conflicts, and then they overcome their conflicts and ride off into the sunset deeply in love. With lots of sex thrown in. The Con Man was all that but so much more. There are lots of twists and turns, which really kept me interested. The characters were believable and it was written in such a way that you to began to care for them. It's also hot and spicy, with plenty of sexy time between the main characters. All in all - a very satisfying read!

The characters were believable and it was written in such a way that you to began to care for them. It's also hot and spicy, with plenty of sexy time between the main characters. All in all - a very satisfying read!

Karis is a rookie FBI agent in the white collar crimes division. Karis and her partner are called to duty regarding a robbery at a museum. Her detective work on this case will reopen a door from her past.
Bron is a grifter. A good con man. He's hired to steal 3 paintings from storage at the museum. Easy job for him. What he doesn't know is that this job will being him closer to his lost first love.
I absolutely loved this series. I was very thankful to read it all together.

I have not come across a book from Ms Parker yet that I didn't like. She's definitely one of my favourite authors! Loved Con Man. In the beginning I found it a little hard to get into but by the end of book 1 I was hooked. I loved the two main characters and the strong connection they shared from childhood that wasn't extinguished despite not seeing each other for many years. Although they were on opposite sites of the spectrum and had many doubts about one another, Karis & Bron never lost faith in each other and were there to help each other. It's a wonderful series.

No "Cons" for Con Man
Con Man is a well-developed, touching, and at times suspenseful story of two childhood friends, separately by tragedy, who as adults find themselves on opposite sides of the law. MS Parker uses their back-stories as an effective means to make even the criminal an endearing and sympathetic character. This is less of the "Alpha-Male" style and more of a true love story...with a few steamy bedroom scenes sprinkled in. A top notch story for the true romantic in us all.

May 31, 2016This book was quite a surprise for me...not the typical love story or lust to love story. This book was drama and intrigue from the start. You knew there was going to be a connection somehow, but I love that it wasn't just thrown together. I love that Karis struggled with what to do, she was real, torn, and human!!! I love Bron, love how exciting & sexy he was. The ultimate bad boy with good intentions!!! Awesome story from M.S Parker!!!

M.S Parker never disappoints with another great story. Karis is an FBI agent assigned to an artwork thief case and finds out that it's her childhood friend Bron. They were friends until something happened with their parents. After all this time the chemistry was still there, Karis is torn in this case because of who it is. What a great box series. A must read.

Wow!! Took me ages to finish that book. Just so wordy and I kept losing interest. Far too long winded and suddenly it just ended. No real reasons for what happened etc.
It could probably have been ok with half the words taken out. Glad I read complete thing and not book by book.
That said, I will read After Conman to see where they are at. Nice to get a bit of closure.

Mrs: Parker love the way you write about Domestic violence against women and children abducted and the abuse they suffered.
I read mostly all your books ,those themes are brilliant and touching the mix of suspense, love, romance and steamy scenes:::!!!OMG ,mysterious

Arc review For honest review .karis and brown grew up as kids and were separated ,but as adults their one different sides of the law. These characters even though on different sides can still read each other and and with their love they find ways to be together. Awesome book and great price.
