Have only finished Cardwell Christmas Crime Scene. Sisters separated almost at birth, grow up not knowing the other even exists. The mother deserted her 1st husband and daughter to marry a rich Italian It’s a convoluted tale that almost feels dated. The rich family not wanting to acknowledge the first daughter due to a crime oriented father and fearing that he might try to abscond with some of their wealth or disgrace them. Flip forward to the present with hitmen, family ties being discovered and of course romance.
OK, now have finished Secret of Deadman’s Coulee. Would give this 3 Stars. More interesting than above. Though not riveting it held my interest, but at times stretched my credulity. Some of the relationships also seemed a bit difficult to understand.
